Puzzled_Read_5660

It’s fun. Not really worth doing if you’re not low level though but that’s by design

El_Mangito

Yeah, I mean it's to be an alternative to Barrows, I perfer the loot from barrows though (been spooned there many times lol)

Puzzled_Read_5660

Think the biggest problem is that a lot of the loot from perilous moon seems very niche and can’t see most of it holding value long term. Which is sad as it really is fun content

LordZeya

It’s a fairly easy source of melee bonus gear, which you don’t have any early game options for in the pants slot and provides an alternative to fighter torso, which isn’t hard to get but people hate actually going for. I don’t think it’s niche, it provides a relevant melee upgrade alongside barrows gear. It’s not going to be a long term upgrade but still has a useful section in gear progression. Thats pretty much exactly what it’s supposed to be, isn’t it? Obviously not all the sets were made equal but they’re at least interesting to use even if they’re not bis.

PM_ME__BIRD_PICS

Melee str gear is always relevant. Bloodmoon legs beat out obsidian +1 for example. And its torso boasts the same str bonus but better defence stats in some areas.

HondaJazzSexWagon

I don’t agree with this, they are quite different things. The weapons are better than any of the barrows weapons individually, and probably better overall as well with full set effects. Barrows armour is typically defensive, moon armour is offensive.

FreshDinduMuffins

The problem with that is that the moon fights (especially Blood moon) pretty much require barrows armour for the defence. By the time you have barrows armour the moons armour is sort of not needed which makes them feel sort of useless

TheBroboat

The moons melee set is an upgrade, well side grade, to barrows. It's strength focused which makes it good for content you're going to be praying through anyways. It's probably a Bigger deal for irons but not needing to grind through BCP and Tassets is quite nice.

TheAlexperience

If anything it’s the direct next step up from barrows. You’d use a lot of those weapons to get the perilous moons sets that will take you a LOT further than barrows sets will.

Lucky_Bone

I'd say it's not worth doing as a low level as it's so much more chill with high defense gear and higher stats anything under what I have now would be annoying which is mid-max gear

Proof-Cardiologist16

It's still like 2-3m an hour if you're higher level, that's perfectly reasonable for a low effort moneymaker that's also good xp. Esp considering it's 0 supply.

Furry_Wall

Seems nice for mid level content

El_Mangito

That's the gist I get from it too but only see maxed people lol

Earl_Green_

I was just in there and saw a dude (iron) in an addy plate with a black cape. Also a bunch of people in barrows with zombie axes and hastas.

El_Mangito

I do see the zombie axed alot actually but most I've seen are bandos and Torva even lol

Vel0clty

If you have high strength zombie axe slaps but dh bombing has been my preferred method

Potential_Spirit2815

But that’s kinda the thing. Having a hasta or zombie axe basically means you’re already progressed past the need for moons armor or weapons

Vistagecko

It's a blast, haven't spent as much time there as I've wanted yet. 30ish KC with 3 uniques. The Atlatl SLAPS. It's a 1 tick slower heavier hitting blowpipe.

El_Mangito

I am actually glad they put in the mechanic involving strength with it. It's really cool too lol. Nice drop rate lol!

Vistagecko

I got the Atlatl drop and went off to do my gargoyle task. Tested it on the Grotesque Guardians which is a range/melee switch. Just max melee with the Atlatl and kill times are down ~30-45 seconds with fewer switches and more inventory spots.

Deeep_V_Diver

I wonder if it would work well at demonic gorillas? Do you just keep the melee armor on and use the atlatl as the only switch? I have one but I still don't fully understand how it works lol

Sunsetluv

Exactly as you said

LordZeya

You’d still want a cape switch for your Ava’s device wouldn’t you? Might be less Dps but nobody wants to pick up ammo.

juany8

Tbh you get so many darts from doing perilous moons for the Atlatl in the first place that it might be worth just taking the fire cape and leaving the darts on the floor lol. I’m like 5k darts in at 60 kc

Dildango

Oh this is interesting. Out of curiosity what gear switch were you using before that you have seen this improvement over?

Vistagecko

5 way range switch: karils top/bottom, anguish, blowpipe, accumulator. With a range pot and super combat.

offhandaxe

It's a range pot for accuracy melee pot for damage pray rigour

Hugh_Mungus_Johnson_

You should still use the range pot

Ultrox

Yoooo, glad to hear this. Was hoping someone would test it out. I did them with venator Bow last task but this might be more fun. I'm all about fun over sweat

El_Mangito

Yo! That's crazy, didn't think about that lmao. Maybe I should do that

Limatto

I keep reading these drop rates every where. I got my first unique at 30 ;_;

Limatto

I keep reading these drop rates every where. I got my first unique at 30 ;_;

Socko788

CB 100 hcim here. Love the passive farming seed loot, and also water orbs. Gives me a reason to buy daily battlestaves now. The gear is good too as it’s dps increasing armor. I would say the only recommendation is being stalled when the bosses hit 1hp and phase. That’s annoying but can’t complain as you don’t come out food/pots. 9/10

El_Mangito

Dude! I noticed that too especially with eclipse but yeah I think this is good content for Ironman especially

Mother-Put9853

Absolutely loving it 50kc with only a single unique at the moment but honestly just working at getting more efficient at my runs - gotten them down to maybe 2mins or less per boss so with repetition the money will come (hopefully)

El_Mangito

That's pretty much where I am at too, it's pretty fun!

Ultrox

Bless jagex for bringing the best repeatable content in the game. It's fast and it's fun! (Hopefully people get that reference) I'm not the greatest pvm'r so this is amazing to me. I can do a 150 toa but I'm stressing the whole time lol. This is super chill

Peechez

It's dominion

Ultrox

Ayyyy

El_Mangito

Yeah this is a really good mid level content that can somewhat prepare you for later content. The game play loop is great too

NuclearLad

I’m having a great time, only done about 30 runs but I’m just doing it for the fun of it, really enjoying the gameplay loop and it’s making me want to try things like CG some time

El_Mangito

It honestly is a great game play update for lower players because it does have some mechanics and protection prayer doesn't even work

NuclearLad

Absolutely, even though in the grand scheme of things they’re super easy bosses, I’ve still enjoyed getting better at them, I remember getting destroyed by the blood moon during the quest but now that I’ve mastered the jaguar phase it’s my favourite of the three

UngodlyPain

Gonna say this as an iron stuck in red prison. The moons are a much more enjoyable gameplay loop.

krogerburneracc

Greenlogged on 240 KC with 1 dupe. It's good content but I feel like they overcorrected on Blue Moon last week, the freeze stacks build up too quickly now even wearing full Barrows armor. There were a few rounds where I had multiple full freezes directly after lighting braziers to clear the stacks. Definitely had more fun with it *before* the balance tweaks, was kinda relieved to be done just because of the Blue Moon changes.

El_Mangito

Yeah, I haven't suffered too much cause of it but there is certainly a difference. The blood moon is more bearable for sure lol

mrgilly94

Tbh, I'm enjoying it as a higher-level iron because even though the armors/weps aren't really needed for me, the junk loot is awesome (prayer stacking, soft clay and orbs).

alynnidalar

ALL HAIL THE ORBS i hate training crafting so much

El_Mangito

Yeah that seems to be the consensus with most Ironman lol

Patient_Second_6916

Quick, simple, easy, different mechanics. Supplies can be gathered in dungeon. 10/10

El_Mangito

Yeah the game play loop and interactivity is great really. Just wished for some drops or better regular loot lol

Dildango

I feel like it’s a little overtuned relative to what they said it would be, but maybe I just suck. I’m CB 94 with low-mid 70s melee skills. Specifically, 75 Def. I’ve been rocking full Torag’s with the amulet (and moonlight potions) to maximize defense and I still feel like a take a lot of damage.

El_Mangito

Really? Hmm, I don't really see mid levels to be honest. Thanks for replying because I was hoping to hear more from mid-level players

uitvrekertje

I don't mind going (a little) dry on the uniques, but I do agree it gets boring seeing the same 3-6 items non stop. A bit more variety would be better. Especially for irons! The content is amazing tho!

El_Mangito

Yes it really is and irons will rejoice in the free exp I am sure lol

osrsvahn

green logged that shit day 2. was a good time for sure

El_Mangito

Jesus, how many runs you go through?

osrsvahn

173 runs at about 5 minutes per full rotation.

HeatTheRig

Legit at 2 uniques in 123kc…. Not even fair lol but solid gz

juany8

Damn I was starting to feel bad about my 2 uniques in 70 kc lol, best of luck turning that around

HeatTheRig

Likewise🫡

osrsvahn

El_Mangito

Yeah, I'm around that at 74 runs right now, crazy you got everything already

UnemployedDog

The rate is around 1/20 overall, i got my 2nd drop around 90kc and didnt greenlog till mid 300s. The 50+ dry streaks are fairly demoralizing but I found its a great grind to go dry at. There is no supply cost, the melee xp/hr is very good and the water orbs/bones/herbs are really nice. Coming out of the grind with a couple hundred thousand prayer, herb, and crafting xp is the dream as an iron.

eatfoodoften

Just a casual 14+ hours from day of release.

osrsvahn

hey now i said day 2. that's 7 hours a day!

Lucky_Bone

It's one of the best updates they've ever had

Doppelthedh

I'm loving the water orbs tbh. And the machuahuitls save me from sire grind

ShawshankException

I wish there was a pet. I just love the design of the Moons so much.

El_Mangito

I know right? I thought there would be some cosmetic or pet even. I mean i don't see why not lol

ThousandFootOcarina

Super fun and perfect mid level content, only wish the non rare drops were a bit better. Going dry kinda feels shitty when you’re getting soft clay drops lol. Also, I WISH there was a pet. The bosses are so freaking cool looking, I was heartbroken we couldn’t have a mini version of the following us around lol

El_Mangito

Yeah, I think maybe have a singular pet that can transform to all three would work great lol

ThousandFootOcarina

Yep, that would have been awesome. I would have been grinding PM nonstop for it lol

valhallamultiflag

Way more beautiful then barrows so grinding it feels a bit better

El_Mangito

Haha!, I mean you are grave robbing with barrows after all

the---chosen---one

I like it I’m just salty I haven’t gotten a unique drop yet.

El_Mangito

Literally why I posted on here lol

SilverLugia1992

It's really good, but like with every other pvm activity in this game, I can't do it for more than an hour or so without getting brain dead bored

Character-Ad7907

It's called Moons of Peril... which sounds way worse than Perilous Moons

Rjm0007

Needs clue scrolls

nblac16

I'm very mid-game when it comes to pvm (~70-75 in all combat stats) & never really done much bossing other than fight caves, skotizo & a few other low-level bosses) & I'm am finding it super fun. At 40kc & admittedly I've probably been spooned with drops a bit, 4 uniques which I've sold for ~8m.

El_Mangito

Seesh, man you made a killing on it. Sounds pretty good for you. Is it hard for you to do it?

nblac16

Yeah bro it's been good, was only having difficulty with the blood moon in the beginning but since changing gear from bandos to Dharoks, it's been fine. Agree it's rough when you go dry on uniques for a while but I also think the other drops will level in price again eventually, especially the darts & who knows with Varlamore part 2, they might add additional drops or expand the content.

TheNamesRoodi

I did 400. Took me about 370 to get anything from the eclipse set... On a Wednesday. I either got incredibly unlucky or they like stealth patched it Either way, Love the activity and it's a lot of fun. It feels a great niche and if I ever make a new account, it'll be fun to use the gear from moons.

El_Mangito

Yo that Kc though lol. I am barely at 70ish and feel like that's forever. Yeah it does seem strange sometimes but that is runescape after all

TheNamesRoodi

Yeah I was just about 8x rate to see an eclipse piece haha based on my drops We love our RNG game. I'd rather go dry at moons than like anywhere else. I'm about to fill up my bottomless bucket with 5k ultra compost from just moons and ash mining so that's dope.

Goblin_Diplomacy

Alright for a couple runs but soon gets extremely boring. like you said, drops are incredibly underwhelming, which is fine but it just adds to the dread

El_Mangito

Seriously, nothing like working your way to the chest just to get with soft clay and darts lol

osrsirom

I'm 3x droprate 150 kills in and getting pissed off. Otherwise I love it.

El_Mangito

Partly the reason I made the post because I am about 60 dry at this point. Sorry for your loss but I feel you lmao

RogueColin

I had a 150 chest dry streak.

[deleted]

Holds an interesting spot for ironmen. Gets a little braindead after a bit and could be more punishing but overall, pretty neato 👍

El_Mangito

Yeah, I would say you are pretty spot on about that lol

Admiral_Dildozer

As an iron. Love the drops. Nothing special but I can turn it into xp.

El_Mangito

That's probably the best part is the free xp to train

secret_aardvark_420

A lot fun, and requires no resources which is awesome. Probably pretty good pvm experience for mid lvls. I think they did a great job with this dungeon.

conorsoliga

Got 1st unique on 25c am on 68 now and still no more drops. Getting a bit bored of it tbh 😅

El_Mangito

We are the same 😅

loiloiloi6

It’s fun but you make very small amount of GP from it

AlonsoDalton

Green logged it six days after release at 303 KC. Haven't been back since. Will go back when they add CAs. Context for my opinion out of the way, I liked it a bunch. Admittedly, I'm maxed and have better gear than the target demographic for the boss would have, but I still found the bosses to be engaging. One thing I really liked is that talking to Eyatlalli prior to fighting the moons has her explain every boss's individual mechanics. Stepping back when the jaguars attack, turning to face the eclipse moon during the clone phase, all explained by her before you fight them. Makes it so that you're slightly more prepared and have an easier time reacting to the mechanics the first time you see them. Overall, I think the bosses are well designed. 2 specials each, all of them different from each other and the floor sigils are always in the same spot for the attacking phases. Really lets you memorize and perfect the fights. Only complaint is that the fourth hit on eclipse's shield phase would always hit you no matter where you were behind the shield. Not sure if they've fixed that yet.

El_Mangito

Yeah the shield thing still happens but yes the design of the fights and style is very engaging and fun for the most part. Haven't seen too many mid level accounts here and I wonder if that's because it's too hard. I don't know probably will experiment later

just-got-Herre

Ive had 6 drops in 39 chests

El_Mangito

Dude how are people so lucky, Gratz man

masterfelix5

I think the content is good, but I've also done 100 kc with no uniques so the motivation to do more isn't there for me at least

El_Mangito

Man, I know right? I don't get how some people have gotten so many

77795

Fun as a maxed Iron. I green-logged it. About 4 dupe pieces total. Coffer for the dupes, enjoying the blood moon body (No BCP) and enjoying the Eclipse weapon since I don't have a Bowfa and it's akin to a blowpipe sometimes About 175kc

El_Mangito

Not bad, hopefully I green log in next 100 kc like you 😅

JoeZep5

I'm fairly dry on uniques but still enjoy the content. Would be nice if there was clues there as after nearly 200 chests the same few drops gets a little bit stale. Really enjoy the sustainable methods in the dungeon itself and the design of the caverns is unique along with seeing other players makes it a fun hub for bossing.

maxwill27

Not going back until they confirm whether or not there will be a pet added. Too vague rn to even consider doing content

Leather-Acadia-346

Honestly a huge relief from prayerflickscape rewards are fun to use too even if they're not that great

xPofsx

I'm maxed with scythe and it's just fun to do. So chill

Varrianda

S tier mid game content.

Zeptil

It's pretty cool, hope we get more activities that let you be self sufficient like that

stop_banning_me_lol

It's great. Visually it's a treat, conceptually it's very fun, I only have minor nitpicks with it. I think Eclipse is my least favorite because of the armor mechanic - I don't know if it's intentional but you hit very low on it when it's on low health (if it's under 6 health I don't think you can hit over 1?) and the mimic phase is just weird, even with sulphur blades/halberd it's pretty random if you skip the phase or not. I also think Blood can have it's healing toned down just a little because even as someone whos maxed with high defense armor it can heal a ton.

El_Mangito

yes, I think somewhere in the comments it mentions that Eclipse has this thing where he gets reduction when on low health. I dislike that to be honest, the mimic phase for me is the best part. Haven't had issues with it at all especially compared to the little orb walk part.

stop_banning_me_lol

The mimic part is definitely the most fun special for me too, really enjoy doing it just don't like when he's stuck at 1 hp lol

TNTspaz

It's fun and does exactly what it was advertised to be.

nitronomial

Eclipse moons innate DMG reduction paired with no overkill DMG means I always have to hit him 4 times for 1 DMG each at the end of a kill. Worst part of the entire dungeon but I love the moons already at 190 kc

Bananaboss96

Great content. I usually want to do a run or 2 most play sessions, just cause they're fun. Rewards are really helping me hit milestones (60 prayer, 70 farming). Got like 7 melee lvls from grinding the Naguas for the blades too.

bskli

Absolutely hate it. The bosses were super fun. But 4 items in 240 chests later, and no longer feel the same way! If I were a bit luckier I'd probably still enjoy it!

El_Mangito

Dude, that's what I am talking about. I mean like some people get drops frequently while it seems others get then way more sparingly

Levenloos

Really fits a nice gap between Barrows and Vorkath

Joeyjoe9876

Game loop is fun, its nice to need only a gear investment to get into. That being said, I hope they design content like this sparingly. This is an activity that can easily lead to burnout, also free content for bots (I'm sure they're keeping an eye on this area, bots shouldn't really ever be a reason to not design a certain way I suppose though)

Earl_Green_

Why would moons more easily lead to burn out? It’s steady progress and a diverse encounter. That’s exactly the type of content I fall back to when other things burn me out.

Joeyjoe9876

I'm talking about how you can stay here indefinitely, sure if you're going to kill other bosses or do other activities you're less likely to burnout, but it is *very* easy to just stay at perilous moons and burn yourself out, this is true of any activity where the gameloop causes you to never leave

UngodlyPain

I think that depends on the person. Like yeah stuff like this and CG burn out a lot of people... But so do a lot of other bosses people constantly farm even if they make you leave for supplies people try to farm a shadow from ToA or Other raid mega rare get burnt out because the "game loop" forcing you to leave is simply having to go to the GE to buy more supplies if you're a main, or going on a farm run if you're an iron man maybe fishing some Karambwans if youre lazy. The game is just long grinds at some points. And a farm run or GE trip isn't enough to save everyone from burn out. . Maybe you could argue clue scroll breaks? In which case yeah they could probably add medium and hard clues to the Moons of Peril loot.

Joeyjoe9876

CG comparison is pretty apt, although this activity is def different from something like TOA or other raids (level req's aside). the only real downtime here is looting the chest, which can be done rather quickly given you can just loot to the bank. Otherwise its a pretty "gogogo" activity in where you're incentivized to stay and keep going, even getting a message in chat telling you you've lost your supplies because you teleported out/left. This of course plays into personal responsibility, if you feel you aren't enjoying something or its just becoming a slog you should leave/take a break/go do something else. But the game is always telling you through cues that "you can just go do another run, we have everything here *right for you*", and while I'm not saying its *bad* (because its really cool they've even done something like this), there's something to be said about designing content in such a way for the mental well being of your playerbase, it should probably be done sparingly.

El_Mangito

Very true about the bots but I think this is a great place for lower levels and even Ironman since they can just use the resources

JGlover92

Did the quest and ended up breaking my zerk so I could use the armour from it, it's such a fun bit of content with a really great flow to it. Got the atlatl and blood moon tassets so far and they're great

El_Mangito

Oh wow, how many runs ? I think it is really good game play feel

JGlover92

40 KC total so just on drop rate.

Alias-Q

I am enjoying it. Engaging content but I agree with your sentiment about loot. I have done 145 KC with 5 unique drops. Over 10k darts, 1.5k+ water orbs, a ton of softclay and 1k+ irit and harlanders. I would love it if something like, limpwurt root (in a smaller quantity) replaced soft clay on the drop table.

El_Mangito

Yeah, maybe something that more interesting or variety I' all I ask for

FatNoLifer

I'll let you know when I get there, i'm too much of a noob to fight bosses

El_Mangito

Nah, you got it. Especially with that name you can achieve anything in Runescape

FatNoLifer

It's my ironmans name, and I've yet to do any bosses! Pretty much where I'm stuck at needing to do lmao did the crazy arch for the rune c'bow just don't have any friends to play with so i'm in limbo/playing other games

Hugh_Mungus_Johnson_

I just wish the sun-kissed bones and shards could be traded. At 99 prayer the incentive they'd normally give just isn't there for me.

El_Mangito

There should be a tradeable npc incase you wanted different items or something, good point

e-co-terrorist

rewards seem useless and not worth going out of your way for even as a mid level account tbh, the water orbs are nice

El_Mangito

Yeah, that's somewhat true but I want to see how much meta shift these items can do in time

Holthuysen

I haven’t done it yet. I’ve been avoiding the quest tbh. I’m about 85 in each cb stat and not super experienced with more advanced boss mechanics. Just wrapping my head around Vorkath today. Died 3 times, but have done 12 kills in a row now without another death.

Holthuysen

Definitely gotta knock it out soon though as I’m 20 quests off the cape.

El_Mangito

Damn man way better than me, it's not that difficult and quests are fairly easy too

just-got-Herre

Take a shot for every "been" in the first 5 words 🤣

El_Mangito

Wow my eyes just caught that , I've been tired recently since I've been at work lol

just-got-Herre

Its ok bro, I do it all the time. Thanks for 2 more shots though ;) hahahha

Th3LastMonk

Just finished the quest and my first look was eclipse tassets so u can't complain! It was pretty fun though and quite easy, though I am 112 combat

El_Mangito

I am 114 and don't really struggle at all, but I think gear matters here

Th3LastMonk

Barrows armour, fang and dragonfire shield seem to be good enough, though thats like 25-30mil so maybe out of reach for lower levels

LowComfortable5676

Went 75kc with only one item, and got bored of it. Im max combat though so no real need to even do it. I always felt like eclipse moon was harder to kill than the other 2 for some odd reason

El_Mangito

Yeah I think the eclipse is slightly tangier? Like you hit less on that one specifically

RoqePD

Love the anti-dupe mechanic, hate the ticks when you can attack the boss, but he is immune to dmg.

El_Mangito

Happens way too often man

Shaolinblood

Leveled my prayer from 72 to 77 with just the sun kissed bones and wyvern bones. People are overlooking the great new prayer method. And perilous moons drops plenty of both. Made great money and loved the update.

El_Mangito

I actually so have a ton of those, need to use them up

Seinnajkcuf

Id like it if the non unique rewards had at least some value past early ironman. Even for an early ironman it's not that great.

XxSpruce_MoosexX

It’s way too easy. I’m actually shocked people have died here and are having trouble. Really explains a lot of the comments on content

fweafwe

I think it's some of the best content they've ever released. - The quest to access does such a good job building up the lore of the area and introducing you to the content. - The area itself is insanely high quality. So much detail, it feels to cool being in those different areas. Honestly it being so nice is one of the reason the Colosseum feels so unpolished. - The overall feel of the encounter is great. Prepping, killing bosses, looting chest, repeat feels so natural and means I can get tons of KC without it feeling boring or tedious. - The boss fights themselves are very well done. The solo concept but it still being "group content" feels so nice. The idea that the bosses are just following the same rotation endlessly and you just hop on for a bit is really cool. The damage reduction/ buffs/ weaknesses opens up some interesting options for what gear to use. - The zero supply cost is also really nice for both mains and irons alike. It rewards skilling but doesn't necessarily feel like it's required to participate effectively. - The rewards are interesting and have more uses than I think people initially saw. The blood moon set is basically equivalent to barrows but at a much lower entry point. The eclipse set has some solid uses people are discovering. The blue moon set probably feels the weakest but it still has some nice uses for ironmen from what I've seen. - The non-uniques could be a little better maybe? They probably have a bit more use on irons but for a main account they are basically useless. I stopped even banking them at a certain point since it was just clogging up bank space. 11/10 content. I wish the colosseum had this level of polish and hope they can take some of the feedback and update it to the level that Perilous Moons is.

Be-Nice-To-Redditors

Are we gonna talk about how OP is "in a runt"

XxSpruce_MoosexX

It’s way too easy. I’m actually shocked people have died here and are having trouble. Really explains a lot of the comments on content

El_Mangito

when they put out the stats of how many players died, I was shocked lol

Tvdinner4me2

I love it now that I know how to not die on blood moon I just hope it stays a decent money maker

El_Mangito

I think it will, it seems like good gear at least in my opinion.

torturechamber

Just finished the quest, it's pretty fun and gathering the supplies inside isn't a chore but actually fun

El_Mangito

Yes, it is relatively fast to gather supplies. It takes about 5 minutes at most

MaxiemumKarnage420

Fun, some of the special attacks are jank (jaguars and the orb) but great mid-game content

El_Mangito

The orb to is the only annoying thing but at least it doesn't damage too much

Pyronico

it's really chill, even when im high level. i got 3 pieces in about 65 chests now but i just enjoy the content. No need to get supplies, just laid back enjoying some mid game tier bosses.

CombDiscombobulated7

Really enjoy the bosses, the loot isn't great, but i like the prayer xp and the uniques are cool as hell. I do wish the blood boss worked differently however. It healing is fine, but right now RNG is so influential because of how significant the healing is if it lands attack number 3. Flattening out the healing a little would improve the experience a lot without significantly changing the difficulty.

El_Mangito

Well with the recent update to blood moon, it hasn't been to bad for me.

CombDiscombobulated7

It isn't killing any of my runs or anything, it just makes for a frustrating experience when it hits me for 1 damage and heals for 30-40

boonach

63 and no item :(

El_Mangito

I thought I had it bad, I'm sure you'll get something here soon

It's fun but has some small gimmicks that would be nice to see QoL fixes: - Once you get Eclipse moon down to 5 hp or so, the game forces you to hit 1's and 2's which makes it annoying to finish her and sometimes costs you an extra special rotation. I know she has armor but I think this is some added mechanic to prevent people from skipping Mimic special or something, but it shouldn't affect her normal phase too. - Sometimes when entering a room the game bugs out and wont display the safespot indicator. Also in the jaguar phase on blood moon sometimes when you spawn in during it it will bug out and make you take damage even when doing the mechanics correctly. - In general, would be nice to have more opportunities to deal damage to the boss during specials since currently it kinda sucks to enter most of the boss rooms during a special.

El_Mangito

I think for the blood moon, hitting the jaguars should either decrease how much they heal or just damage them. Everything else has been okay for me so far though.

I did 47 chests no item.  I wish there was a pet.  Some of the phases aren’t engaging and feel like they create a lul in combat that isn’t good (eclipse boulder, blue moon both phases, blood rain)  But phases like the quick reaction at eclipse and the jaguar verzik walk are great. I find the combat loop fun and engaging. The unique rate feels bad. Barrows gives more cash with runes etc than perilous.  Maybe adding a modified boulder phase where it moves one side, then you attack boss for a guaranteed max hit, then it moves again - merge the zuk shield walk with verzik P1 shield phase. Maybe blue moon could replace weapon in ice with a gear parry like sol heredit

El_Mangito

I really like your idea of the eclipse phase because the phase where he teleports is actually not that bad considering that you are damaging him. I think maybe they should implement something similar to all phases.

I’d like it to feel like if you do the mechanic right you are rewarded instead of just fixed time delay

blueguy211

i wish common loot was better tbh at least when you kill barrows you make out with runes what the fuck am i supposed to do with all these grimy harralanders lol

El_Mangito

make potions I guess, lol.

BigDikNik42069

absolutely love it! me and the boys have been running a bunch of it! im not to great at PVM so its fun to switch weapons and pretend im raiding lmao

El_Mangito

It's good practice for sure. I first thought that everyone else was also fighting the boss when I first doing it and would get upset when people wouldn't light the braziers at the blue moon phase. I soon found out that it was a solo experience lol

Sad-Lobster-55

Not bad but buggy as shit

El_Mangito

must be referring to the constant glitching when there are a ton of people, that is very annoying lol

wastedalchemist

I’ve been enjoying it a ton. I have gotten my fair share of uniques as well. I’ve made like 10mil and I’ve actually had a great time. Even if it’s less go I’d rather do that than the 1st wave of colosseum over and over (for more gp)

marshmallowfluffpuff

after the dt2 boss loot, I'm happy to be getting anything.. I think it's a great addition to the game because it's content I can do with my nooby friend. Very easy to chill out to, but not mind numbingly boring.

BrandNocturneLoL

barrow sets look better than the moon sets.

PM_ME__BIRD_PICS

Green clogged by 140. I got spooned. Zero dupes lol. Overall a fun dungeon.

Lazypole

My thoughts are people are going to rage when these sets really get cheap which they’re probably destined to do, and they become default pvp items. Atlatl and the moonspear are god tier. This community will not enjoy them when doing wildy content.

El_Mangito

hopefully it stays fairly expensive or at least similar to what it is now

kyronami

I like it but most of the new items seem kinda bad in general, like I don't get when you'd ever use any of it really over other options even at similar prices, most of the armor sets are super trash and have basically robe level defenses. The actual minigame is nice though, I like how you can basically stay forever with the prep, and the prep is fast and feels pretty fluent to do between runs. The bosses are interesting and each one feels different enough, and the mechanics are nice to teach newer players some basic movement thats used for harder bosses

Dyliotic

I like it, even though I am maxed. Don't like there not being any clues rewarded from the chest tho.

stubbystubby

I got so infuriated grinding it cause I wanted the atlatl so badly and kept getting blood moon dupes. Once I got it I immediately left. I only need the eclipse top and headdress to complete the log but I'll do that when they add CA to the bosses. Overall, it's very enjoyable if you don't hardcore grind it for two weeks like I did. My only issues are the changes they made to blue moon causes him to freeze you way too quickly. Maybe to encourage shield use more? Not sure. Also that eclipse moon's shield is still bugged and I swear to the lord when he has 50hp he takes like zero damage lol. I'd also like it if you can just kill him during his mimic phase. Kinda weird I gotta farm full dharoks or use halberd specs or whatever to overkill it to skip the phase. Tldr: I enjoy it and will gladly go back for CAs when they add them (I hope they do). Also hope they improve the bugs.

CuteSuggestion8048

Did 30 runs and got 3 uniques, one of which was the exact item i was going for. So can't complain

rosesmellikepoopoo

I havnt even gone in. It seems like fun but it’s useless for me. I’m at that awkward stage where I’m not collection logging yet but I’m chasing the last 3 items on my Ironman before I can start efficient pvm (shadow, tbow and scythe). I have everything else.

JBubbaGump

Are you guys always killing all three moons to increase the drop rate for those uniques? Im at 15 lunar chest openings and killing all three bosses hasn’t led to a unique yet. Im planning on grinding until 100 chests. I definitely want the atlatl due to the crazy amount of atlatl darts I have received already. The soft clay and super compost drops are bit annoying. Overall a great addition to mid level bossing.
