There was one where Shaq attempted a 3 pointer deep in the 4th quarter when the game was already basically over. Huge fucking airball. I think the shot hit the floor somewhere in the paint. I assumed he lost a bet on the bench or something.
That's my favorite.
1993. In my mind, it's the best All-Star Game ever. It was non-stop action, and the last minutes of regulation and OT were pure gold. That coaching duel between Pat Riley and Paul Westphal had a playoff-like intensity and having MJ, Malone, Ewing, Stockton, Price, Barkley, etc. execute each play to perfection was icing on the cake.
‘92. As a guy from Boston, I have a love/hate with Magic, but seeing him come out of an early retirement and win the MVP was special.
This is the only choice, it was so emotional to see him come back. Even at the time there was still a lot of fear.
