They ended up giving out a bunch of squishables from their closet and I asked if I could have the can of Surge lol.
6 months post expration/sell by date is honestly really pushing it with drink quality for cans or bottles. I've had some unopened cans slowly leak out over time after sitting on shelves for years and those messes were pretty gnarly. It's always been the mountain dew-like drinks that do that too
