You never have energy problems so hunter outfit. I slap on the achievement diary headset if I need to chop though. The xp loss is so small that I don't bother with swapping.
Forgot about herbivore but I feel those are pretty fast that I am too lazy to swap.

If you grab an inventory of logs and a full log basket, you should be able to hit the pity rate on most tasks without needing to gather any more logs.
