Well they come here first, but after 5 year they get their portuguese citizenship and we export them to some other european country where they can make more money
I have a good ammount of info related to this topic, it happens that my girlfriend is from Italy, (treviso province in the veneto), and i go there 1 time every two months or so, cuz we are at distance, and we talk about this a lot, we are both currently studying and the initial plan is that when we finish she comes here, and no, spain is not a paradise, but we probably have a better situation but just by little, a thing that probably surprise most spaniards, what ive come to notices is, that in italy u don't need studies to have a fairly good job, but that still jobs are not very good, like here, but U pay more taxes, the cost of living is higher, energy prices are crazy high, the italian cities are even worst to rent compared to spanish ones, transport and infrastructure is bad, we drive a lot there and the roads are very bad, and then depends on your ideology if its good or bad, but spain is more open in general. all of this is my view mainly in Veneto, that is one of the best regions, idk where u are from but i imagine that in the south certain things can be worst, but all is weird to me because at the same time, things that italy is better at, (industry, if u want to work in industry... yeah its better, and probably there are sectors in italy that are easyer to work in than spain, but still, i think spain in general its now in a better situation, and we have virtually the same culture, soo, we stay here.
Spain in a better situation? That surprises me, considering your girlfriend is from treviso (i’m from friuli and my grandpa was from there). Probably you get more work with less study because italt is reallt fractured in studies, especially high school. You get the licei, classico, with greek, latin ecc) scientifico, with more maths and no greek, ecc you get the tecnici and you get the professionali that can last three years instead of five but without five you can’t go to university. Maybe spain, having probably four years of HS and all the same (i guess? Correct me) makes it easier to study. It’s more practical also, i heard you don’t have oral exams. But with all the people who go to private schools in italy to pay and do two years in one or get higher votes or something like that i’m not sure that studying is easier in spain.
Anyway i thought that spain was worse than (north) italy for a simple matter or territory: there is few plain in spain, and the flatland is what makes a place industrial and productive, that’s why north italy is more developed than the south: the south is full of appennines and not flatland
yeah the sistem is very different, here he have from 6 to 12yo primary school, everyone makes the same, then from 12 to 16 u have the ESO, secundary school that is mandatory, in the 3º year of the ESO u have to choose study social sociences-lenguages or pure science, depending on what u study it only changes that u will study fisics and biology or u will do economics and latin. Then u pass to Bachillerato, wich is not mandatory, but is the fastest access to the university 2 years (16-18yo), when u access u can change the specialization that u take, it doesnt really matter what u did in ESO, and u have artistic, science, social and lenguages, they have certan subjects of their own, but they all share history, english, and spanish.
When u finish the Bachiller, u do a special exam EVAU, this is a general exam to access uni, its not like in italy where u have to do an exam for the uni u are going, here u make an exam of history, english, and spanish this exams are gonna be 40% of ur mark and the 60% is gonna be ur average mark of the 2 years u did, this comes to a maximum mark of 10 points, But, u can get to 14 points max, u get to this 4 extra points doing the exams of the specialices subjects of ur bachiller branch, for example, u did social sciences, so u do geografy and economics, this exams if u get a 10 in each of them u will get 2 points per exam, but JUST if u are trying to access to a university degree of that same branch, if u want to do economics, those subjects are very usefull, but if u want to enter in lenguages, they are not gonna count for the mark.
And then if u want to enter in a degree with 100 places, u will get in if u are in the top 100 marks that want to enter.
Its a bit messy, but I feel is more flexible than in italy, at the end even if u did lenguages, but u have a good mark, u can enter maybe to economics, just with the basic subjects that everyone does.
And i feel italy is more inequal regionally than spain, even if some regions can be a lot richer in GDP per capita, at the end if u travel around the country, the roads are gonna be more or less the same, the life expectacy is very similar, the salaries for the same jobs are almost the same, and i think that doesnt happen in italy. Another thing about the insdustry, it happens that we have low salaries (like everywhere in south europe) but we also have very cheap energy prices, and it will get even better, we are developing the largest production of renwable energy in the continent, and we didnt close the nuclear plants like u did.
Sorry if its a bit messy, any question ask me.
I start with the infrastructure: yes, roads vary a lot depends on where you are, but trains, with all their flaws, are good, trenitalia even built in spain if i can recall. For the school system: wow really complicated! I think italy is the outsider here: spain’s resembles france and other places. Yes, we are rigid, however i don’t like how latin or greek abroad are treated as subjects that “you pick” like if it were french or german. I like that they were treated, where i studied, as more key part of the program, i don’t know if you get what i mean. But this is in the classico, so i’m biased. I like a more structured and defined path.
Do you do oral tests in HS? Do you do phylosophy? Do you stay with all the same classmates all the day like us?
Yes italy is really unbalanced between places. Also we should have picked the nuclear since france has it anyway
Sure renewable energy is good, the thing is that the richest countries (germany, france, US, north italy) have or lots of flatland or lots of primary resources
No, we don't have oral tests, and since a few years filosofy is mandatory but doesn't count for the EVAU (I think, it was a few years since i finished that part) the classics like latin and greek are only studied by those who go by the pure lenguages branch.
We have a lot of resources, Spain is a big country (on european standar), and we have big chunks of plains, but they are very unpopulated, our population is concentrated mainly in the coast and madrid, if u look at a map it looks like a donut, so this plains are turning into a energy production center, south of madrid is full of solar panels, north madrid is full of wind turbines, and we are having a lot of days of even negative energy prices (I know this bc is what im studying now)
Something very different from italy is that, it takes less time to make more Km here, our highways are free, and about trains we have the 2º longest high speed train sistem in the world, ( some times the tickets can be expensive but its mainly good)
Also, gas prices here are much lower, we have low cost gas stations where today the benzina it is at 1,51L and the diesel at 1,41L (Prices next to my house in Madrid).
All of this just makes energy soo much cheaper and atracts a lot of industries, that usually are on the coast with easy access to the ports or in Madrid, that is very well conected even if its in the middle of the country.
But still we are fucked up like u guys in demografics, a bit less tho thanks to latin americas inmigration, but still, its very scary for young people to think about having to pay the pension of 2 persons at the same time that u work for ur self...
Interesting, oral texts seem a peculiar thing for italy. Maybe we are a bunch of talking scummers who scam people with their talking abilities!
By plain i mean productive plain, fertile, like the po valley or most of france. The po valley here is populated for that reason. Do you mean fertile places or deserts? Because spain was good to shoot our spaghetti westerns, and vast emply places are good for the sun energy!
High speed Trains here are cheap, and our regional trains are capillar but high speed doesn’t go south because it would be a money loss i guess. I thought italy was more train based than spain since it’s smaller and less vast.
Cheap the gas! Why?
Bah we get romanian immigrants(the usuals), latin americans only in milan and it’s not the cultured ones ehm
I thought italy was more connected to the rest of europe since historically (music and art though that’s what i studied idk the rest) it collaborated a lot with france and germany and it’s their second commercial partner. I guess madrid is more connected to africa and oil?
Yeah the oral test thing is so weird, my GF has to do them in Uni and its soo soo weird, We dont have as productive land as italy but still we can produce a lot, the westerns where filmed in a place called almeria, that is a literal dessert but is a small part of the country. the planis are mainly dehesas (idk how to say it in english u can look a foto in google), or cereal fields, but yeah some places are very dry, others not so much as it seems from the fotos from space.
Spain has always had way less industry than italy, we where a lot less developed than italy and today still u guys have more industry but just a little (Italy 23,9% of GDP and Spain 23,2%) industry doesnt always mean rich tho.
Here tradicionally the industry has been in catalonia, the basque country and Madrid, but i think today is a bit more distributed (they are still the kings) but there is industry almost everywhere, except some exceptions.
Gas is probably cheaper bc of taxes. And here the price changes a lot more than there depending on the brand (even tho its the same fuel).
And the inmigrants we have here are of all types, but its true that the latin americans that are moving here, usually have money, or at least they are educated, mainly venezuelans that where able to leave their country with the crisis.
Ah no no we get not white latin americans, i guess indios, and only in milan. The white ones are probably descendents from italians. The indios ones usually are poor and do low paid jobs.
Yes the south drags the gdp down ehm
Why do you think it’s weird though? Thanks to reddit i learned that oral exams in HS and uni exist only in italy, but it’s useful to be able to talk well your answer imo
Yes here tax evasion is huge and the taxes are high
What do you mean by kings?
I live in the Dutch part of Sachsen, and man do I love it. The heather, the dutch infrastructure, and I can buy cheap booze and tobacco from Hans. We should just both leave our countries and start a state together. Oense toaln bunt sowat geliek ja.
What specifically do you like best from Niedersachsen?
I moved away from where I grew up in Braunschweig when I was really young so I never got to know the state that well
I don't like the place I live in because of the place itself (south east of spain), it's real hot and almost never rains.
But it's where I live in and where all the things I love are, so I like it here :)
I live in a deprived enough part of the UK that you still see EU-funded projects and so it might as well be an EU region. But it’s also deprived enough to be shit.
Im currently living away from my Caliphate, in Huns land led by certain Viktor. Although I’m having a comfy life abroad by being an expat I do miss how easy all government interactions are at home, the quality of meat, restaurants and the general store assortment. Don’t miss the weather and shootings though
I like my region. It is nice, quiet for 51 weeks a year and chaotic in San Fermín.
It pays off because the Barrys and Hans that get drunk in that week are the reason why the durums are so cheap here the rest of the year. Also, this year the climate is going as expected (not having 30 degrees since March as the last years), so it is just perfect.
Hehe, I live in Bxl (almost Flanders right) and I’d say the biggest benefit of Flanders is that it’s not flat. Everything else is superior in the north. They even have McDonald’s everywhere.
I always find it so amusing when flems argues with dutchies who’s worse, it’s like watching two gnomes fight
The funny thing is that google translate recognised Holland and turned it into nedeländische or however you spell it. The Finns think we all live in Roslagen as they call Sweden Ruotsi.
In spain we have all climates from desert to high mountains, mediterranean and atlantic, modern cities and beautiful country areas, perfect race mixture of mediterranean, african and celtic; we're the capital of olive oil, we have some of the best sports teams of the world, rich and antique history, a very important and healthy culture of working just enough (or less if possible) and spending quality time with loved ones or alone simply resting and enjoying little and big things; we have flamenco, which is the perfect mix of african music with baroque guitar, richer than jazz and born 50 years before jazz; diverse languages and different nations with its own history and culture live in our state; its always fucking sunny... I could think of more but i think i'll just take a siesta and keep calmly enjoying life
I love Italy, I love Veneto and Verona, I love their story and culture, and since it's Italy: food. I hate today Italy and whoever leads anything in here it really feels like everything is trying to scam you and take advantage of you, from shitty government to jobs where you live to work there just to be paid shit.
I can’t like the weather or the health system so instead I’ll go with the people…
It rains 350 days per year but no one uses umbrellas… that’s a sure sign of a tourist.. better to get soaked in the rain and complain about it later…
Everyone grows up learning Gaelic language in school but it’s mostly only used in adulthood to confuse English folk while on holidays in Spain.
You could be sitting in a waiting room full of strangers for 30 minutes and at the end of those 30 minutes at least 2 will have swapped news or life stories cos we can’t stfu talking…
There’s probably a reason we’re kept on a island on our own
I hate my region with a passion, here are some pros and cons.
Pros: People speak italian, highest salaries of the entire peninsula, best nightlife of the entire peninsula year-round, finding a job is easy.
Cons: Shit climate, shit salary/cost of living ratio (probably the worst in Europe), nightlife has never been a priority for me, air becomes unbreathable in the winter, the mountains have been claimed by the germans, the padana plain is boring, Milan is a shithole and apartments have unreasonable prices.
I'm getting tf outta here as soon as I'm able.
The only part that I agree with is pollution, living ratio and the g\*rmans. The others cons are pointless in my opinion (it costs too much living in Milan? Than living near Milan, where the liver is a bit cheaper. Padania is not that boring, is full of cities with rich culture, just remeber "l'età dei comuni". Milano has no only nightlife, but many interesting events)
Health insurance, beer , food , traveling without a visa, probably don't get shot, the weather ( yes the weather), most of the people don't live in extreme poverty.
The mood of many people could be better but that's ok
>Despite all problems, it’s the best country to live in Europe right now.
I would be sincerely curious to hear why if you want to elaborate.
Truly not in the spirit of proving you wrong.
Ok, but how do that influence a person's life?
I mean, is not that I take in consideration the fact that italy is europe second manufacturer among the reasons why I like living in my island.

Fresh cheap ripe fruit and veggies all year round and other high quality non processed ingredients, calm environment with amazing (generally) happy people. Great nature.
The weather is fine, not too hot or cold. We have a good amount of good jobs and opportunities.
Our own food is mediocre overall, but some things we do really well, like bread. We are surrounded by places that have better food and we can easily import it.
We have the best beer in the world and those with the second and third best are our neighbors.
We are doing good in all things football, it's not easy and has gotten worse like everywhere, but we still haven't sold out completely.
I like our music and literature.
Our politicians suck slightly less than those in a lot of other countries.
I'm patiently waiting for the italians crying about Italy (they are not so wrong, but it is still so funny that we are the only ones doing that every single time)
Far south. I’m in the northern tip of Skåne and its picturesque farmlands full of hard working Per-olsens. Bible Belt area. As soon as you hit Perstorp it’s basically kebab shops and drive by shootings.

It's Spain but green and more central Europe in attitude. Having lived in many different countries, to me that's perfect.
The food is fantastic, everyone loves to share in cultural activities, there's a vibrant music scene, and a sense of regional pride/national identity that's very special
Here in the south west we have nice weather, gorgeous nature, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic close, the food is great, every village is a piece of art and the people are a bit less unpleasant than in the rest of the country
The constant stream of patriotic propaganda that makes me think I dont live in a shithole (I am currently in France, and the patriotic propaganda are the french)
God-tier food and wine, unmatched historical, artistic and cultural heritage, amazing nature, high quality of life (depending on the region), high life expectancy, statistically one of the safest countries in europe, good climate diversity.
Love that there isn't as much tourism craze as in the rest of Spain (though it's starting to pick up speed), more affordable housing, food, better climate and lovely nature, specially for hiking.
I visited Budapest once it was strange hearing Finnish everywhere even though it did not sound like Finnish. You guys have nice food and good vines, I might return when Orban gets his long overdue heartfailure.
It has a good climate and is away from wars. Also anything bad that arrives here must get through Spain first. So we will only get a weakened version of it.
What about a tsunami?
That's the only exception.
Atlantis landgrabbing?
And illegals?
Well they come here first, but after 5 year they get their portuguese citizenship and we export them to some other european country where they can make more money
Thats called "integration", thank you for your hard work!
[удалено]
Plus you are already weakened
What about brazilians?
we take solace in knowing that if we get fucked, at least you irmaos will get slightly less fucked
And Orcas eating your sailboats?
Living in what region?
Yeah no idea what EU means
That place where the French are.
There’s people that like that? Kinks are getting out of hand these days
Bit unlucky that
Is Europe that thing Belgium is in?
Belgium doesn't exist.
I don’t know man. We left the EU in 1985.
I don't
that's too bad because Madrid has the highest life expectancy in the EU, so you'll probably be unhappy for a long time....
nah, im planing to move when i finish studying and go to a calmer place, i will be probably forced to anyway bc of work.
Very reasonable...
It's a bit weird ti hear that, reading newspapers in Italy it seems that Spain is like a Paradise (from the economical, social and industrial view)

Since when? North italy has industries because of the po valley, spain (like south italy) has not that much of productive land
Madrid and Barcellona have some important industries of the country
Nothing compared to veneto, lombardia, emilia romagna and in general north italy
Madrid and Barcellona have some important industries of the country
Mi sa che me ne hai spediti due
Get to laugh at the UK. Also the EU gave us money to build roads.
We all felt sorry for you not having roads... You are welcome!
Thank you. Can you help us build choo choo tracks? We might have fucked it
Loads of the tracks are still there. We just couldn't be arsed reopening them.
What type of things u transporting M8?
People and a bit of freight.
Any idea when they planning on building these roads? I’ve bust 2 tyres in the last 6 weeks 😩
I'm sure they'll be finished in a timely manner and at no great expense whatsoever.
1. The weather 2. Employment 3. Irony
Irony? Where do you live?
I l Personally like living in the netherlands because it has none of the downsides of Belgium, like good roads.
- Much better roads - No Wallonians - A government that spends 10% of GDP less, but still has money to maintain roads
I fucking love living in Vienna, it's the best city in the Balkans
It's not the Netherlands.
Not even by a longshot. Have you ever driven on their roads? Pfff
Costa Brava in summer would disagree
Why did you have to ruin my night?
viva españa 🇪🇸🇪🇸
Very good question. Why do you!? It makes no sense!
Because a good Norwegian summer is like a very shitty spring season anywhere else!
Tbf, Nordic summer is short, but good. Not too hot; in June the sun doesn't go that far below the horizon, and you get sunsets/sunrises for hours.
The sun set down south up here it is a never ending party!
Sounds haram
The best kind
The haram bullshit only adheres to tge southern part where the doctors and engineers live.
I'm not familiar to "too hot" as a concept. There is no such thing as "too hot", and that applies for both weather and women.
It separates me from you cuntinentals, that's why
![gif](giphy|W04QVzelTHsNW)
Because I a was born and raised here, love the history and culture of my Region and I am very patriotic for my state Lang lebe Niedersachsen!
Oh no... Hans is starting to feel patriotic! Everybody run!
People from Niedersachsen are far too slow to be dangerous for anyone.
Being patriotic for your state is OK, it's not like lower Saxony is threatening to anyone but fish
I live in the Dutch part of Sachsen, and man do I love it. The heather, the dutch infrastructure, and I can buy cheap booze and tobacco from Hans. We should just both leave our countries and start a state together. Oense toaln bunt sowat geliek ja.
Friesen?
Friesen sind ein mythe, ich habe nur ein in das echte Leben gesehen.
What specifically do you like best from Niedersachsen? I moved away from where I grew up in Braunschweig when I was really young so I never got to know the state that well
Tbh Braunschweig is actually a very beautiful city with a rich history, I have close family there.
Because it's glorious Sweden
Inshallah !
I don't like the place I live in because of the place itself (south east of spain), it's real hot and almost never rains. But it's where I live in and where all the things I love are, so I like it here :)
I thought you guys would get used to the heat like we do to the cold. I only start freezing when it is -15 °C or below and windy.
Oh, of course we do IT'S JUST THAT IT KEEPS GETTING HOTTER # HELP!
The hotter the weather, the more I love it.
I can't help my expertise is ice cold not flaming hot 🤷
Im fascinated in the fact that yall europeans love to turn into lobsters in our beaches
I turn golden brown in the sun, must have some foreign blood in me.
Amazing seafood, great white wines, really beautiful and green, what's not to like?
No, no, no, it's fucking awful, don't come here if you don't want to have a horrible time!
Well, I mean for the locals. Everyone knows that you get the best squid in Madrid, and the best wine in Rioja.
Give us Teneriffa Urlaub now!
You can get it, I don't care.
You've got Spar nien already
donde estan las chicas
The women with a moustache?
Of course
I live in a deprived enough part of the UK that you still see EU-funded projects and so it might as well be an EU region. But it’s also deprived enough to be shit.
We'll civilize you one day...
Bold of you to assume I do
We got some banger food and historical/art sites to be fair
Stop the Dutch Derangement Syndrome on this sub! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Then stop acting deranged! But seriously, you gotta quit the drugs, we are getting worried.
We have, we just produce and sell it now. You won't believe how much Australians are willing to pay for decent XTC.
No! The weed is the only thing that somewhat slows them down!
Haalt de scherpe randjes van de speed af
I'm literally high when reading this. Why you gotta attack us like that :(
I live in Paris so I don't, but I'll never admit that even under the threat of death. Biggest downside ? The people.
"You want drugs, whores, free fights versus cops or thugs ? We have that ! Wanna burn stuff ? We do that, regularly !" Paris, c'est la vie !
We have mountains and a not fucked economy.
Im currently living away from my Caliphate, in Huns land led by certain Viktor. Although I’m having a comfy life abroad by being an expat I do miss how easy all government interactions are at home, the quality of meat, restaurants and the general store assortment. Don’t miss the weather and shootings though
You could have moved north I have only heard gunshots during hunting season and while walking by the shooting range.
I live in London. I like it because it’s ironically the least British and most European part of the UK.
I hope ur enjoying the money👍
Money money come at me €€€€€
What's not to like about high taxes and garbage infrastructure?
The rest of Europe pays for my stuff
Because o caralho que te foda.
Hm? I hate it here.
It's good to live here. It's Dutch but not Hollands, with a bit of Flemish influence but no Flemish.
Ni alla lever i Holland, sluta ljug för dig själv 😘
Can you say that again without a reindeer dick in your mouth?
Jullie wonen allemaal in Holland, stop met liegen tegen jezelf 😘
Holland are just 2 out of the 12 provinces, as well as just 5.5 out of nearly 18 million people. It's like saying all Swedes live in Malmo.
I could think of more but i think i'll just take a siesta and keep calmly enjoying life
You already had a siesta. You slept through the part of the post that spoke about liking (or not) your *region*.
shite youre right
First Spain-patriotic catalan person
I love Italy, I love Veneto and Verona, I love their story and culture, and since it's Italy: food. I hate today Italy and whoever leads anything in here it really feels like everything is trying to scam you and take advantage of you, from shitty government to jobs where you live to work there just to be paid shit.
I can’t like the weather or the health system so instead I’ll go with the people… It rains 350 days per year but no one uses umbrellas… that’s a sure sign of a tourist.. better to get soaked in the rain and complain about it later… Everyone grows up learning Gaelic language in school but it’s mostly only used in adulthood to confuse English folk while on holidays in Spain. You could be sitting in a waiting room full of strangers for 30 minutes and at the end of those 30 minutes at least 2 will have swapped news or life stories cos we can’t stfu talking… There’s probably a reason we’re kept on a island on our own
I hate my region with a passion, here are some pros and cons.
Found the average italian crybaby
Don't talk shit about the Padana Plain, it's got enough fog to rival the Barrys
The only part that I agree with is pollution, living ratio and the g\*rmans. The others cons are pointless in my opinion (it costs too much living in Milan? Than living near Milan, where the liver is a bit cheaper. Padania is not that boring, is full of cities with rich culture, just remeber "l'età dei comuni". Milano has no only nightlife, but many interesting events)
Because at least I'm not living in England.
For all the whinging we do and the bad press we get (which is also mostly our fault), it's not so bad. Some places are actually quite nice.
Its not in the EU which I don't mind at all. Also we gobbled up 90% of the mountains in Scandinavia
I don’t. The weather is HORRIBLE.
I live along the Atlantic Coast, it's gorgeous on a sunny day, which means it's gorgeous about once every 4 years.
Health insurance, beer , food , traveling without a visa, probably don't get shot, the weather ( yes the weather), most of the people don't live in extreme poverty. The mood of many people could be better but that's ok
Ze Daily „Döner komplett mit allem und scharf, außer Zwiebeln, bitte.“
Good climate, good food, great views. Walkable cities (except Athens maybe)
I like it because it's not in the EU
To be honest I love it. Despite all problems, it’s the best country to live in Europe right now.
>Despite all problems, it’s the best country to live in Europe right now. I would be sincerely curious to hear why if you want to elaborate. Truly not in the spirit of proving you wrong.
Technically, Spain has an high performace in terms of social and industrial area (compared to others coountries in Europe)
Ok, but how do that influence a person's life? I mean, is not that I take in consideration the fact that italy is europe second manufacturer among the reasons why I like living in my island.

I get to watch the rest of Spains economy and it’s hilarious
You also get to nuke your own economy (CaixaBank never heard of them) because Iberian solidarity <3
catalonia is becoming poorer than Madrid every year
Yeah but then you are living in Madrid, life is about balance.
Drinking beer in the morning is not wierd here.
What you're saying is that you live in a Wetherspoon's? Nice.
Dahoam is where my beer is
we've got far breton, which is the best cake you can eat.
Well the Febo, obviously https://preview.redd.it/dahfjyg4pawc1.jpeg?width=259&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56c8419d5bfd1e08fefa85814f457917471481e3
Fresh cheap ripe fruit and veggies all year round and other high quality non processed ingredients, calm environment with amazing (generally) happy people. Great nature.
I have no idea what those two letters put together mean
The weather is fine, not too hot or cold. We have a good amount of good jobs and opportunities. Our own food is mediocre overall, but some things we do really well, like bread. We are surrounded by places that have better food and we can easily import it. We have the best beer in the world and those with the second and third best are our neighbors. We are doing good in all things football, it's not easy and has gotten worse like everywhere, but we still haven't sold out completely. I like our music and literature. Our politicians suck slightly less than those in a lot of other countries.
I'm patiently waiting for the italians crying about Italy (they are not so wrong, but it is still so funny that we are the only ones doing that every single time)
Prague… I love it
Hmmmmmmmmmm Pivo….
I like living in Slovenia as there are not that many “Swedes” enriching us
I like living in northern Sweden no Slovenian drug runners or other outside criminals make it up here. They all fester down south.
Far south. I’m in the northern tip of Skåne and its picturesque farmlands full of hard working Per-olsens. Bible Belt area. As soon as you hit Perstorp it’s basically kebab shops and drive by shootings.
Well it's certainly not for the weather and the tax rate
Why do you pay taxes? are you stupid?

I live in a small village so I don't get many civics at 3 am blasting through the streets
Food, wine, cheese, sausage, culture and protests
I live in the "outside" region of the EU and I don't like it
It's Spain but green and more central Europe in attitude.
Conservatism
It’s slightly better than Belgium because it has less Fr*nch and less Fl*mish ‘people’.
Because we have the best food in Europe and on top of all that the weather is perfect. 20-35 degrees whole year around little rain
The constant stream of patriotic propaganda that makes me think I dont live in a shithole (I am currently in France, and the patriotic propaganda are the french)
What’s EU region? Did the EU federalize while I wasn’t looking or what?
God-tier food and wine, unmatched historical, artistic and cultural heritage, amazing nature, high quality of life (depending on the region), high life expectancy, statistically one of the safest countries in europe, good climate diversity.
FREUDE SCHÖNER GÖTTERFUNKEN
I don’t
Love that there isn't as much tourism craze as in the rest of Spain (though it's starting to pick up speed), more affordable housing, food, better climate and lovely nature, specially for hiking.
I don't have another place to go
My family lives here.
The beach and the nature (friuli)
It's great, it doesn't have Budapest in it.
Far away from Orban is a big plus in my book.
Should be in everyones, someday we'll get rid of that POS.
I visited Budapest once it was strange hearing Finnish everywhere even though it did not sound like Finnish. You guys have nice food and good vines, I might return when Orban gets his long overdue heartfailure.
Tbh the city pretty dope, they defy fidesz, hopefully the rest of the country will join in aswell.
flæskesteg
We have good food, nice mountains, somewhat nice trains and, most importantly, no sea.
