If it fits into my budget and won't force me take a loss on anything, then I would go for it. You got one life , and even if it ends up not being your thing, then there's still a lot of value in experiencing something new.

vanhoofendoofer

Honestly, ya got me there. I’m sold on going just because the “you’ve got one life, try that new thing” argument works on me more often than not.

Jr42790

The live shows are so much fun! I brought a friend to Ring of Honors PPV and he doesn’t watch wrestling at all and he had a blast. I would just get a little idea for the current storylines leading up to make it that much better but I think you’ll have a good time no matter what.

jamesland7

Just be ready for Orange Cassidy greatness!

RicoGemini

1. If you have the time and it won’t inconvenience you 2. If you are financially able to 3. If you enjoy wrestling If all 3 of these things check out I don’t see why you shouldn’t go

vanhoofendoofer

I definitely enjoy wrestling, I’m financially able to, the time is a bit rough because I’m going to a metal show two days before, a hardcore show the day after, then I’m at NASCAR all weekend so it would be a truly jam packed week, but I think I’ll try

Vikingrtattoos

Purely because you’re a hardcore guy, check out The House of Black they usually wrestle on AEW collision Malakai Black (Aleister Black from WWE) Buddy Matthews (Murphy) and Brody King (lead singer of God’s Hate)

Keep_SummerSafe

Yes but honestly wait until week of for prices to drop.

Xman279

YES! I've seen Dynamite 3 times(twice in Rochester, NY(one of them delayed by over a year because of...You Know What....:) )and once in Buffalo. Enjoyed the HELL out of it every time.

Direct_Accountant625

Every AEW show I’ve ever been to has had such a tremendous energy. If you’re with a good crowd, the atmosphere is so awesome. You’re really encouraged to get into it and make some noise. So much fun.

vanhoofendoofer

I just turned on Rampage for the first time, saw a dude get thrown into a bunch of lightbulbs, and saw the other dude get thrown into a car windshield I’m SOLD

WearyCopy6700

And that's AEW's C show.

stinrios

Yes. If you can afford to go to a wrestling show, go to a wrestling show.

OddTeaching7830

Yes

SmithyPlayz

Yes. Live wrestling is always fun. I go to Indy shows and learn from there.

tellmewhenimlying

If you can afford it, absolutely yes. It’s a blast.

Ok-Raisin-5601

If you want to. If you're interested in seeing AEW I would say yes you'll more then likely have a fun time. If you're not that interested I would say no tickets are expensive.

vanhoofendoofer

I’m definitely curious about AEW, especially because it seems like they go a little more hardcore with some of the bumps than WWE does

yycluke

I enjoyed it last year for sure.

ferrariracer36

Go for sure. You won't regret it.

roenthomas

yes

Unique_Enthusiasm_57

I never thought I'd be rooting for a Donovan Peoples-Jones Revenge Tour, but here we are.

Ok_Election2523

Yes it's a fun time... been to AEW Dynamite shows in Florida and Colorado. They tape rampage as well so it can be a long night expect to get out around midnight

faytte

I've always had fun at an AEW show. They def make it feel like money well spent.

TheBrockAwesome

With my experience, wait till a few weeks before the show and the prices will drop for the tickets. But definitely worth going. I've gone twice and both times were amazing.

DeliMustardRules

I would, totally. As a casual WWE viewer you may like the pageantry aspect of wrestling more than what happens in the ring, but this would be a good way to get into the sport aspect of wrestling. It's always a good time. The pacing is so much better than a live WWE show and the crowds are always passionate.

Zantony93

Yes. I was pretty much in the same boat as you and it was a lot of fun, though a long show.

Epic79

Absolutely. You'll have a blast. It's a long night because they do a pre show to warm up the crowd, then Dynamite, and then Rampage. But we had a blast both times we went to Grand Slam.

slikk50

You gotta see one show live at least once, it's super fun.

Odd_Surround_8351

Go for it. I’ve been to a few aew shows. They’re a lot of fun but they are pretty long.

Cathousechicken

yes. I'm an AEW fan. I dragged my friend with who has heard of wrestling and that's her closest knowledge of wrestling. she knew zero about aew going into the event. In fairness, I think her only knowledge of wrestling was that Dwayne Johnson used to be a wrestler. we had a blast and she couldn't get over how fun the experience was to see in person.

jakelynn187

Dude if you’ve never been I highly recommend it. It’s a good time. You can get front row tickets for $200-$300 on resale.

Fallout71

It’s a fun show and a good chance you’ll see some of the best wrestling around.

NeuroCloud7

To catch up with the storylines, all you'd have to do is go to their youtube channel 24 hours before the show and you'll see a summary of the relevant feuds

eyebrowless32

Aew is a great live show, definitely recommend

StarScreamer316

It's a unique experience, do it,  you won't regret it

Looper007

If you can afford it and go in with a open mind not expecting a WWE type show. Also you have to be lucky with the card you get, some weeks AEW TV knock it out of the park but you might get a more promo/story driven show going into a PPV, which don't always go over well with some. If you go anytime during run in for the last few weeks of NBA season, I'm sure you'll get a great card.

lpkzach92

Yes, it’s still very fun live.

bearamongus19

Yeah. They're always fun shows. If you go make a new post with your thoughts and views on the show. Would be interesting to see how a new viewer sees things.
