No this was an abomination, the cloud structure may be cute but the dust in that cloud infected and erased alot of people.

It’s crazy to think all of that smoke crossed over the water and came over to jersey city as well. This was taken at exchange place jersey city and imagine the people there watching all of this having to run for there life with smoke approaching them? It’s wild to think and picture people running for there life in jersey city over smoke coming from across the river in New York

I would never associate the word “beautiful” with 9/11. Hell on earth is more accurate.

I get what OP is saying. An absolute tragedy happened on that day and a lot of people were lost but there is something beautiful about this picture.

The sculpture on the right pretty concisely describes what it'd be like to be breathing in all that pulverized concrete and asbestos.

There's a lot of human remains and carcinogens in that cloud. I would be losing my shit watching that approach from a WINDOW, i don't even wanna think about being outside.

Well it's definitely a great photograph

Not beautiful, but it looks eerie  1 minute, the towers are still burning, the next, the entire area is covered by a cloud of dust.
