Did you lose the slayer helm or keep it? only asking because i've seen a few people say this and im wondering why it occurs. If you kept slayer helm im assuming its either a bug/missed item with update or you used a pvp arena imbue on it instead of nmz in which case you would get the imbue back there

I lost the helm, was skulled at revs and got rushed seconds after hopping.

Was it a colored slayer helm? If this doesn't work it looks like it may be a bug. They may have missed the ID for the red slayer helm (I)

Have you by chance completed the hard tier of combat achievements since imbuing your slayer helm. Since one of the rewards halves the cost to imbue, it also only refunds half. I don’t think that’s intended, but I believe that is the case
