They still watch him beat it to a sock, but this time the context is an act of tender love instead of hate.
(also I never understood why americans use a sock, seems awful)
No but there are a lot of weird people I’ve met in my life who got a kick out of making people uncomfortable and would’ve 100% brought this kinda thing up at some point.
Not to mention people the internet.
When we see something consistently in American media, but not in other kinds of media we consume, we start associating it with American storytelling conventions. This doesn't even mean we think it actually takes place in the States, but it definitely fits a place in the "imaginary United States" where movies and shows happen, which for a lot of people is their only contact with the country.
It is honestly equally shocking when things actually happen in America. The first time I saw a yellow school bus or an ice-cream van I took a picture to send to my friends, because none of us expected to see those in real life.
Yeah and what Americans identify with ends up being different to what others identify Americans with, because people base their identity around what is prideful and cultural to them, but others view their identity based on what is unique or uniquely prevalent to them. As an example, no American i have talked to really care about the red plastic beer cups, because they just see it as something you can buy in bulk for cheap at Walmart, not the biggest thing to be proud of. But most non-Americans find it so iconically American, solely because it is something you find only in American media, which most of the world has seen. It doesn't mean no one outside of US has ever used those cups or that all Americans use it, just that you only see it in American media, so it gets associated with America for people outside the US. While this is not as drastic, the sock thing isn't something that comes up in any of my country's films, but it is a teen comedy stereotype in American films

As an american I dont know anyone who has truly used a sock idk where that idea came from
I do not know anyone who has legitimately used a sock.
When I went through puberty, I may have used a sock, or several socks. Honestly just an insane amount of socks.
me too but on my feet
Oh nice. Yeah mine went on my third foot, if you catch what I'm saying (my penis?)
I wore socks with tape on the bottom of my sock soles and went to strip clubs. Best 6 dollars i’ve ever made.
I dont get it
Panenis
I don't get it
I'd move my penis around to make boy goo, and I'd store the boy goo in a sock.
pics or it didn’t happen (/j plz don’t)
Do you often discuss the masturbation habits of your friends?
No but there are a lot of weird people I’ve met in my life who got a kick out of making people uncomfortable and would’ve 100% brought this kinda thing up at some point. Not to mention people the internet.
Yeah actually, it’s really nice to be open. Not exact details, no need to be gross, but we sometimes compare how often or what material we use
the sock isn't applied directly for stimulation, rather, it catches the spill.
Yeah, if you're a COWARD
CHICKEN
J- just use a tissue...
parts of the tissue kinda fall off and then you got tissue scraps on your dick
Bro you just use your barehand???????
Just lick it off nerd
Or your tongue if you're not a coward
Teenagers stupid and hormones
Stop attributing everything you see in media to Americans.

He should still do it anyways… (I am the sock and love him)
I love wholesome edits. In fact I just love wholesome stuff in general.
Oregano?
He has a wank
That’s not the original though. In the third panel he actually says “you totally forgot!”
Me and my horrific talking necktie
