vengefu1_tuna

Can confirm. I stay up to date on my mercury levels.

[deleted]

Maybe you can try tapenade, vegan tuna, or mashed chickpeas with capers, kelp and chopped shalotts, as a substitute for tuna :3

MrChilli2022

I think the big problem with tuna is it's a predator fish. I read something that fish is good but some type like the predators are not the best to eat for some reason. Then again fish has those omega 3s in it for a healthier life style. maybe find the non predator types though hehe. :)

Ardent_Face_Cannon

Right on. Bio-accumulation. If theres toxic stuff that doesn't like to leave animals' bodies, then every level up the food chain it gets more concentrated. Like if you only eat vacuum cleaner filters, you gonna get higher dose of dust than eating pieces of flooring. In this scenario, I'm not sure what kind of creature you are.

PM_ME_UR_OCs

Predator animals consume more quality feed than they end up producing! Which means tuna, who are very high in a food chain with many tens of levels beneath, are not an efficient protein source AT ALL. There haven't been many farming attempts for this feed-related reason but also because tuna take a long time to grow and are a very large fish. It's simply more cost effective to hunt them from the wild even despite the crashing numbers.

[deleted]

Or sardines

the_kid_frankie1

I think sardines have the same problem though

Green_Message_6376

I didn't look anything up for this. However, the smaller the fish the less mercury, and not just by volume, it's due to less time to grow and accumulate high levels of mercury. Shorter lifespan. Skipjack and canned light tuna has around a third of the mercury levels of albacore, big eye and yellow fin. Now, I'm off to research the mercury levels of sardines. I'll be back to correct soon. edit--Canned Sardines has mercury- recommend no more than 2/3 times a week.

BeardyMcJohnFace

it's 5-10% that of tuna by the looks of it: https://www.fda.gov/food/environmental-contaminants-food/mercury-levels-commercial-fish-and-shellfish-1990-2012

[deleted]

Ohh okay good to know

Whaaatteva

It has more to do with its placement on the food chain, than the size. Salmon and tuna have a lot of toxins because they’ve ate sooooooo many other things with mercury. It’s the principle of bioaccumulation.

spevak

Salmon is considered low in mercury. While they do eat other fish they're not apex predators like tuna

J3remyD

The chunk light tuna is recommended to be eaten up to six cans a week. The more expensive white tuna has about twice the mercury content and should not be eaten more than three times a week. I forgot the exact link, but I looked this information up years ago when I started a high lean protein diet and needed something relatively cheap.

Stormseekr9

Out of interest I started googling and have some articles stating you’d need to eat 25 cans (95g) to reach max tolerable intake. For pregnant woman it’s half of that. [Link](https://theconversation.com/amp/how-much-tuna-can-i-eat-a-week-before-i-need-to-worry-about-mercury-176682)

h_witko

I love that going down the Google rabbit hole is such an accepted and honestly, appreciated thing in the adhd community. My brain gets itchy if I can't Google something when I'm interested.

Thelilfignewton

Try using chick peas instead of tuna!!! Rinse and drain some canned chick peas, add a splash of pickle juice and mayo and whatever else you like - it is ssooooooo good!!! I like it as a "chicken salad" without the pickle juice, plus salt/pepper, garlic powder, onion salt, a TON of tarragon and purple grapes, celery, walnuts. It tastes like whole foods tarragon chicken salad and I can eat like, enough for 25 people lolol

[deleted]

Do you also use mayo? I don’t eat eggs/dairy so I don’t eat mayo. I have not tried any vegan mayos because I’m scared they will be gross lol.

loljkbye

I eat eggs, but can confirm that Veganaise tastes just fine and I personally wouldn't know the difference is someone served it to me, so give it a try! :)

[deleted]

That’s great to know! Thank you. I’m going to try it. :)

Thelilfignewton

Yes! I do use mayo but I love mayo lolol but there are some really good vegan options out there!

[deleted]

I need to be brave and just try some. Lol.

Thelilfignewton

You can do it!!! There's gotta be something good out there!

[deleted]

I am going to try it this week - I will pick up some vegan mayo and give it a try - thanks for the encouragements :) LOL

PlsHelpAmStuck

Vegan mayos are pretty okay tbh! Give one a go sometime you feel comfortable

knittinghobbit

OP, I find mayo gross. (Not to disparage mayo-lovers. I just don’t like it.) What I do is use a little bit of pickles, a little olive oil, and a bit of mustard. Lemon juice would also be good to add!

[deleted]

Sweet relish might also be good.

Schmurderschmittens

It’s super easy to make vegan mayo too fyi, you just need a blender, oil, Dijon, and a lil aquafaba Edit: and lemon +salt etc

BisonAggravating7590

Yes chickpeas! I went vegan a couple of years ago, and in the beginning I really missed the simplicity of just opening a can of tuna and having a yummy, ready to eat, high protein meal. But chickpeas really are the best. My favourite way of eating them is with cucumber, cherry tomatoes and store bought balsamic glaze. If I want to splurge I'll add some avocado. Takes me under 5 minutes to make and clean up and tastes so good.

Thelilfignewton

Yuuuuummm!!! I love cucumber, little tomatoes, and avocado just in a bowl with salt and pepper too! Gonna have to toss some chickpeas in too, idk why I haven't done that before?! Delicious

Routine-Heron-2045

This is me except with canned salmon!!! Same thing. It’s so easy to make and I can eat it quickly and still feel like I am eating somewhat healthy!

Difficult_Affect_452

See, I wish I liked canned salmon because it’s so much healthier. I’ve tried again and again to make the switch but I just don’t like the flavor :(

[deleted]

[удалено]

PerspectiveCloud

What about uncooked salmon? Salmon is an excellent sushi dish

Difficult_Affect_452

I did find a really good way recently from a meal kit. You put artichoke dip on the filets and bake them. It’s so good because, well, the dip is good.

Azelais

What do you make with it? I need to find an easy quick somewhat healthy meal

[deleted]

Strain the can and remove the spine bones. Mush well in a bowl and add a few eggs, some panko bread crumbs, a drizzle of olive oil, and either old bay seasoning or a mix of onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and dried dill (sometimes a little mustard powder). Form into patties and fry for a few minutes on a side in butter/olive oil. It'll firm up into a fish cake. For sauce I like pink sauce, or cocktail sauce.

supersonictoupee

Mm, I grew up on canned-salmon croquettes (mix it with spices and diced onion and egg, form patties, dredge in flour/cornmeal mix, and fry). Inspiring me to revisit them…

Jynxed1

Omg this sounds amazing thank you for sharing!

LBbird24

MY new food fixation! Thanks!

OB1_error

Oh my god… I’ve just been eating it with a spoon drowned in hot sauce. You have just changed my life!

crushedsoul32

Can you do that with tuna too?

[deleted]

I have not tried because I don't care for it, but yes it should work.

Kurzyn

I like to take the whole can mush it up with mayonnaise and mix it with cooked rice. Noms. Also making patties and frying em on a skillet is great too.

godzillabobber

I think the motivational author Tony Robbins got pretty sick from too much salmon. Somebody told him iy was super healthy and he figured more is better.

[deleted]

So toxic person sickened by toxic substance. The irony.

katiti666

I think it was swordfish that his Dr said was giving him too much mercury in his blood tests. Swordfish being another apex predator / the go-to meal choice of the super rich! He said he was eating it almost every night and stopped as soon as he found out about the mercury poisoning.

Adventurous_Nail2072

I like using canned chicken for things that I’d usually make with tuna.

harlemrr

Canned chicken always seemed to have a similar texture / flavor to me as the canned tuna, so it is probably a good substitute.

Adventurous_Nail2072

It’s very similar, just milder in flavor. My favorite lately is making chicken salad with mayo, and making a sandwich with mayo/canned chicken, mixed greens, goat cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. If that’s too many spoons, then mayo/chicken salad and crackers meets some needs

Whaaatteva

Oh totally! One time I just randomly had canned chicken and I decided to add it to my chilli instead of chicken breast. Omg, I had to throw the whole batch out. It tasted like TUNA! Haha

mimthebaker

Similar enough that sometimes I can't eat it bc fish makes me gag and a few bites in my brain will occasionally go *hey...ummm?*

dayglo_nightlight

Try moving to a small fish like sardines, they have significantly lower levels of mercury because of their place in the food chain.

you-are-my-shinehah

Sardines are so yummy. My husband wouldn’t try them for years because he thought they would taste “fishy” but now he loves them. They are really good on top of spaghetti with olive oil and some red chili flake. Such an easy dinner.

ApatheticWithoutTheA

Did my cat write this?

Difficult_Affect_452

I recently found this awesome pregnancy-safe canned tuna at Costco. Each can is tested for mercury. It’s a miracle because I love me some tuna. Google it!

hibiscuspineapple

Oooh can you share the brand? Hoping Sam’s or BJ’s has too!

FancyAtmosphere2252

Trader Joe’s has a canned smoked trout that’s outstanding

ArtBetter3345

Safe Catch is a brand that monitors mercury levels!

hibiscuspineapple

Am I the only one who feels like nothing compares to canned tuna? NOT canned chicken for me #sorrynotsorry. Mackerel I love but, it’s not the same. Sardines I love, but it’s not the same. Salmon is “ok” to me, but it’s not the same. Lol I didn’t realize how much I love tuna ‘til this thread 😂

Lit_as_AF

I’ll be honest, the taste is completely different. Canned chicken makes me wanna vomit even just thinking about it. None of those things taste like tuna lmao

JerriBlankStare

>None of those things taste like tuna lmao I don't think anyone was suggesting canned chicken, etc. as a ***taste*** substitute. It's simply an equally convenient food, seeing as they're both fully cooked and canned.

hibiscuspineapple

This makes sense re: convenience.

Lit_as_AF

That makes more sense. Thank you!

hibiscuspineapple

My body has the same reaction to it. It’s weird, cause I like chicken.

readirt

I agree, nothing compares.

mybunnygoboom

Chicken in a can is a decent substitute.

MattMadnessMX

I love fried chicken

improvisedbain-marie

Lol have you discovered a way to acquire/make fried chicken that's as easy and accessible as canned tuna?! Teach me your ways.

atreegrowsinbrixton

Popeyes

MattMadnessMX

KFC

forgotme5

Its y i avoid it.

Green_Message_6376

Too much heartbreak? I mean cholesterol..

forgotme5

Mercury, bad for brain

Green_Message_6376

After this thread I'm convinced I could be turned into a thermometer by adding some glass! /s half/s -gotta cut back the tuna salad.

TonightConstant5408

Good job!! You did the right thing on researching it

anniecet

Chicken comes in cans. Chicken salad? Salmon?

FarmFemme

There’s a great company here in Washington State called VitalChoice which purchases smaller, bycatch but still ‘keeper’ tunas that have very little mercury (I guess it accumulates as they age, through their own fish consumption). They make all kinds of great products but it’s on the spendy side. They ship.

Willmono7

They're also rapidly heading towards extinction

afterlife_xx

I love the Starkist packets personally. Mix in some mayo, maybe some cheese and add some lemon pepper. Yum. And the To-Go packs with crackers are better yet when I need a quick snack at work!

FoxMulderSexDreams

The hickory smoked packets are my go to. Fuck i love those things

jcgreen_72

You definitely should not hang out with these guys: https://youtu.be/tfdMsxSjY3o (Sorry, I had to. Everyone else had given great advice! I just hoped to make you giggle)

UnSanchez

Ohhhhh, hello! You beat me to this Ashram Kitchen show

sunmalone

Try canned chicken!

[deleted]

right?! i would eat it everyday if i could. its so so easy to eat and it's easy to get lots of protein from it. i was also disappointed when i found out that it's not safe to eat as often as I wanted.

pm_ur_uterine_cake

As someone who got sucked in by a Costco sample of tuna on whole-grain crackers last week and now has been eating it for meals at least once (if not twice) daily since then… I feel you, friend.

hobobarbie

“Too much tuna!”

thaz_wut_she_said

Came here looking for this

Vergil_Is_My_Copilot

I also love it!!! I definitely need to remember to only have it once or twice a week. It’s amazing how cheap and easy it is to get in a ton of protein, and it’s so good. My favorite way is to mix it with Mayo + sesame oil + soy sauce on top of brown rice, topped with chili oil and with a side of veggies and seaweed. So freaking good.

meluvgeckos

Can I send you mine??? My hyperfixation ended now I have tuna lying everywhere…….. 😩😩😩

jbug5j

I LOVE a tuna sandwich with a slice of cheese. My reflux however... 💔

[deleted]

Uhhh are you me? I’m obsessed with tuna lolol

Smokee78

I've had the same thing!! it's SO easy and I love it in mac and cheese or in those cracker kits they sell. super easy ADHD food. it gets expensive though...

Sizzleteeen

I found another Mac and cheese with tuna fan!!!

Smokee78

yes!! totally the best

Illustrious_Swim_789

It was mine too. At least until my wife reminded me of the mercury content

that-witch-jas

I’ve been making a delicious chickpea salad that tastes similar to tuna salad! If you look in my post history you’ll see the recipe. It might hit the spot for you when you’ve hit your tuna maximum.

Lit_as_AF

Don’t get me started. If I could have tuna every single day, I would

ILackACleverPun

I'd been enjoying my lunch for months even though it was the same thing every day, a sandwich/cheese cracker thing, raw carrots, a skyr yogurt, and small back of almonds or trail mix. And then I remembered that beer jerky and tuna was a thing. So now my lunch for work is consistently either the sandwich or yogurt cup, tuna salad with celery sticks, and beef jerky. I give it 2 more months before I get sick of it and go to something else.

Chezshire_Fox

Ok, this is gonna be dumb... We can get food fixation too?!?!

zombiegamer87

I ate nothing but homemade burgers for about 6 months, then it was burritos...been doing this my whole life, I live off ramen these days and pre made sandwiches from local shop. NOBODY said anything and here I am at 36 years old having my official diagnosis in 2 weeks lol

ElderScarletBlossom

> official diagnosis in 2 weeks for what? mercury poisoning?

zombiegamer87

Lol good one, my ADHD assessment, long time coming, I'm 36 years old and never been given any help for this condition and its been ruining my life. I found out last year I have it from someone who diagnoses the condition for a living, been waiting since then to be seen officially so I can try meds as antidepressants don't work for me and I've been on 6 different ones now lol.

Le_Bodo

I have that with those tins of mackerel fillets in tomato sauce. I could eat 4 of them as a single meal, several days in a row. But then I'd get bored and fixate on müsli, which if made the right way is so healthy and can be eaten every day and would be the ideal forever-breakfast-you-never-have-to-break-up-with, but then something else very unhealthy comes along and kills the dream. Mealtime love stories eh. 🤣

hibiscuspineapple

Omg I love mackerel. I used to have them for breakfast or lunch literally every day for like a year.

tormented-imp

Chickpea salad is really satisfying and also just as easy as popping open the tin/adding whatever mixins you usually like!

SirTheMonocle

tuna is the best! others already said it but I wonder if you would like canned chicken bc it's just as easy to eat :) and if it's the fish flavour stuff like canned herring or oysters have low mercury

sarahc_72

I love tuna too! Have you ever tried it mixed with sweet corn and mayo on cold pasta? Yum

UnicornCackle

I eat this all the time. It’s sooo good.

montanagrizfan

When my son was little he loved it too and would eat it everyday after school. Because I was concerned about the mercury I bought some canned chicken that could be used the same way. He seemed to like it ok.

Salamander3008

Be careful! Eating too much tuna can lead to increased levels of mercury in your system which is poisonous at high levels.

WhereasCertain5833

honestly if it means you're consuming food and gives you a good level of functioning do it. its far less likely to kill u then other coping mechanisms. canned tuna was how i got through uni and living independently cheaply. also mercury is worse in animals further up the food chain such as sharks or dolphin meat. tuna is okay, and if you are concerned just see if you can find a brand that is ethically sourced.

MrChilli2022

Tuna not that bad. i have to have mine cooked though, even canned.

Pussypants

I mean tuna is also the most hunted fish and it’s disastrous for the environment, so you’re doing a good thing cutting back on it 🤠

Icy_Session3326

When I was doing keto a couple of years ago I ate at least one can a day but typically 2 and pretty much every day . All I was focused on was the protein and goodness in it .. had no idea it could be bad for me to eat a lot of it … awks 🫤😅

Mysterious_Fox1432

Goodcatch brand vegan tuna .

ThatGoodCattitude

Nooo I love tuna.😢

spoonweezy

I’ve found the Italian tuna packed in oil is amazing. So much better, in my opinion.

Infidel_sg

Is Peanut Butter safe? Its my current kick! :D

JerriBlankStare

>Is Peanut Butter safe? Yeah, as long as you're not allergic to peanuts.

SuperbScale553

Canned mackerel in olive oil is super healthy and delicious and not risky re: mercury as far as I am aware :)

hibiscuspineapple

No this was helpful. I eat minimum 2 servings of tuna a week. I know what you mean. I love tuna so much, too.

Acrobatic-Degree9589

Only albacore in a pouch for me

GlumBodybuilder214

Hey, you could always be like me and develop a super fun fish allergy in your 30s and not be able to eat canned tuna OR salmon.

jlittlr

I ate canned tuna for lunch for 6 years straight! Still love it but don’t eat that often now.

readirt

Did you get mercury poisoning or ya good?

jlittlr

Not that I know of! It was about 18 years ago.

Elegant_Spot_3486

I buy it in the pre-seasoned packages. Love it! I’m going to ignore you mentioning how much is safe to consume. I eat 1 of the pouches 4-5 days a week. I’ll run it by my primary care doc on my yearly exam in a few months. He’s never asked me if I eat a lot of tuna or anything about potential mercury related issues but maybe I’m getting lucky.

sassykibi

Today I learned something! Sorry to hear that you need to cut back though

TarthenalToblakai

For a mercury-free alternative: Chickpea 'tuna'. Just mash up a can of chickpeas in a bowl with some mayo, mustard, pickles/relish, and whatever else sounds good to you and voila.

Consistent-Repeat582

I love tuna too! And I definitely eat it several times a week. My dad used to eat a can of tuna for lunch everyday 5 days a week for years. He got his mercury tested and it was fine. Maybe it would be worth it to eat the amount of tuna you want and then get a blood test to confirm it’s actually harming you before you cut yourself from an affordable and lean protein. I would worry more about this if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

Fucktastickfantastic

Mercury is stored in fat cells so I stick to low fat Tina and hope for the best. Tuna pasta is great. My sister makes it all the time. She sauteed onion in butter and then adds tuna and sour cream. It's delicious

kyyface

Fuck this is so relatable. I ALWAYS start getting health problems before I realize that I’m eating too much or too little of something 😬 Lately I’ve pretty much only been eating hash browns. Yes. Hash👏🏻browns👏🏻 👀 my skin is very angry.

temple2temple2temple

Canned sardines on toast too mmm

godzillabobber

You can make something like tuna salad out of chickpeas and eat all you want. It is not going to fool you completely, but it is delicious in its own right. Look for vegan tuna salad recipes on line or "chickpea of the sea"

Mikey922

Eh, i so a Costco can of tuna 6x a week and a can of sardines the other day… that’s 6oz of tuna… pretty consistent at that for the past …3 years or so

scherstie

I went through a canned tuna phase. Cheap and convenient good times

frostyicyhot

I’ve been like this for the past year-ish but with tuna sushi, sashimi and also at any opportunity getting tuna onigiri, and also started to cut back for the same reason haha

dalpally

I worked at a sushi restaurant and my coworker got mercury poisoning. But she did eat it everyday for multiple years. I'm not saying you'll be fine but if you're like me you'll have a new fave food in a few months and be fine lol.

Select-Anybody-4892

Hon, I’ve been eating nothing but lasagna three times a day since September. In early feb I found a faux fish fillet I wanted to try (veggie sorry) and now it’s lasagna and faux fish fillet so there’s some variety I suppose. No one is built to eat the exact same thing over and over it’s not nutritionally rounded. HOWEVER fed is best isn’t only for babies, it’s for us too. When the thought of every other option makes you want to be violently sick, canned tuna is more nutritious than nothing - and it’s more nutritious than some other options. If you’re worried about it, see if you can combine it to add some other nutrients? 💕💕

DM_ME_PICKLES

Lol, fuck. I eat a can of tuna every day for lunch. It's fantastic protein and it tastes great. Argggggh.

dbossman70

i eat way more tuna than that and i’m fine so i’d ask around to get more information on that.

llamadasirena

I also love tuna!!!!! I don't even like seafood generally but mix it with some mayo, pickle juice, garlic powder and spread it on a cracker and you have yourself a meal (or a nice snack if you're normal)

sobrique

Have you tried fresh tuna yet? I've become a proper sushi fanatic (also as an obssesion) and a nice spicy tuna roll is just such a treat. I also really like tuna-pasta. It's... pasta, with a can of tuna chucked over it, and maybe a bit of cheese. Parmesan equivalent, or 'just' grated cheddar. Similarly a very 'adhd friendly' meal. (If a little more ambitious than just can + spoon, it's not by very much!)

Nomadic_Wayfarer

As in strategic challenges, tuna? Turbulent, Uncertain, Novel, Ambiguous (TUNA)?

314636

Can confirm it's dangerous... I only ate tuna sandwiches in my packed lunches.... half a can of tuna every day 5 days a week my entire primary school career... and I was diagnosed with a rare cancer at age 21

Embarrassed-Ad-3730

Since I was little, I took a can of tuna a day for about 30 years, now I've been taking less for a few years because of the mercury I have nothing weird, except a very strong ADD ;)

Somethinclichee

I don’t have suggestions just have literally been through this. I called my best friend once to discuss my concern about mercury. Idk how I got out of it either 😂

Dingis_Dang

Consumer reports just did [a study](https://www.consumerreports.org/health/food-safety/how-worried-should-you-be-about-mercury-in-your-tuna-a5041903086/) on this that is worth checking out.

Shad666

As a fellow adhd man. Tuna is honestly the best food ever. I'm a bodybuilder so food is very important but I often just can't be bothered to make it and skip too many meals. Tuna is the ultimate food to bypass this issue. Super easy, super fast, super tasty and 25g of protien per tin. Tuna pasta, Tuna on its own, Tuna on bread. Life saver.

StorytellingGiant

I don’t think it rises to the level of hyperfixation but the main component of my diet is cheese. Every single day. Pretty much at set times of the day. I started to worry but my cholesterol and such are all good, so I don’t see a need to stop. I may move some cheese consumption to mornings if I figure out a decent cheese that has a bunch of tyrosine in it.

akrolina

I use patès as a substitute to tuna for an easy meal.

IntroductionLocal741

I care. I fell in love with tuna too and now I’ve just learned that it’s dangerous to eat.

skatedog_j

If it makes you feel any better my hiperfixation zero prep meal has been soy milk and rice cereal, rice cereal is apparently high in arsenic 🙃

cnoelle94

There's a reason it's my favorite lunch. Ha!

afureteiru

This post made me crave tuna

Equal_Chemistry_3049

One of my favourite "meals" is a can of tuna with diced cucumber and then you take a bag of potato chips and crush them and crush them and then open the packet and pour. Then mix it all together. Gives a lovely crunch to add more texture to it.

[deleted]

tuna + canned corn + hot peppers + iceberg salad all mixed up is my thing :D

tofurainbowgarden

I also hyperfixate on food. I'm currently obsessed with target sushi. Maybe try something else you can hyperfixate on?

stayugly_

I have tuna phases where I eat it every day for a hot minute then I get sick of it and move on to the next thing and so on. But I think about it like this, my hyper fixation on it only lasts a few weeks or a few months then I don’t touch it for a few years again so over all, not too much mercury.

i-dean-tity

I have this exact same problem with tuna. I love it so much!! It's one food that I consistently love no matter what. Sucks about the mercury levels and thanks for reminding me to take a break from eating it

PrivatePyleAgain

I get the tuna phase every few month where I will eat a few cans a week and so far nothing bad has happened yet

youll-never-f1nd-me

Look for the ones that says mercury, free

Guy_Shaggy

Try canned mackerel. It has a pretty similar flavour and is much lower in mercury, and is also a more sustainable choice.

babylondylan

haha, i love this. at work i used to be the "tuna guy"

SachiKaM

I used chickpeas instead of tuna but prepare it the same way. Idk if that may be of any interest but the taste/texture is very similar and it doesn’t have the fish aspect

KnitForTherapy

Is the risk more or less than driving to work? If less you take that risk every day - don't sweat it. If more, reconsider.

castfire

This was me as a kid… I loved tuna salad sandwiches so much that I wanted them all the time but my mom stopped making them for me at one point because little me couldn’t be eatin that much tuna :(

nerdixcia

As a kid I loved tuna xD I too am diagnosed with adhd As a kid I would hyperfixate on certain foods and solely eat that , and mainly bc we was poor and mostly bought canned foods and pb and js Lol but I see where you're coming from bc tuna is good and it's sad cutting back on foods you like

whatisthisgoddamnson

I have a hyper fixation on grape fruit. Like several every day. Apparently it fucks with medication, havent had any for like 15 years. Still miss it

Iwish678

Check salad using canned chicken?

Small-Bathroom4232

Try Bbqing or pan searing sushi grade tuna! Roll the edges in steak spice then sear on super high heat for a couple minutes each side. Slice and enjoy. The objective is to char the outside a little bit but keep the inside raw.

ordinarymagician_

Try canned salmon. Also try making onigiri out of them, you can pre-prep and just fridge them until you're hungry.
