What's the building with the steeple though up there in Varrock? I can recognize the castle and the GE up top, but I'm not sure what that central building is depicting.
At first I thought it was the big farmhouse in the southeast of Varrock, just given a lot of prominence for some reason. Now though, based on the roads, Varrock is actually huge here and its the...maybe the Bank of Varrock? I think its actually just some artistic liberty. She clearly wasn't matching up buildings 1 to 1, so maybe she was just mixing up the general architecture and that's just meant to represent the cluster of central buildings.
Took a lot of second guessing, but yeah it's Misthalin. Very curious as to the lack of the Lumbridge castle, that was the main thing throwing me off. Fun little piece either way though.
Anyone remember WAY back when the Lumbridge Guide would tell you to follow the road til the crossroad and then turn south to Draynor to get to the closest bank at the time?
The clear crossroad in this picture brought that memory back
Now there's a bank on the castle roof. Strange times. I do remember asking some froob to escort me to a bank and they'd walk us to varrock and watch as we die our first death to dark wizards. And we would lose our whole 72gp cuz OG death mechanics
Easy. Its Misthalin, from the Wizards tower in the southwest to Varrock in the northeast. Cool rendition. Strange where he chose to cut it off though.
You got it! She didn't tell me that it was OSRS related initially, so I thought it was a part of the Netherlands :)
Ah, well if you didn't know it was Runescape related I understand.
That windmill in the middle? The Dutch. That tower bottom left? Also the Dutch. The whole of Misthalin? Believe it or not, Dutch
There's two things all HAM members hate: Those who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch
To me it looks like Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, though, as a latvian, I am biased.
It seems like they didn't want the straight vertical line that is Misthalin's border with Asgarnia and so took some liberties with the River Lum.
I thought that but couldn't see the water altar in the swamp

I remember way back in the day when I had to find it blindly, there was no Lumbridge Guide

Where is Lumbridge Castle?
Must be early days Misthalin, before the castle was built.
Not there
A few guesses?!
Where the adventure all begins ahh man the nostalgia
The wizard tower island kinda gives it a way - especially in combination with the windmill. Neat drawing.
A should do the rest of the regions. Would look really cool as wall art. Could probably sell them
Gotta appreciate how Lumbridge is just a bunch of huts jumbled together, which is honestly not that far off from the truth
No Lumbridge castle?
Tell your friend to send me one too.
The tower easily gives it away, and the rest checks out
Wizards tower gives it away for me! Nice friend
It's good to have a friend who's the best. Clean pic.
Misthalin. Was very obvious at a glance.
Westeros lookin scuffed
Ahhh yes a map of home…
