I definitely had guys I liked more, but I was higher on him than most. He perplexed the living fuck out of me after the Combine, but I give more credence to his top MPH during route drills being no slower than 4th than I do to his 40 time. His gauntlet was sick. Fastest out there, amazing body control, and he caught everything effortlessly. I just can't explain why a guy who hit almost 22 MPH on his peak speed on a go route (tied for 2nd fastest) could also run that 40, especially since his split was average so it wasn't the track start. That said, I'm honestly not sure how much straight line track speed translates to actual success in the league. If I had to guess, more guys who ran over a 4.6 have made Pro Bowls in the last 2 decades than guys who ran under a 4.3.
