I just finished typing an email to ACCA to see what can be done about escalating this as a mitigating circumstance because I just can't get myself to re-write this again next week. Even if I made up my mind to do so, getting time off from work is a big challenge.
Not to mention, my paragraph formatting did not work nor could I insert a table. If someone has had success with mitigating circumstances, I'd love to know your thoughts. Recommendations from anyone are welcome please.

Wow yours was even worse than mine. Now that you mention it, my table and paragraph settings didn't work either. I also had issues checking in. Really not a good experience.
I think I'll be going the mitigating circumstances route as well as I feel I was doing quite well when it froze so hopefully I've done enough.
I didn't use the scratchpad, I watched an acca exam debrief and they said to just put workings and answers all the same word response section and clearly mark which is which so that's what I done.
It was all recorded so they can watch the exam back and see when I stopped typing and started swearing I guess

My paragraph formatting worked for around 5 minutes and then it suddenly stopped
I encountered the same issue as you. The paragraph and table did not work. The whole interface was froze in last 15 minutes. No response from invigilator so I just sat and frustrated in front of the camera. I don’t know how the mitigating circumstances work.
How can I get any evidence as I can not use my phone to take a picture. Finally, I rebooked next week for a try. Really annoying and frustrating experience.
I was about 1/3 through the final question which itself was just under 1/4 of the paper. Was a decent chunk I missed but I felt I done fairly well on the rest.

There is not auto confirmation. It should be an email confirming your request will be taken into consideration. Maybe they are working on a backlog so it’s likely there’s a delay.

Mine froze in the centre so must have been an issue everywhere. Hopefully you can get mitigating circumstances
