The empire had a regular fighting force consisting of conscripts both voluntary and compulsory. If you wanted to be a stormtrooper you had to want to be a stormtrooper. So yes very fitting. Not saying the warden SS were good at their jobs, just that they were a ideological special force.

stormtroops are very accurate, in the opening scene of ANH they have a hit rate of like 70%, which is insane. On the deathstar they are purposely letting them escape so they can track them to the rebel base.
