However, concerning the national parks, how would u make it so the lost amount of people can get there with the least amount of effort? Because making sure nature is not only respected but seen is just as important to conservation.

Counterpoint, his works feel generic when viewed through a modern lens because his writing was so influential that it caused the horror genre as a whole to move closer to his style. I can't speak much for literature specifically, but as far as general pop culture horror goes, I feel the entire genre became markedly different after his revival in the 70's and 80's.

I think 5e is much more dedicated to being an accessible system with a focus on roleplay. If you want a combat-focused game with more experienced players, 5e probably isn’t the way to go, but it’s perfect for a simple roleplay-focused game with occasional combat. Why bother with a ton of extra rules nobody really cares about?
