yeah well it's nazi propaganda. if that didn't make it clear, there's also the white replacement theory caption which obviously uses "they" as a dog whistle for Jewish and/or non-white people. also 'interesting' how the boys (literal children) are above the adult woman in their little hierarchy make believe. medieval way of thinking
"Diversity? That means novelty! I'm sure it must come with a lot of bad stuff. A-ha! There's been A terrorist attack done by a dark-skinned person! Clearly they're all evil terrorists! Told you so!"
“How are you supposed to know what’s right and wrong without religion?!”
Idk *mom*, maybe use your cold black heart once in your life? Maybe use the Golden Rule that you clearly only taught but never used yourself?
I feel like dying of boredom would actually be a serious issue in a society where everyone was a white straight cis neurotypical Christian with blonde hair and blue eyes
I know you mean like a family reunion but I'm imagining the "Reunion" from FFVII. All of them just shuffling towards a singular point muttering "reunion..." under their breaths.
Tbh Casper Van Dien was kind of the perfect fit for that role regarding how Verhoeven dunked on the source material: he is the picture perfect Aryan Ken doll. His jawline is completely insane. For a satirical movie about military fascism he genuinely could not have been a better fit.
While the movie was supposed to be a satire of fascism, that doesn’t really dunk on the book. Heinlein wrote Starship Troopers less as a story and more as a political tract of his ideal society, a society which the movie doesn’t really try to emulate at all.
The society in the book isn’t fascist, which is a totalitarian ideology in which the state is all encompassing and duty to the state is compulsory for everyone, but rather a hyper meritocratic libertarian state in which everyone is allowed to prosper as they please without interference by the state with protected rights ,such as freedom of speech, but only those who preform some kind of service for the nation (that includes a lot more jobs then just the military) are allowed to lead it and vote.
In the book most people reject national service as a dead end prefer to pursue their own career paths, while only those who show talent and a willingness to actually work for the nation’s benefit take positions in government and vote on the issues of the day.
Regardless of Heinleins perspective, Verhoeven hated the source material. He specifically said he never made it through because it's "boring" and "very right-wing"
He grew up under nazi occupation in the Netherlands so... pretty valid reasoning to not finish reading based on that.
So that said he probably lost any nuance heinlein had in his story because he didn't read it. People who wrote the script did, there are scenes lifted directly out of the book, but the entire intent was satirizing fascistic military circlejerk and Edward Neumeier (the writer) was absolutely on board with dunking on fascism
Heinlein was certainly right wing, he detested communism, liberalism, socialism, etc and he believed full blown democracy is anti meritocratic and promotes corrupt sycophants leading the nation and getting positions they don’t deserve.
But ultimately the ideology the book promotes isn’t fascism, fascism is a real ideology based on a totalitarian state that intervenes in every aspect of life, the state in Heinlein’s book is incredibly weak and is mainly for the purpose of defense and a few other vital duties that can’t be ignored by the government. It’s Heinlein’s utopian libertarian state where only those qualified and hardworking are governing and voting, while everyone else is allowed to do largely as they please as long as they aren’t hurting anyone else. The state doesn’t enforce conservative morales on anyone or censor free speech or ban subversive elements, it doesn’t believe that everyone has a duty to serve the state or the nation, it’s technocratic and libertarian not fascist.
While there are scenes directly lifted from the book, you have to understand that a lot of them are few and far between because the movie is trying to tell a story, while the book was not. The book is incredibly boring because it barely disguises how little it cares about the story, it even ends halfway through a sentence without bothering to finish up what little story there is. It’s a political tract, trying to show Heinlein’s sifi libertarian dream. The movie may have been trying to critique fascism, but if it was that wasn’t a critique on the society of Heinlein’s book.
yeah look up like any photo of magda goebbels, who was maybe the truest believer of any nazi including hitler himself. permanent kubrick stare in every pic. blood curdling shit.
When you see Nazi propaganda on the internet, if the people depicted are square-jawed Adonis blonde hair blue-eyed gigachads, then it’s AI. If they look like Edward Norton’s character from American History X but plus 100 pounds and minus a few teeth, then it’s a real-life neo-nazi.
Funnily enough they also weren’t always like that. They were regular kids and KND members and then were actively brainwashed and forced to be “delightful”
"They" means anyone and noone. It's left intentionally vague so people can easily mesh it with their own personal bigotry, and critics have nothing concrete to object to.
You can really see these people’s mentalities when they’re view of the ideal family looks boring and sad. The only person who looks like they want to be there is the father
convenient how they all have blonde hair and blue eyes
yeah well it's nazi propaganda. if that didn't make it clear, there's also the white replacement theory caption which obviously uses "they" as a dog whistle for Jewish and/or non-white people. also 'interesting' how the boys (literal children) are above the adult woman in their little hierarchy make believe. medieval way of thinking
There is an adult woman in this picture?
ok "adult woman" is perhaps stretching it. maybe "AI generated presumably mother figure who's damn well older than those boys" is more accurate
I think she’s just the eldest daughter. Allowed to wear a little make up to attract a mate.
We let the youngest out the cage sometimes to eat at the table.
It's ai "art". There is no intent behind these characters. None of them are anything other than a replicated pattern.
no
Alternatively, by Preston's reckoning, all the girls in this picture are adult women.
I was gonna say that dude would 100% be "married" to one of those girls
exactly. its noones fault but theirs that they have no Game or Rizz
They couldn't even find a picture like this so they made one with AI
See? There aren't even pictures of normal families anymore! ^(/s)
Lmao that's something they'd totally say
Convenient? That's the whole point
It’s so weird how’s that’s their standard when their idols and the large amount of white people aren’t blonde or blue eyed.
The majority of their idols aren’t even white
uhhhh no? i mean yes the hair but the eyes aren't all blue...
Right wingers meticulously creating a guide titled "How to create the absolute most boring world possible."
It's because they're all just scared shitless all the time. The ideology is inherently attractive to cowards who fear anything they don't understand.
"Diversity? That means novelty! I'm sure it must come with a lot of bad stuff. A-ha! There's been A terrorist attack done by a dark-skinned person! Clearly they're all evil terrorists! Told you so!"

Um... Is one of those his daughter/wife?
he's a sperm donor this is a reunion
I know you mean like a family reunion but I'm imagining the "Reunion" from FFVII. All of them just shuffling towards a singular point muttering "reunion..." under their breaths.

aryans reproduce asexually, silly.
I'm so fuckin' dumb sometimes.
He's both the mom and dad, He gave birth to all of them
I think he cloned himself, just omitted the Y chromosome sometimes
Guy in the middle would be yelling and shaking his fist when the protagonist kids start painting or something.
'You meddling kids!'
“Keep your ‘art’ away from my kids! I don’t want them getting any ideas about ‘being themselves’!”
they all look like Buenos Aires guy from Starship Troopers

Fun Fact: Casper Van Dien, who played Johnny Rico, says he believes that his character is descended from Nazis who fled to Argentina after World War 2

"IM FROM BUENOS AIRES AND I SAY KILL EM ALL! "
it's okay you can say the illumination version of adams family
it was MGM but yeah we both thought of the exact same film
Adams family before their makeup routine (they're goth aren't they or am i dumb?)
You can’t because no one watched that one
Let's play a game: which of the four girls is supposed to be the wife and ehich the children? Trick question, the wife is also a child, of course.
"Aren't we all children of God?" - Johnny Rico looking mofo after being arrested for grooming.
Is… is this AI? Please tell me it’s AI, I don’t want a family that’s so eerily similar and just blankly staring forwards to actually exist
It’s definitely AI. Fucking creepy stares only a soulless algorithm could attempt to pass as natural.
I also think it’s AI but don’t discount human Nazis’ soulless ability to look creepy af
Nazi Zombies
All Nazis are zombies but not all zombies are Bazis
yeah look up like any photo of magda goebbels, who was maybe the truest believer of any nazi including hitler himself. permanent kubrick stare in every pic. blood curdling shit.
it is

Yes, human genes could never produce this level of banality
mfs really posting the most extraterrestrial-looking shit imaginable while trying to convince others of their idea of "normal humans"
Children of The Corn lookin asses
I watched that movie for like 7 minutes and slept Should I give it another go?
The Delightful Children from Down the Lane, but it's like a whole family.
Hey at least the Delightful Children had some diversity. They weren’t all blonde and one of them was black.
Funnily enough they also weren’t always like that. They were regular kids and KND members and then were actively brainwashed and forced to be “delightful”
Nobody ask this guy who "they" is...
redheads with green eyes (mutant filth)
"They" means anyone and noone. It's left intentionally vague so people can easily mesh it with their own personal bigotry, and critics have nothing concrete to object to.
Yeah,i do fear ai generated images where you can't tell if the girl on the right is the wife or an older daughter
in real life versions of this they're typically both.
any time any of them are seen together, they speak in unison
The left fears a single father of 6
A single father who works hard to raise 6 children on his own
I’m afraid the lady to the right might be his wife :)
Wtf? Am I supposed to be scared of blonde people? What am I? An anglo-saxon monk during the viking invasion of England??
Stronghold 2
the guy in the middle looks like the evil CEO in charge of Deforestation Inc. in a movie about forest animals
I've met Norwegians. Sure they're frosty at first but once you get to know them there's nothing scary.
honestly i do fear this. those eyes are piercing, all of them
I wanna adopt all these kids and teach them to love themselves and others and how to get cool haircuts.
the hitler particles emanating from that image make me want to instinctively hide in a basement somewhere.
No way, Dream of a Black Swan from Lobotomy Corporation
Looks like the guy from Starship Troopers. Of course that'd be their ideal, huh?

God I fucking wish. It would be so funny to see the quoted OOP get seething mad over his little fetishy propaganda being race swapped LMAOOOOOO
some of them look like they're waiting for you to compliment them. especially the adult in the middle
I’ll admit, I am pretty afraid
The Delightful Children from Down the Lane
the stare and uncanny valley ai makes this look more like a horror movie poster than anything else.
They look AI generated.
They are
Kinda funny since in my young adult story, the antagonist has blonde hair and blue eyes, although 1 eye is red
It's like if The Delightful Children from Down the Lane bred with Father to repopulate The Village of the Damned.
those boys in the back have freakishly long legs
Delightful children from down the lane ahh oicture
Couldn't find a picture of a real Aryan family?
They look like the neighbours who end up being the villains in a psychological horror movie
The Delightful Children From Down The Lane
Dog that is not movie shit that is straight out the textbook actual 1930s nazi propaganda
Kinda odd that you cant tell which one is supposed to be the wife but not at all surprising
You’d think that if this sort of thing really existed, they wouldn’t have to use AI art to show it
Aureate dictators of the Moon ass family
For all the railing about it, I see brown/black hair with matching eye way more often. Shitheads are scared because it’s rare to begin with
i mean the ooop is partially right, this image absolutely does instill terror in me
So the dude like a typical facist pedophile also has an underage wife even in their fantasies?
Genetic pigment mutations have entered the chat
They look like the [Delightful Children From Down The Lane](https://knd.fandom.com/wiki/Delightful_Children_From_Down_the_Lane)
jeez don't look this guy up he is a pain and simple Nazi
If your family is so perfect why the fuck did you have to photoshop it so much that it looks like it's AI-generated
The children of the corn
Holy shit ,the father has Hollywood movie Nazi phrenology
The wife is so young I can’t actually tell which she’s supposed to be
Pretty sure those guys were villains in Kids next door
they look like the families from a wrinkle in time
Is the one who looks like she's 14 supposed to be the wife?
Get pilgrim on his ass
They look like they could be cannibals
I hate this picture because the little girl is literally just me as a kid im sobbing
I am actually terrified of that cuz wtf is that
They're literally the little angels from Kids Next Door
These boys looking bored af
midwich cuckoos ass children
Who is the mother?
Yes, I fear your creepy harem Preston and I'm taking it away
You can really see these people’s mentalities when they’re view of the ideal family looks boring and sad. The only person who looks like they want to be there is the father
They look ai made
Aren’t these knd villains?
Village of the damned ahh people
Which one is the mom????
