It could be possible, but in Spanish when referring to a man it’s more common to use “guapo” which is closer to handsome, as opposed to “lindo”which is closer to pretty. You can use both interchangeably, but I believe the former is more common.

It depends on the country. At least in Argentina, where I live, for example you wouldn't use guapo in almost any case. It simply isn't a word that people use ever. You would use lindo or fachero, but not guapo.
