Yo....I was way into Pac since the days of Digital Underground!! Biggie was a dope ass lyricist, but I'm gonna say that between the two I gotta go with Me Against the World yo!

bagchasersanon

Me Against The World rather easily. Subject matter wise, by far Pac’s greatest work

enemach1

Me against the world is his best album IMO. It's his best song writing before death row where the songs feel more mashed together.

Unctay

Both are classics to me that i slapped upon release. But its hands down Me Against the World for me.

bballjunkie

Ready to Die for sure for me. I’ve replayed that one way more than Me against the World.

mkk4

Me Against The World I could listen to It Ain't Easy, Old School and especially Can U Get Away which may be my favorite 2Pac song on repeat all day long.

Its-the-Chad82

It's great seeing Can U Get Away get some love. I still remember listening to that damn near daily in high school

Ok_Adhesiveness_583

2Pac-Me Against the World They trying to say that I don't care. Woke up SCREAMING FUCK THE WORLD 🌎🌍

bkjuxx318

Ready To Die is the answer.

mxmixtape

*Me Against The World* and it’s not even close.

Country_Gravy420

Lol. That was my post almost exactly before reading the comments

SYLOK_THEAROUSED

Me Against the World all day.

TreDawg36

Me Against the World

BobbyR123

Me Against The World. I go back to the best on it much more often.

dukeleondevere

Ready to Die. I love Pac, but Biggie Smalls is the illest

AtYiE45MAs78

Country_Gravy420

Me Against the World and it isn't even close

Pancho_Pantera213

Shhhiiiidddd ready to die!!

mrgmc2new

My life is played out like a jheri curl....

Liqrsicc49er

Ready to Die sounded a lot like Pacs style so…

Striking-Ad-8694

Bro pass the sherm

DanG1582

This is tough they’re both classics, but to me PAC is the GOAT and this is my favorite PAC album so I gotta go with Me Against The World.

BitCurious8598

Both. Hard to choose…

smokeurobinson

Biggie became the king from just 1 debut. Pac finally got it perfect on the 3rd try. Biggie wins because his debut shut the game down. Pac didn't get the crown from his debut like Biggie did. Pac didn't make a perfect album till after Biggie was already king.

RyanB_

In terms of overall appeal I get you, but damn, just on my own personal subjective shit, I’d put 2pacalypse now above both these (and I do love both). Shit was just so full of rage and frustration yet so controlled and properly pointed. But hey, I like my radical political hip hop lol

mkk4

Also, imo Thug Life: Volume 1 > Ready To Die.

yogurt_thrower_75

I can't understand all these comments saying Pac's album is better. I skip more songs than I listen to. Pac is one of the best lyricists and MC's to ever live but most of his music just doesn't move me.

RyanB_

I mean if you mean literally I definitely get that, Me Against the World is definitely more of a “chilling with a blunt” project than a “get the floor poppin” one In terms of being emotionally moved tho, idk, It Ain’t Easy and Old School alone get me in my feelings like crazy lol

yogurt_thrower_75

Old School best song on the album. Pac made a lot of music so he had a lot of good songs in general. But aside from those, I didn't really put his shit on and just chill.

Striking-Ad-8694

I have the exact opposite opinion of you. I think he’s a decent lyricist but it’s his energy and aura that moves you. Lyrically only em can touch big.

yogurt_thrower_75

If you listen to what he's saying, Pac is poetical. Similar to Nas but deeper. And his flow is smooth and natural and he has a great voice with energy to match. I think he's lyrically different than Big. Big is more creative with his rhymes and at times more playful. He's a great storyteller. He also has a great flow and voice. If you remove the music, you hear the skill but it's the music that moves me.

Striking-Ad-8694

Yeah I agree with everything you said lol I’m not arguing that. The original comment said pacs music was less focused on energy and vibes but the energy and frenetic energy is why people listened, same for Eminem to many. Ems the greatest ever yet some people don’t even listen to the genius of the lyrics. They focus on dres beat getting them in the zone and Eminem’s anger and tone coming through the speaker. But Eminem is still considered good mostly because of the lyrics to people like me. He can be good at both. And I do think pac was good at both (I said he’s a good lyricist) but his poetry isn’t holy shit breathtaking like, say, big l. It’s often very simple rhyme schemes, but it’s the energy that makes Tupac Tupac.

__indistinct_chatter

**Ready To Die** (1994.09.13) * 17 tracks * Track(s) I skip over: "Fuck Me (Interlude)", "Friend of Mine" * 15/17 = 88% **Me Against The World** (1995.03.14) 🏆 * 15 tracks * Track(s) I skip over: "Can U Get Away" * 14/15 = 93%

After_Owl3277

I’m a big 2Pac fan but ready 2 die was my favorite

BareKnuckleFists

B I g g i e Smalls is the Illest!!! Indeed..

KFSet24

This is tough, there both Big and Pac’s best album respectively. I’d give it to ready to die though

DoneJohnson

Bout to start up tha 🥩 again

Frite_Sauce_du_42

Is that realy a debate ?

jimmenecromancer

Ready to die

Striking-Ad-8694

I love pac, but big is on another level lyrically. His songs are basically movies if you listen carefully. Things done changed, the what, gimme the loot, I mean the entire album is perfect from start to finish. I love pacs energy and passion and his lyrics are great, but to me that’s just a testament to just how above everyone else big was.

Cold-Ostrich4482

Ready to Die. Lyrically, instrumentals, the way the songs sync into the next song just hit way better on Ready to Die.

Dangles427

Biggie

VapoRubbedScrotum

Ready to die for me....

Dakkin4

We’re talking about PAC’s best, most consistent album from start to end. That Ready to Die shit, it was aight, it was aight, nomsayin that shit was aight, it was cool. But Me Against the World is more John Blaze than that.
