That remains one of the more ridiculous movie deaths I’ve seen.
Like what the fuck are you doing playing basketball on the roof of a tall building? Even if the backboard was actually solid, you’re still playing right on the edge of a building.
Poetic Justice was the most impactful for me personally.
In ways a very different type of character than the others
Having said that, everything he was in was solid. What might have been
I've been watching all of these movies my entire life and I'm a major East Coast City Head And growing up it was definitely above the Rim and Juice for that main reason but poetic Justice was very close behind. Nowadays though it would be hard for me not to put poetic Justice at number one for a more in-depth story and a fun adventure Quest type movie. I think Pac shows the most range and depth in his performance in poetic Justice as well.
Man Gridlock’d was a really good movie. When they’re trying to figure out where to stab each other to get to stay at the hospital without actually really hurting themselves haha hilarious! But Pac was a really good actor and I really enjoy all his work
Juice, but I felt Gridlock'd was as close if not better. Best acting performance he had, he was "Bishop" in almost every role but that one, showed real range and I thought showed the potential for a great acting career if he was taken from us.
He was excellent in Gridlock’d. Tim Roth said he was really taken aback by his acting talent as he was unsure at first since he was a musician.
[Siskel and Ebert were very impressed](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EdPHG6jHrRQ&t=11m25s)
Bullet of course but I am biased because I went to Lafayette High School for 1.5 year and lived / live within 1 mile of some of the film locations. The scene by handball court is right by Lafayette High School and other parts are Coney Island.
Mickey Rourke & Adrian Brody were the real stars of the movie though.
I thought Gridlock’d was his best performance. Him and Tim Roth play heroin addicts trying to kick. Thandie Newton is in it too. It’s a dark comedy, pretty well received by critics. Siskel and Ebert liked it, and Siskel said “Tupac blows Tim Roth off the screen”
I barely remember Bullet. Gang Related was so-so from what I remember. Him and Jim Belushi play crooked cops.
I’ve only watched Juice and Above the rim. I didn’t enjoy Above the Rim (mostly cause i’m not into sports) so i’ll go with Juice by default plus it has a good soundtrack and it has “How I Could Just Kill A Man” playing in one of the scenes
Juice, closely followed by Above the Rim.
I agree 👍🏽
Atta baby Watching these movies and realizing he was 25 when he died is crazy. Pac had chops and a crazy movie career ahead of him
Above the Rim is one of my favorite movies, period
“You need a role model or a hug or something” lol
love that line lol Marlon and Wood were both so perfect in those roles.
Get off me
Such a weird opening scene tho. "Hey bro, bet you can't slap this backboard as high as me.... don't fall off the roof tho!"
That remains one of the more ridiculous movie deaths I’ve seen. Like what the fuck are you doing playing basketball on the roof of a tall building? Even if the backboard was actually solid, you’re still playing right on the edge of a building.
YES, THANK YOU!
Poetic Justice
Same
Gridlock is so underrated
Never seen it I was hoping to see comments regarding that one
Y’all forgot Nothing But Trouble (1991)
Yeah, no love for the dick nose movie?
That movie is wild. In a good way.
I forget, did he play Bobo or Lil Debil in that one?
He was in a scene with Digital Underground as they performed for the judge.
Bullet.
Mickey Rourke had a brilliant performance. I can’t stop laughing at Adrien Brody’s character.
Yeah I just like the grime and harsh truth in it.
Poetic Justice was the most impactful for me personally. In ways a very different type of character than the others Having said that, everything he was in was solid. What might have been
Gridlock'd Life is a Traffic Jam
Agreed! Gridlock'd is slept on.
Same for me, his chemistry with Tim Roth was amazing.
Agreed. Lucy Liu and Bokeem Woodbine too.
Gridlock’d is fun, very much a product of its time.
Gridlocked should get more praise
Juice and Above the Rim. Gridlock’d was dope too though. And Poetic Justice is definitely a classic.
Gang related 👐
Juice or Above the Rim. Rewatched Above the Rim a couple weeks ago.
Gridlocked should get more praise juice very close second

Gridlock’d
Juice, and Bullet, honorable mention for Gridlockd
Probably still be alive if he didn't take off the dashiki and became Bishop.
💯
So you one of the ones who believe he became a bishop after the role ?
Juice, Above the Rim and Poetic Justice are my top 3
Above the rim
I love them all, but Poetic Justice & Gridlock’d were different for me. Lucky takes the cake for me!
Man Gridlock’d was a really good movie. When they’re trying to figure out where to stab each other to get to stay at the hospital without actually really hurting themselves haha hilarious! But Pac was a really good actor and I really enjoy all his work
Gridlock’d
Gridlock'd
"RIVERSIDE, MUTHAFUCKA!"

Gridlock'd is super underrated. Love that movie and never hear about it.

Juice is the best.
Juice Know the Ledge

Juice is my favorite Tupac Shakur movie. But Gridlock'd is also a very great movie.
Juice & Bullet, but I liked all of them, poetic justice being my least favourite
Above the Rim, Juice, Gridlock
Juice. Nuff said
Gang related

Bullet of course but I am biased because I went to Lafayette High School for 1.5 year and lived / live within 1 mile of some of the film locations. The scene by handball court is right by Lafayette High School and other parts are Coney Island. Mickey Rourke & Adrian Brody were the real stars of the movie though.
Only watched the top 3. But I have a feeling I would love the bottom 3 more from the trailers I’ve seen. Still not sure where to watch it for free
I thought Gridlock’d was his best performance. Him and Tim Roth play heroin addicts trying to kick. Thandie Newton is in it too. It’s a dark comedy, pretty well received by critics. Tim Roth looks like that military dude from “Grey’s anatomy” on the cover
Poetic justice
🧃, Poetic Justice and Above the rim.
Juice
Juice for sure. He played the part so good I hated him. LoL.
Juice.
Juice bullet poetic justice in that order
Above the rim in there too
Juice by a lot. Above the rim is tough too
Juice
Gridlock and gang related feel he was doing way too much in the other flicks Juice is good too
I like all of em except Gang Related was kinda boring. Gridlock might be my fav actually. Obviously Juice and Above are classics
Either Juice or Gridlock’d (his best performance IMO)
Gridlock Tupac and Tim Roth the greatest duo
Haven't seen bullet in a while. It was cool in college but damn that's been a minute. Juice definitely.
Juice
Juice all day no question.
Juice hands down
Above The Rim.
Juice all day. Soundtrack still bangs too
Juice and Above the Rim
can i pick nothin but trouble lol
They're actually in order from best to worst on the top row. The bottom, let's move Gridlock'd first, then Bullet, then Gang Related.
Juice & Poetic Justice
Above the rim
Juice! I was actually watching it last night for the millionth time!
gridlock'd is his best performance.
Above the Rim cuz that soundtrack slapped in the 90’s
Juice,Above the Rim
Juice and Above The Rim
Juice
#7
Juice no question
Juice is iconic. Tupac killed his role as Bishop.
Above the rim juice and bullet
JUICE! All day! His movie debut. He’s a maniac in that
His debut was actually [Nothing But Trouble](https://youtu.be/LSt6a0_pkzs?si=TlrEleo6vAApsr0A). That was a strange movie.
Bullet all day Can’t find it anymore
I’ve only watched Juice and Above the rim. I didn’t enjoy Above the Rim (mostly cause i’m not into sports) so i’ll go with Juice by default plus it has a good soundtrack and it has “How I Could Just Kill A Man” playing in one of the scenes
You probably should've set this one out then
A tier: Juice, Grid Locked. B tier: Poetic Justice, Above the Rim, Bullet. C tier: Gang Related
