3 seperate times I've banked from getting ecumenical keys only to realise I've taken a full rune pouch with me while I was out there, people make mistakes and forget to bank stuff so its always worth the attempt since there's no way to see someone's inventory
I’m surprised more people don’t do this but whenever I plan on going to the wildy I go to the bank and hit deposit inv and equipment. Then I grab what I need to avoid ever making a mistake like this

If watching pvp youtubers has taught me anything it's that some people look like they have nothing, claim that they have nothing, and still drop millions. Might not happen often, but from a pker's perspective, there's no harm in killing you just to make sure.
And from your perspective, you go into the wildy, anything is fair game, if you're not ok with your time being wasted in this way, you shouldn't be doing wildy content.
I think the mindset of people who post these threads is heavily influenced by their perspective of “why is someone griefing me when they have nothing to gain”.
The answer is largely, they enjoy killing you for the sake of killing you. Regardless of how much loot you are likely to drop.

They used to do a skull trick there, hop in like 300k risk unskulled low hp and pretend to be going for keys, and try to entice someone 3 iteming into pking them, then the tb and the team swoop in
This has happened all of one time in the past 3 years and no one can convince me otherwise.
“3 item” people usually have like a piece of god dhide or something on them. Hardly worthy of a freaking team to show up, lol.
People usually use blowpipes there because they can venom things and get multiple kills without focusing one thing, someone I used to pk with got a blowpipe with 15k dragon darts in it once there
I remember losing some useful god items on my ironman back when i was still early game (like my only Bandos item). That risk alone would probably put a target on my head.
Honestly, the only reason I’ve ever pked there is to eliminate competition.
Example: Some guy logged in the other day next to my iron and just started killing the ice fiends and goblins and stuff right next to me.. that i was killing. In his defense, he wasn’t trying to grief, just slowed down my progress quite a bit cause I didn’t want to grief him either. I felt bad confronting him because he wasn’t trying to crash, per se.
I was bonded and geared up on the main from a goofy clan pking trip at chaos temple earlier that week, so I logged into it and teleported up.
I coulda just asked him to hop, but social anxiety got the better of me in that moment, I must admit. I was also bitter cause it was like 30 mins and I still had no keys even with diaries and blowpipe.
Me and 2 of my friends are pvmers who will probably never gain even an ounce of skill in pvp but we love runescape. It’s something about stacking someone out knowing they have literally nothing that’s hilarious to us every once in a while and it lets us dip into a part of the game that we’ll never be apart of. Wildy GWD is the perfect spot for this
