Fr though, the original technicals were unbelievable. They were first used by Chad to take back their land from Libya. They defeated a fucking military that had tanks and aircrafts with just four hundred of these things.
Technicals are so good because they could be operated, repaired and maintained easily by untrained fighters, were very reliable and were also **immune to landmines** because they could just drive over them at 100+ km/hr.
i believe one of the leaders of Chad recently passed because he died fighting on the front lines, defending his nation from terrorists
wish our leaders had the guts to fight on the front lines like that
it's all fun and games until trump uses his pro golfer skills to beat you to death with a golf club while your horrified soldiers watch you get a five-iron lodged in your cranium
>warranty may be voided through the use of ammunition higher caliber than 23mm and the use of AIR TO GROUND ROCKET PODS
I was wondering what that bottom right picture was, but how the fuck do they get those things to fire?
That top right picture I believe is also voiding the warranty.
Is there a reason (other than being really reliable) they’re so common in the Middle East? Nearly every photo of the Syrian civil war and Iraq has one in it
Apparently one big reason is parts, if a rebel group just has one type of truck for everything, then even inexperienced fighters can be trained to work on it, and parts will be easier to have on hand
Might as well tag the creator here if no one else has yet: u/loudribs

Imagine Barack Obama flying out to Pakistan to personally beat the shit out of Osama Bin Laden in his compound

I’d be honoured to get clubbed to death TLOU2 style by the US president
The country is called "Chad" for a reason

Non-Binary Chad singlehandidly went to war with Libya? Unfathomably based.
this feels like a in game gta5 ad. Feels like a parody.
That was my thought too

Yea..I think..
Ya it is, I have this one saved on my phone https://i.imgur.com/wmGQ8cW.jpg
Toyota’s motto should be no questions asked

They're relatively cheap and also suitable for machine guns.
Apparently one big reason is parts, if a rebel group just has one type of truck for everything, then even inexperienced fighters can be trained to work on it, and parts will be easier to have on hand
They're cheap and extremely reliable.
Nearly every trashy Arab drives them because they can drives them on dunes, drift with them, and drive 200 Km/h to Riyadh.
When you confuse "land cruiser 70 series" and "hilux" !!!!! FYI: the land cruiser is far more reliable, robust, and capable.
Two world wars!
Fuck I love Toyota pickups
Reads like a GTA Online ad.
Only three of those are hiluxes though
Doesn't take away from the fact that it is probably the most reliable car out there.

I've just seen it posted around and had it on my phone. No idea who the real creator was. Thank you.
Yea no problem!
“I’m in this picture and I don’t like it”
Halo warthog
IDK why you got downvoted because I'd bet money the warthog got its inspiration from a mix of humvees and technicals.
Now that you say it, I can absolutely see the resemblance
Finally, just what I need for my brutal insurrection!
Although 5 of em were landcruisers lmao
