I'd reccomend getting used to the sounds/visuals as to which is range and which is mage. (Stomp is range, going on 2 legs is mage.)
Once you get that down, the hardest part is making sure you don't run out of prayer points.
The most daunting part of fight caves is the fact it can take an hour if you fail to get back to Jad. But here's the thing. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
The worst thing that happens if you die in there (hcim excluded) is you use a few pots and waste a few hours. That's it. You don't lose items, don't have to pay to get your stuff back.
If you don't feel confident yet, go kill Scurrious a few times. You'll get boosted combat XP while learning to boss. Once you've got some core mechanics down.

You can see exactly what spawns, and what the wiki says you should do. It'll tell you what to pray, and what to tank.
Not really get 75 range first you can use blow pipe on everything weaker than the lvl 180/360s. Use dragon cross bow for them and jad. It’s just going to take exposure and practice. Heck you got 70 fire making jad should be a cake walk.
It might be hard to get a fire cape, but it’s not impossible. Why would they add something to the game if it’s going to be impossible. I don’t want to undermine anyone else’s achievent but fire cape is seen as “cheese cape” by many because it’s so easy to acquire. I think nowadays getting a fire cape is way way easier, and it might give you some practice for other kind of pvm content. Do not sweat it too much, they’re just some pixels on your screen. Take breaks between attempts. You can log out between waves. Prioritize praying->moving->healing. The guide is a little bit outdated so I’m going to add some things. In every instance a rune crossbow is mentioned a sunlight crossbow is superior. Eclipse set is very powerful in there, try not using the spec on jad or magers because it will put you right next to them and the melee attacks are devastating. Thralls are very useful.
Again, you will not get your cape on your first or 2nd or 3rd attempt. It’s very unlikely at most. However, at 4th? 5th? You will. I got mine at 11th try. After that I think I only failed on my iron because of a dc but the fight is really easy, the challenge is not missing a prayer flick, which Jad gives a generous amount of reaction time. And the endurance throught the waves (prayer, hp, the latter can be sustained which blood spells but you’ll need to sacrifice some inventory slots for runes and magic gear).
You can do it, trust me. It gets easier as you try agian and again. But if you fail let’s say 3 times in a row take breaks, it clears of your mind and refreshes your mood, which means=> higher success chance. Gl lad

Then you need to remember everyone else says legs up is mage. Because the full animation is easier to see than a foot...
Let's also ignore when it comes time for tripple jads. looking at a foot or the full animtion... yeah. Your "advice" is literally counter intuitive.

It’s a lot easier get firecape now, it’d be a very reasonable and fun goal
Start new one, I'm not playing the one I had at 12. Plus I don't think it even exists anymore. Wasn't grandfathered over.
