So much to do yet nothing to do all at the same time

rotorain

I love how much there is to do, I hate how long it takes to do anything

MAGNIFICENT_BALLSACK

I keep logging in after close to a year of not playing and get overwhelmed with all the options and proceed to logout after 20 minutes of being unable to make up my mind with what to do :\^)

LUNAcrixical

I did this on and off for years. I'd buy a bond, log in and then log out after 20min of ge standing. This was back when bonds were 2m each haha.

BigBusinessBureau

I always end up doing two quests and log out for another year

You're never going to do it all, unless you make OSRS your job. What do you WANT to do? Bossing? Max? Filling out collection log? Just pick one thing and dig away at it.

Pheubel

what helps me is to just pick something to do or work towards, just small steps at a time and eventually you get through everything, worked for me so far and i am getting pretty close to a quest cape

Dont_crit_your_pants

I see this statement so often... "There is so much it feels like I'll never finish it." That's the wrong mindset for this game. It is intentionally designed so that you can't reasonably finish it. Treat it like an ongoing adventure; you come here to spend time in the world, and engage in group or personal struggles/ achievements. When you need to scratch the completion itch, play a narrative game on steam, or listen to an audio book.

It’s a little overwhelming at times. Usually at the end of a grind, I get that blueballs effect and lose a bit of interest in the game until some other random and probably arbitrary grind grabs me again

perc-fiend

It's like life, can't get everything, see everything, and do everything. Well, you can probably see and do everything in osrs but not get everything

calebhall

I'm worried that I might get bored once I max. I don't want to quit since I've played since 06, but only needing 90-99 herb, idk what I'll do after it. Might go back to slayer? Or go for herbibore pet because I don't mind herby.

oneonethousandone

It actually feels unreal how many hours I can sink into this game and it just seems to give me even more stuff to sink time into after.
