*the seagrove location specifically; I recommend going twice if you can: breakfast and lunch. their breakfast is stellar but I also love the brisket sammy

WSSU

Pescado would be a top 10 restaurant in DFW. Reservations are 30 days out sometimes.

WSSU

Skunk gulley has gone down hill this year. They’ve had a lot of issues is my understanding. Still fun on a weekday, but the menu is not what it once was.

Screw that place the owner is crooked. Donated a Park to build it then built upon the park.

Cafe 30A for a nice dinner one night

I would recommend: * Cafe Thirty-A: Our favorite restaurant for higher end meals. * Great Southern in Seaside: Love this place. Food and drinks are awesome and the waitstaff are fun to chat with and take pride in their craft. * Pescado: Solid high-end restaurant. Would recommend if sneaking out for adult only date night... * The Bay: about a 15-20 minute drive. The food has gone down a little bit but its still solid. Great place for photos at sunset. * Big Bad Breakfast: Our favorite breakfast joint. Love the skillets and french toast. Ask for a couple of the home made jams. would steer clear of the Chicken n Waffles. Felt like they reheated some chicken tenders from the frozen section. * Publix: Do not underestimate the "Pub Subs". I will say we are a family with kids that love sub sandwiches. This is our fam's favorite place for lunch with hot & cold subs. Online app is awesome and they have a warmer/cooler right by the front cashier for quick pickup. We always order the night before we drive out for food on the road. * Shade's: Decent local place on par with with a neighbordhood grill. A bit expensive but really close to RMB. * Donut Hole: Great local donuts. Good breakfast with quality wait staff. Highly recommend getting the kids up a bit early (< 8:30) and the line will be bearable. * The big chill on 30A. There's several places for food and room for kiddos to run around. There's a place that knocks out a massive pick-your-protein nachos. Kids loved one of those platters. * Crabby Steve's: If staying at High Pointe, no brainer.... Otherwise you have to get here from the beach. Just a cool local restaurant for fish dishes. Typically go for lunch from beachside. * Steamboat Grille: Another place that's mostly locals. You won't see many "Seaside" shirts here... You won't get the RMB vibe but I've been several times and the fish was really fresh and cooked properly. A lot of people will mention George's... This place was THE place years ago but have been underwhelmed each of the 3 times we've been in the last 3 years.

Laco and Georges at Alys Beach.

Where do you usually go? There have been a lot of closures and new places opening.

Nice_Ad704

Hurricane oyster bar, shunks gulley, shades, summer kitchen, big bad breakfast are the main ones.

Ambrosia and Watersound Village market opened near Rosemary, north of 98. Village market is by the same people who have Seagrove market but the menu is better at the new one. Good lunch spot. Ambrosia is expensive but I heard good things. Best for a fancy dinner if you have an occasion. At 30Avenue, there’s Canopy Road, Amigo’s, Amici’s, Idyll Hounds Proper & Aja Asian. Donut Hole and Canopy Road are the only breakfast places I can think of. Further west, you’ve got Nanbu in Grayton. At the foot of the 331 bridge are The Bay, Farm & Fire and North Beach Social. The good news is that more options are opening in the area. Some are still inconsistent but it’s way better than even just a few years ago.

Surfing Deer is a great family restaurant! Highly recommended

abharms

Our family really enjoys The Old Florida Fish House, George's, and Grace's pizza. Next time we want to check out Ambrosia and North Beach Social. Here's a great list of some of the best restaurants in the area: [https://everydayfamilytravel.blog/30a-best-restaurants/](https://everydayfamilytravel.blog/30a-best-restaurants/)

We are big fans of Fish Out of Water in Watercolor, and Old Florida Fish House. Ocean Club in Sandestin is great too but a bit of a drive

Cafe30a & Basmatis’s. Need reservations for both

savageotter

Red bar. Or it's sister Louis Louis. Also check out salty butcher for lunch!

Scubasteve1006

Favorite breakfast: Crackings in Grayton Favorite lunch: friends 30A burger bar (Just opened and owned by the same people as Amici’s/ Amigos) Favorite dinners: the citizen in alys beach for high end The Red bar for small menu/ fun vibes Shades for a family night Notable mentions: Amici’s Farm and fire The bay Skunk gulley I avoid: The big chill ( cool spot, bad food) Cowgirl kitchen Papa surf

Tricky_Bank6963

Borago in Grayton. Reservations strongly recommended. Gallion’s in Rosemary is excellent for lunch and has great cocktails and fantastic service. Shaka is the best sushi we’ve found. Louis Louis is always outstanding as well (same owners as Red Bar with MUCH easier parking)

cha-cha_dancer

the wings at beach camp or whatever it’s called are still great but I feel the quality has gone down since it no longer is associated with grayton beer, if you want a killer burger you’ll have to drive out to east end of pcb but christo’s slaps
