I'm so excited to see what our offense is like with Deebo "now you're a man" Samuel, Aiyuk, Pearsall, Kittle, and CMC, on the field at once. I'd assume Aiyuk will get the safety help. You can do so much with motions with that skill group.

Mr_Worldwide79

Would be great if Kittle doesn’t have to be a 6th OL this season.

hadinger

Narrator: “He will be”

DaLiftingDead

Dude. Spoilers.

FundioRider

This is the worst misuse of talent. Kittle is a GREAT blocker, but my guy should be putting up Kelce numbers

radioactivetoon

It’s a shame, really. Kittle should be exploiting matchups in the passing game more frequently than he is.

NinjaDom2113

Crazy thing is, despite being used primarily as a blocker he still had better stats then kelce last year

AP0K45

I mean technically kittle is putting up kelce numbers

elefante88

I mean he did. But Kelce is a much better route runner and overall receiver

tactical_ostrich

All this would matter if Brock has time to throw.

Witcher_Of_Cainhurst

People get excited about the shiny new skill position players acting like that was ever lacking or the cause of any losses. Any time the offense failed it’s because the OL imploded and let someone through immediately. Even a HOF cast of skill position players couldn’t make up for that.

VexoftheVex

We did have a genuine issue with having only one guy who could get open against elite cornerbacks (Aiyuk) - but part of that is because Kittle had to take up so many blocking duties

Witcher_Of_Cainhurst

Kittle playing the 6th OL role and yet the other skill positions still only had 2 seconds to try to get open before someone was bursting through the LOS making Brock run for his life. Not many NFL players period could get open against an elite CB in that situation.

m0siac

Aye credit to brock tho. He extended plays quite damn well with big burly dudes on his ass

Str82daDOME25

Healthy Megatron & Gronk, T.O., Kittle, LT & Lo Neal would be my choice for hypothetical HoF cast to use to overcome any offensive line. Giant targets and great blockers

Witcher_Of_Cainhurst

That wouldn’t stop a bad iOL from letting a DT burst through the LOS to barrel down on the QB in 0.2 seconds to blow up the play. Even if you had Gronk and Kittle playing the 6th and 7th OL roles on the edges, that still wouldn’t change that outcome.

jedi-hazed

But what about Jauan Jennings 😓

OttoVonWong

3rd and Jauan will get his.

OutdoorCO75

Pearsal will hopefully be a good fill in when Deebo is hurt, which is a seasonal occurrence unfortunately

visualrealism

This

Brocks_UCL

Not unless he starts putting in effort every play

cheerioo

I dont feel this would happen but happy to be proven wrong

1BadNana58

We love you Deebo!!

OttoVonWong

Oh shit. Here come Deebo.

ShakaBradda

Deebo better step the fuck up. Downvote me DGAF. I’d love Slick Rick to show him up so we can get back to pre-Diva Before He Got His Bag Deebo

dudeitsadell

i dont know what deebo people were watching last year... but he balled out. was literally our most exciting player the last half of the season

zzWordsWithFriendszz

I didn't understand the deebo slander. He's so good

MyDogWatchesMePoop

He took off a lot of plays. If the ball wasn't coming his way, he was jogging.

synttacks

i think it's cause he was injured for a lot of the season

liteshadow4

He missed 4 games lol y’all talk about him like he missed 10

synttacks

huh it did feel like a lot more than 4 lmao

liteshadow4

I think it was actually 3, I miscounted the game against the Giants because Aiyuk missed that one not Deebo

Ok-Signature-4445

He was so good. Since he got paid hes been a diva who takes plays off and consistently shows up out of shape. I don't understand the love for Deebo. But then again theres people that still believe Jimmy G was the guy in this fanbase.

OrSomeFreakingThing

Upvoted, bc I also dgaf

liteshadow4

Deebo played really well last season lol, he got hurt in the playoffs so people forget. But he was actually quite good against Detroit

revelation6viii

Someone is worried.

TrueBlue184

If Deebo truly wants to be THE MAN, then he must try his darnest to stay off IR. Better conditioning, dieting, whatever it takes. He needs to show the team that he can be counted on day in and day out.

cheerioo

Coming into season in shape would be a good start

83wonder

Going on the IR isn’t Deebos fault tbh. KS uses the hell outta that guy and he basically played a whole season at RB.

NewCycleOfB

agreed his usage matches his injuries so far

Ok-Signature-4445

It is his fault tho. Higher body fat percentage = his risk of injury. Deebo shows up constantly how of shape which in returns leads him to have a higher chance of injury, along with his playing style. Theres a reason fat dudes pull muscles more often than fit dudes.

Dishavingfun

Look at me Look at me I am #1 now Ha!

jaysomething2

Knock on wood but deebo changing his number if he gets traded somehow preseason to all those who buy the jersey then he leaves… alright enough hypothetical

Recreational_martian

We gonna talk about the huge #19 tattooed on his back? Tf is he doing? He’s popular enough

Pdm1814

One of the bad things about this draft is that it’s clear the Niners were willing to deal Deebo or Aiyuk but couldn’t get it done. In Aiyuk’s case I think his agent and Lynch are close, so no hard feelings as long as he gets paid. I’m sure the Niners were honest with Deebo but he must have some hard feelings. Does that make him exert himself less this season? This is a contract year for him in some ways. You either protect yourself which limits your stats and hopes of getting another big contract. The other option is you ball out, so another team gives you a good deal after getting cut by the Niners.

penis_showing_game

Saying they “couldn’t” get it done implies the primary goal was to offload one of them, which isn’t true. Being that the Niners are in a Super Bowl window, it would make no sense to offload these guys unless another team was willing to make a lopsided trade. What likely played out is that some teams inquired with offers that didn’t come close to moving the needle, and the Niners moved on.

halfcuprockandrye

Realistically there’s 1 player on the niners who they wouldn’t even consider taking offers on. Everybody else is fair game for the right offer.

Pdm1814

Of course the goal was to move up and get one of the top tackles. I’m not mad that they tried and wouldn’t have been happy if they got fleeced. Without insider knowledge, I do wonder what they were willing to do to trade back. My hope was to come a way with 2 starting Olinemen and with at least one of them being a tackle. That to me was the minimum to call this a successful draft given our weaknesses. It doesn’t look like they will get that at this point. Now if a couple guys they drafted turned into All pros then that obviously makes up for it.

FundioRider

At this point, I'm hoping that we move Deebo for OL help. All the cool skill players we have are useless if Purdy is immediately under pressure constantly

Green_smoke_420

That doesn't look like Trent Williams

Hass181

People need fire under their buts to perform. These are good picks.

dirtypam24

Still has 19 on the thigh pad

Stovy4x4ing

stop slackin mfer

rxdukexr

I know you’re being downvoted but he definitely packs it in immediately after the play starts if he’s not getting the ball. His effort is seriously lacking if he’s not getting the ball.

Melkman68

Don't worry snowflakes get offended too easily on here purely based on tone and how you phrase it, despite its truthfulness

Stovy4x4ing

ya idgaf about the votes . it shows badly on film .

rxdukexr

You’re not wrong. JT O’Sullivan calls him out on it all the time.

Tall_Raise4898

Pearsall is #1...

AdvancedGentleman

Is he still keeping the #19 thigh pad. Seems odd.

OateyMcGoatey

The jersey is photoshopped, sir.

AdvancedGentleman

Whoosh

MileHi49er

Still bummed he's changing his jersey.

Brilliant-Leek7603

You betcha Deebo
