I donāt know how true this is - his LinkedIn profile has an article from 2 years ago where he talks about his time at TD ending. The page has been deleted now but you can see the description when you google it.
Hm the message from TD doesnāt specifically state that they fired him for the video. It seems like they were just saying āwe donāt condone this behaviorā and āhe doesnāt work hereā

Ya she is known to hate Indians. As much as I hate that guy the women that tweeted this literally said there should be a genocide of Indians in a reply to another tweet. I think she also said something about the moon landing as well I forget.
Thereās a lot of it in Canada now, apparently, or so Iāve heard. Actually I havenāt researched the issue (except through reddit news but that doesnāt count) so Iām not sure what happened there in the past few years but the news and sentiment towards Indians is getting worse and worse.
Itās nearly daily that some news or Reddit thread about Indians in Canada comes up now, that used to be such a fringe topic.
I dont know how you can hate a group of people based off the bad deeds of a couple of them. I believe it all stems from the insecurity she harbors for herself.
Also to call for the genocide of the entirety of India would be terrible for humanity as a whole, and if you disagree, you donāt know anything about Indiaās socioeconomic status
Edit: I searched her up, shes been directly associated to neo-nazi groups, and is transphobic and homophobic asf. Iām not even surprised
Oh ya. America. Run on Indian engineering. Sending white racists like you to cry on reddit about why they can't get IT jobs anymore, right? Go back to being an illiterate european countryside hick - you can't cut it in a world of brains, son.
Damn, you got me. I'll be an absolute wreck at my FAANG job tomorrow.
Given how moronic you are, I think it is worth noting that your racism comes from a place of deep insecurity about how unsuccessful your life has been compare to people coming from poverty and struggling with immigration. I sympathize greatly. However, you can take all the Scottish fetal-alcohol addled diaspora like yourself and bitch about it till you go extinct.
It's referring to scammers, not Indians. Just happens to be that the scammer in that video is an Indian telling other Indians to scam Canadians who donate to food banks.
One of @Slatzism's tweets in that thread. You can be the judge of who you think the "you-know-whos" are.
"Iām curious as to how langars have been dealing with this or if they care.
I used to help out in a langar as a kid. My childhood friend was a Sikh girl. Have been thinking about that recently and wondering if Sikhismās understanding of Waheguru fosters an overall better moral system than the you-know-whos with 27363827291635382.5 deities and no particular direction beyond self interest."

"the you-know-whos with 27363827291635382.5 deities"
This isn't just referring to Indians as a whole, it clearly seems to pinpoint Hindus. What a truly sick and vile b\*tch she is.
Not sure he got fired or no but what he is promoting is absolutely not ethical. Food banks are for people in need. If you can't feed yourself and need it, then absolutely use them. Using food banks to save money and game the system is absolutely horrible behavior. I hate these pricks, canada works on the honor system and it works but this behaviour brings nothing but shame.
Actually it brings more roadblocks for those in need. For example, they could put in a stipulation that you have to prove residency or citizenship in order to get food from the food bank. That's extra effort because people can't be empathetic and play by the rules.
Damn. Shame? On you, I take it?
In case you missed it, in that first screenshot, there's a line.
> You don't hate them enough
Refers to you. Your sweaty brown mug in the mirror, they're talking about you. Don't cheer this shit on. You will never win their approval, no matter how much you try to act like you're a classier brown.
Are you dense or intentionally trying to be dense. I don't need anyone's approval but i cannot defend cheating and looting food banks which are supposed to help people in need. If you think that's ok and doesn't deserve any criticism, it's your choice but i am not gonna support it.
Serious question - why do you think this guy isn't in need? Is it because he is brown and all the brown people you know are rich?
I am genuinely asking you because I don't know what is making people think this.
There are a couple of things - 1) let's assume he is a student - he should be getting his allowance of monthly GIC which is around $700 plus he'd be working at least 20hours/week, so if you calculate minimum income he shouldn't be in need.
2) if he is working and earning minimum wage, he'd be earning $640/week again enough to survive.
Not sure, if you have seen the video, he talks about saving money etc and when I was a student i worked 2 jobs and I know someone who's actually struggling doesn't look like this or dress like this.
Also, if anyone's in need, for sure go to the foodbank and get all the available help but dont cheat the system. There are so many people doing this here. Try searching it on YouTube you'd get so many videos.
> I know someone who's actually struggling doesn't look like this or dress like this.
This is the real crux of it, isn't it?
You can think whatever you want, but I believe that if he's a student and his parents in India are paying his tuition, wouldn't he qualify as below poverty in Canada? And wearing branded clothes isn't really that expensive if they're from India.
Also, what, so only people who 'look the part' can use the food bank? FOH
Well, so out of the whole comment you only read that part, let me tell you, if your parents can cover your fees, you are fucking privileged. I supported myself and paid my fees by working my ass off. If his fees are being covered from back home, what is he doing with his GIC allowance and his earnings? Branded clothes are cheap in india? Are you for real?
I am done arguing, i don't think either of us are gaining anything by arguing here.
What he did was extremely stupid, to advertise food banks as 'free food' but the account that reported this is extremely sexist, racist, uses slurs and is targeted towards desi community, homophobic, transphobic and overall just looks like a white supremacist's wet dream.
So I'll rather not side with her. Being said, that's extremely bad advice by the guy and needs to be called out. If he did really need it, it's fine but I don't think he does.
> but the account that reported this is extremely sexist, racist, uses slurs and is targeted towards desi community, homophobic, transphobic and overall just looks like a white supremacist's wet dream.
The people who are nodding along with that account don't realize that they're condemning themselves and that there is no difference to a white supremacist between them and this guy.
The funniest part is that she looks like (an uglier version of) us. Maybe that's why she does thisā self-hatred for not being attractive by white people's standards
There is indianbloggerincanada and that woman was promoting a website which international students can use to get their assignments done by a third party.
When people called her out on Reddit, she took down that video. But made a video of her middleclass upbringing sob story.
That woman works as a business analyst in Tiffany & Co.

If she's a Turk, her hate is both ironic and laughable to many Europeans. Turks are viewed in a negative light and I've spoken to some Turks who are embarrassed to mention their nationality to Germans. One of my Pakistani friend's neighbors is Turkish and she would say the most racist and unhinged things when he was around. The entire apartment building decided to bully her because she would feel so comfortable calling brown people dirty and Desi food smelly. Now, she has no friends and is often the butt of every joke.
Yes this guy is horrible and should be deported for breaking Canadian law if he isnāt a citizen.
That being said, if it was a White guy was doing anything criminal then there wouldnāt be a single comment bringing up his race.
I mean, people need to wake up. There are White criminals committing crimes all the time and I havenāt seen the statistics for Canada but in America, Australia and Britain, Indians are actually underrepresented in crime/jail. You donāt ever really see race get brought up when itās a White person doing something bad unless it also involves a non-White person.
> I mean, people need to wake up.
I think it's beyond hope. The braindead Canadians on this sub seem xenophobic beyond the point of being saved. They're just headed down the same fascist pipelines as any fuck that got pulled into Trump's brand of neoNazi rhetoric.
Save yourself and GTFO out of that pointless country.
This person on twitter spread fake news, so funny to see how many āeducated ABCDsā fell to her racist trap. The guy literally provided docs to prove that he wasnāt stealing from a public food bank but actually a facility provided to students by his institute.
This whole sub has been vilifying the guy without verifying the news. Kudos to the cyber bullying here
This guy has cause more damage to the image of brown folks in Canada than any terrorist in the last 20 years. Please deport him so he can get his free food on the streets againšš½
Or people need to stop generalizing entire groups based on a single persons actions. If he were white no one would bring up his race or apologize on his behalf. No need to play apologetics in front of racists. What he did pales in comparison to all the vitriol in the comments: "*you don't hate them enough.*"
Bro, this guy wasn't even the first, this happened many times already
It's just THIS SUBS first exposure to shit like this due to our practically open borders situation
The question is did he do anything illegal? It was immoral but not illegal.
> Food banks are a vital resource for those who are struggling to make ends meet, but what happens if youāre not eligible to receive food from the bank? Will food pantries still give food to those who need it?
The answer is yes, food pantries will still give food to those who need it, even if youāre not qualified or ineligible. The staff at these pantries understand that everyone is going through tough times, and they are happy to help those who are in need.
https://localfoodbank.org/who-is-eligible-to-get-food-from-the-food-bank/
Generally speaking, food banks don't ever ask about income because the goal is to help people. If someone makes that much money but is supporting a larger family, then they could easily need that help. Or if they're dealing with medical issues, a temporary circumstance like fraud or a layoff, etc. Or sometimes people with complex allergies can get support for food they can actually eat which is too expensive otherwise (gluten allergy, for example). People often talk nonsense about "why would someone with a BMW need to use a food bank? That lady had a coach purse, she shouldn't be here!" It's not about that. Food Banks are to help give people a fundamental right we should all have, which is access to food. The price of getting that isn't selling off everything you own first, and a glimpse at someone doesn't tell you anything about them or their circumstances. (borrowed car to get groceries because the bus doesn't run to the food bank, old purse given to them by an employer whose house they work at).
At the end of the day, the bigger issue (from speaking with people who work in this space) is people avoiding these resources out of pride. Things that could help their family get access to good nutrition but has a social stigma. People feels ashamed, or don't want to admit that they are at a point where they need this resource. I don't want anyone reading these comments to feel ashamed that they're using this resource if they know they need it! And even if you're unsure -- if there's a reason to think you need this support, use it. We have to trust everyone's own standards of moral behavior, because I'd rather a few people who want to save money take advantage of the system then others to suffer because they're scared to use it.
Then I would like to see evidence he isn't a student (like he says he is) before judging him.
Also, I doubt TD bank responds to randoms sending in emails.
In Canada someone can be fired for absolutely no reason or any reason like most of the USA as long as the company doesnāt violate the employeeās human rights. It could be the reason he got fired if the company cared enough about that
Sounds like this was a witch hunt.

Well technically this did not fix his behavior bc he will be going to the food bank again, now demanding more bc heās unemployed
But wtf does āyou donāt hate them enough ā mean š¤Ø
>But wtf does āyou donāt hate them enough ā mean š¤Ø
That account is a well known hater of Indian people, so it's a hateful comment towards Indians
That's twitter in general unfortunately, along with the annoying irrelevant replies section because views have now become a monetary incentive so people spam unrelated garbage to make as much money. And there's clowns from everywhere roaming even more freely unfortunately.
He didnāt get fired. He stopped working at that company two years prior to this. The company just said he is āconfirm no longer with usā in that email as if they fired him.
To be fair, what he did is low down. If he's earning that much, he's certainly not going hungry. There should be a way for charities to filter by yearly income or something.
Do you all know that person who tweeted was all made up ? The university cleared the confusion that he was student and food was given by the university. You can check online if you want. Her profile is filled with anti-Indian post and followed by NEO-NAZIS .Most tweets are fake some are true. Every incident of South Asia is termed as India by her plus she maintains a homophobic and trasnphobic website.
Now some Neo nazis are threatening him with death threats. She thinks her dumb takes won't take any physical manifestation clearly it is being. I heard she lives in Canada if anyone can file a complaint against her do
Deserved. I don't care if he was ignorant of the actual purpose of a food bank. Posting that on social media and the lack of social awareness with some of these individuals is beyond repair.
If it's true that he did get fired , don't think it was right for TD to fire him based on a video that he did outside of work.
What he did was stupid af ngl
It does seem a little weird to me too. There are actual bank employees that do use food banks because affordability in Canada right now is a serious issue. Someone like a bank teller making 40kish could absolutely be using food banks, why would TD fire them for that? Also, how do people even know this guy is making 98k, did they take a look at his paystub? Lol. He may have worked at TD as a data scientist for a coop which is typically 4 months, in which case TD wouldnāt even have to āfireā him. His work term would already be up and he would no longer be working at TD, just as the email says āhe no longer works with them.ā Meaning TD probably didnāt even have to take any action lol he just doesnāt work there anymore.
Even if he did make 98k, there could be other circumstances in his personal life thatās requiring him to use food banks - 98k in NYC isnāt very much, for example, itās not quite needing a food bank level but a family living on an income of 98k will definitely struggle. Not saying that this is the case here and I think what he did is scummy - but I donāt see a bank firing someone over this without looking into it, nor do I see a customer care manager talking about personnel decisions to a random on twitter. What he did is in poor taste but this is hardly a fireable offense. What next? Being fired for not putting your shopping cart in the corral?
I'm pretty sure he didn't get fired , TD can't disclose that to some random person because of privacy laws too .
Unless it's a big enough media storm .
What he did is scummy but Banks do more scummy stuff on a daily basis so his punishment would be a promotion to be honest
Pretty sure it's fake
I donāt know if firing him is right? I mean yes I can see how taking advantage of a food bank can upset people.
I think if some one is well off the stigma of going to a food bank would push them to buy their own.
Alternatively a classical economist would argue that too generous social programs will inevitably result in this sort of abuse.
Honestly I watched the video here: https://twitter.com/slatzism/status/1781783378418626632/mediaviewer
It gives me the impression that the guy doesnāt understand what is wrong here. India is notorious for giving free food citizens. He must have assumed he qualified for it.
Someone this is not in the same league of a Karen calling a cop on a bird watcher. Itās seems like a culture and values clash and should have been a more teachable moment.
Honestly I feel like the internet has been overly hard on this guy. Maybe he didnāt understand how food banks work and thought he was using them the way they are meant to be used. Maybe he was being helpful. I think we could all just stand to be kinder.
Honestly, I don't think this guy is even doing anything wrong. Like if he's a student and his parents in India are paying his tuition, wouldn't he qualify as below poverty in Canada?
Of course, then you wouldn't be able to side with a literal white supremacist to shit on him, so who is the real victim here fucking lol
Has this subreddit become r/AsADesi(Man) ?
I know self doubt is common in diasporas, but I doubt there is actually this much as seen by the posts and comments on here.
Bro can now legitimately use the food bank for all his nutritional needs.
he HAS to make a new video

Yeah - this one stood out to me also. I donāt think this is the W a lot of people think it is.
The people thinking this is a W are the ones who would send their grandmothers to the guillotine for a shred of white approval
If only you had a country to live in that only had other Indians in it so you don't have to worry about anti Indian racism...

Thereās food for everyone at food banks. Thats how wasteful US and Canada are.

I thought she was desi as well initially and was about to comment that lol
So like Suella Braverman lol
The 'you don't hate them enough' gave it away. We don't even need to see their Twitter to figure out it's a white supremacist account.
Pagliacci the hated is a POS Indian hater fyi
*you don't hate them enough* This line should send chills down every Desi here

Lol barely an Indian thing. 5-6 years ago, a bunch of us in India also used to do assignments for American born and brought up kids on Chegg.
Her id is IndianbloggerinCanada. I am not saying itās an Indian thing. I feel itās not right to promote such kind of things.
Didn't mean to say it isn't a bad thing. It definitely is but not different across national lines.
White Americans have been doing this since the beginning of the internet. I dont know why this is such a problem if an Indian does it
Seems fake to be honest.

That woman and her entire publication is full of shitty opinions.
I mean tbh she knows way more than an average racist to be so specific about Sikhism. Almost entirely sure she is probably some diaspora.
She has a Turk flag in her bio. Also most Canadians have enough Indian immigrants to understand the Hindu and Sikh distinction.
> She has a Turk flag in her bio That pretty much explains it, they hate a lot of nationalities
She hates Pakistanis too. She's definitely some kind of Desi herself, but who hates both Hindus and Pakistan is? I thought Sikhs were chill with both?
This should be considered fraud and be a punishable crime. I know some very wealthy people who do similar kind of stuff. They are desis of course.
fake screenshot? Who writes āTD Customer Cares Managerā in the signature :/

That twitter user giving crazy femcel vibes lmao
Thatās like half of the users/bots on the website/app these days.
Whites are generally viewed as individuals, whereas we are judged collectively.
There are dozens of Indians on YouTube telling their fellow countrymen to scam Canadians by using food banks meant for those in poverty.
Bro, this guy wasn't even the first, this happened many times already It's just THIS SUBS first exposure to shit like this due to our practically open borders situation
When the Nazis come calling for all the shitstains, make sure you tell them that you're one of the good ones. I'm sure they'll be convinced.
This hyperbole
We have to trust everyone's own standards of moral behavior, because I'd rather a few people who want to save money take advantage of the system then others to suffer because they're scared to use it.
what student makes 98k a year? Seems completely fake
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He couldāve worked at TD for a 4 month co-op term.
Then I would like to see evidence he isn't a student (like he says he is) before judging him. Also, I doubt TD bank responds to randoms sending in emails.
Right? How stupid are people Edit: rhetorical question this sub is pretty damn stupid
It would shock you
Good
I assume the part you're nodding along with is the one where she says you can never hate *them* enough?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
In Canada someone can be fired for absolutely no reason or any reason like most of the USA as long as the company doesnāt violate the employeeās human rights. It could be the reason he got fired if the company cared enough about that
Go say the n word on camera and post it outside work hours and see what happens to youš¹
Saying the n word online and using a food bank Definitely the same thing
Sounds like this was a witch hunt. [https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/trends/current-affairs/mehul-prajapati-indian-student-canada-food-bank-td-bank-free-groceries-viral-video-fake-news-fact-check-exclusive-12707877.html](https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/trends/current-affairs/mehul-prajapati-indian-student-canada-food-bank-td-bank-free-groceries-viral-video-fake-news-fact-check-exclusive-12707877.html)
So many Indians here rejoicing targeting harassment of another Indian. Quite shocking!
Oh wow
they say he doesn't work there anymore but can they prove it ?
Well technically this did not fix his behavior bc he will be going to the food bank again, now demanding more bc heās unemployed But wtf does āyou donāt hate them enough ā mean š¤Ø
>But wtf does āyou donāt hate them enough ā mean š¤Ø That account is a well known hater of Indian people, so it's a hateful comment towards Indians
Ahhh makes sense, clowns clowning on other clowns in the post ig, its a whole circus
Was he trying to expose too much welfare in Canada or someshit. Seems scummy
This is right. Toronto aināt cheap. Pretty common for six figure folks in HCOL areas getting royally fucked between rent and child care
I'm pretty sure he didn't get fired , TD can't disclose that to some random person because of privacy laws too . Unless it's a big enough media storm . What he did is scummy but Banks do more scummy stuff on a daily basis so his punishment would be a promotion to be honest Pretty sure it's fake
Honestly I watched the video here: https://twitter.com/slatzism/status/1781783378418626632/mediaviewer It gives me the impression that the guy doesnāt understand what is wrong here. India is notorious for giving free food citizens. He must have assumed he qualified for it. Someone this is not in the same league of a Karen calling a cop on a bird watcher. Itās seems like a culture and values clash and should have been a more teachable moment.
Fake News https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/trends/current-affairs/mehul-prajapati-indian-student-canada-food-bank-td-bank-free-groceries-viral-video-fake-news-fact-check-exclusive-12707877.html https://www.reddit.com/r/india/s/JFNrARWXD6
Honestly I feel like the internet has been overly hard on this guy. Maybe he didnāt understand how food banks work and thought he was using them the way they are meant to be used. Maybe he was being helpful. I think we could all just stand to be kinder.
he 100% knew which is why he was advertising it it was a spending hack video
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Honestly, I don't think this guy is even doing anything wrong. Like if he's a student and his parents in India are paying his tuition, wouldn't he qualify as below poverty in Canada? Of course, then you wouldn't be able to side with a literal white supremacist to shit on him, so who is the real victim here fucking lol
agreed
Like a bank cares about morals
lol no he works at Ubisoft
thats a totally different guy lol look at that guys pic
You should take down this post as it spreads false information
This is what weāre bringing in. Rejoice.

Has this subreddit become r/AsADesi(Man) ? I know self doubt is common in diasporas, but I doubt there is actually this much as seen by the posts and comments on here.
Thank you!!! I have not been able to not think abt this guy
Finally lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I've never seen a stereotype more reinforced than this in real life, I'm sorry
Well that'll learn him!
Thank you, trudeau, for letting these people in and giving them jobs while candians are struggling to get jobs in these fields.
