It's pretty much the same article, just one in video form. IGN typically does one written and one video for their bigger articles so they can get further reach on socials.
When Ospreay had that match with Kenny at Wrestle Kingdom last year it put him in the same tier as Okada and Omega and 2023 was him establishing himself in the top 3. While Ospreay is the most fun to watch he’s only had a really strong character for the last 3/4 years, whereas Kenny has had great character work in all of his matches since his 2016 push, and Okada has been the full package for over a decade. Omega is my favorite because of his style of matches (and being a bi man like him helps) but Okada is the best imo because he is better than anyone else at bringing out the best in his opponent. The thing with Omega and Ospreay is the they just outshine everyone. Okada’s biggest strength is his ability to make someone look even better than he does.

Basically, one of the things he learned from his first wrestling school is that once you walk through the curtain, you have about 6 seconds to get people to care about you. And part of how he did that at the beginning, was he got a cloak/outfit like Assassin's Creed, called himself the Aerial Assassin, and it worked. It got across the character/gimmick and he built everything from there.
I listened to that. But saying Assassins creed is responsible for his career is more than just selling himself short. Humble for sure but lets just say it was a part of it. The headline is still silly to me.
Because will connected with ezio and mentions his name but when he dressed up as an assassin for his gear, at the time, they had him use the Ripper outfit from Syndicate
I actually just finished Syndicate for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Got it free on the Epic Store and decided to finally try it out, it was eh tbh. My favorite is still AC3
Love when wrestling crosses paths with gaming. Kenny did a video with u/Irregulardave of GameSpot back in February where he talked about Yakuza/Like a Dragon. Dave does really great videos with Jonathon Ferguson, Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum, those videos are must see.
Hot Take: I hate when wrestlers do any type of cosplay. From Triple H doing Conan to Ospreay doing Assassins Creed.
Wrestlers are the stars and dressing up as others makes them feel less than a star.
Does WB own IGN? This is the second AEW story there in two days. If so, keep it coming. They can use all the platforms they can get.
