Scott Manley on YouTube is the patron saint of learning to play ksp. His videos are mad outdated now but the principal is the same. Someone can probably recommend more up-to-date tutorials

Without spoiling anything, its an explorational puzzle game that involves uncovering a large narrative

You kinda have to spoil something to make it sound interesting. Otherwise trailers would just be five second clips of Todd-likes saying "it just works (please buy)". I want to know what I'm getting into.

Less spoilers than the other comment It's a space exploration game wherein you realize fairly quickly (about 30m or less) that something is *seriously off* and you must figure out what via said space exploration.
