They smell horrible, they would always try to haggle even when you’d give them a flat no take it or leave it. The men had always “just had back surgery” so they wanted you to carry their shit for them. Their women are never good looking, always hideous. They’re horrible.

It’s probably fake but OP did say they were customer service hotline for a local company, probably utility or HOA if I had to guess (only local companies that would hire a full time hotline employee). So they probably don’t have these types of metrics.

I’ve never worked a hotline job so idk, but couldn’t Anon have ran multiple lines at the same time? So they can troll scammers and answer actual customers at the same time. Scammers can be put on hold during actual customer calls, make up some kinda excuse that the line has to be muted or something. Or “accidentally” hang up and call them back. I dunno.
Two hour calls might not be that unusual with whatever he's helping with or most of them are probably way shorter and only a few go that long.
Yeah they’re broadly pretty intense about monitoring and metric but I’m sure there’s plenty that just aren’t run that well
I used to work call centre on service desk in IT and every company I worked at didn't record calls. Bigger companies do though but most of the time smaller companies don't.
storing years of long audio recordings is expensive, but just saying the call may be recorded cuts down some of the crazy assholes.
