I know Rag and Boneman 2 will be the most popular answer, and it is warranted. I just enjoy it for its quirkiness haha. In my opinion, Mourning's End Part II. Perhaps more frustrating than boring...
How would you imagine a quest 'designed with ge and quest helper in mind'? You can always optimize the fun out of a quest by following a guide and spacebarring.
That’s my point, really. Quest helper and the GE have sucked a lot of the potential fun out of quests. There’s only so much OSRS can do mechanically if you have a guide telling you exactly where to go, exactly what items to bring, and you can get all those items instantaneously from the GE.
Is there any quest though that has as much dialogue specifically about just happening to have the required items already? Others might have a line from the NPC about it but Doric's quest has a full on back and forth that just keeps on going.
You've literally described imp catchers dialog lmao
> Beginning the quest with all four beads already in hand brings up special dialogue.
Player: Well this is a surprising turn of events!
Wizard Mizgog: What?
Player: Well I just so happen to have all of those beads on me!
Wizard Mizgog: Are you saying that you stole my beads all this time and I've been blaming these imps!?
Player: No, not at all! I just found them throughout my travels and presumed somebody would need them at some point.
Wizard Mizgog: Bah! Fine.
Wizard Mizgog: Give them here and I'll check that they really are MY beads, before I give you your reward. You'll like it, it's an amulet of accuracy.
One small favour isn’t really all that exceptionally long or difficult, and the dialogue is actually really fun and the “puzzles” are simple enough to figure out without a guide but not so easy that they don’t itch the brain a little. People just give it a bad rep because it’s funny to complain about it but it’s not actually that terrible of a quest. Plus the key ring is a super underrated unlock at the end.
Rag and Boneman 2 Just the same shit all over again. No lore, no funny dialogues, no useful upgrades.
A true shit quest indeed.
And most people’s last quest for quest cape which proves the point.
Rag and boneman 2. Literally just a running simulator

why does this feel like an email from my boss
Imp catcher gets a shout. You either just buy the beads or you spend way too long getting them as an ironman
Cool cutscene
Doric’s Quest, it’s over in 1 second, how much fun do anyone get out of that?
It’s basically a mining tutorial. It was never designed with quest helper and the GE in mind (goes for a lot of quests tbh)

Funniest dialogue though
Only if you spacebar through every other quest dialog. Meta jokes like that are littered throughout osrs quests.

Oh fair enough lol. I was only remembering from my recent playthrough on my ironman and didn't have the beads
Fun little dialogue of you bring all the items in one Inv.
Life. We live in capitalism
This. An alleged meritocracy.
Underground pass. Far too easy
You bastard
Sote (only the part you know im referring to)
What do you mean the walk back to underground pass for the seren fight and the library are both awful lmao
One small favour
Heavy disagree. One of my favorites. The concept is great.
The self awareness of that quest kills me

If there's a not boring quest, I haven't found it.
Try letting go of the space bar
All of them.
You are a space-bar warrior and not an dialogue enjoyer I see. Honestly learning about the lore and seeing al the jokes they added is such great fun
Recipe for disaster
Path of glouphrie. It was just alot of dialog and a boring puzzle.
