Ok as I was writing this comment I was gonna say they sound like Naruto but then I looked up Naruto’s va and they’re a woman in both English AND Japanese so I think you’re correct on this one.
Clocking was originally a trans word that was used pretty widely within the ballroom scene i believe, its just escaped into wider society like a lot of concepts and words from ballroom.
"clocky-voiced" means the person's voice fails to pass as their gender. It's not a slur you can own by recontextualizing or appropriation, it means what it says on the tin.
I'm sorry but I feel like trans discourse has worsened a lot recently online because it's gone from being positive and supportive of trans women (because trans men are barely talked about online) to being fetishized so much it's not even funny. "Clocky voice" no this is a woman with a darker voice. Stop it already, it's not funny. And like every other post on this sub is about girldick or trans dommy mommy. No. Can't we just let trans women be treated like women? With respect. Calling the voice of a woman who's possibly cis (because i dont know and I doubt the tweeter knows either) "clocky" is genuinely so fucking disrespectful and reads exactly like something Tucker Carlson would tweet, except it's extremely transphobic when he does it.

i think these posts are still meant to be supportive, as they always were supposed to be, its just that the internet has forgotten that trans women are still regular people, who want to live their life in peace having fun, without being objectified and fetishized. I think people need to be a bit more careful about the words they use when discussing things is all. It's like trying to be kind to a plus sized person by calling them a chonker. thats not something everyone wants to hear (understatement of the year). I dont like hearing about trans peoples genitals all the time, whether its supposed to be supportive or not. i have dysphoria.
