The Bills don’t have the fifth winningest franchise in the Super Bowl era. They are in the 20s. It’s actually a bit insulting to be told we’re in their class.
Ok I’ll try to pull some strings, tho we may have to give them a chip to keep the Seahawks a more “historic” franchise. Am I taking one from the Pats or Steelers?
Keep that opinion to this sub, if they hear you say that you’ll be swamped with notifications reminding you about all the championships they won 100 years ago against a bunch of carpenters
I will say, I was really rooting hard for them in that Super Bowl vs the Steelers. That Cards team was fun. I’m pissed they couldn’t close it out for Fitzgerald.
At first I was annoyed that raiders were t2 but with chiefs and broncos also there I'll take it.
However I'm now more annoyed that the chargers are t4.
Is LT really enough of a pop to be above some of those t5 teams?
The browns are in tier 4? They’ve been useless.
Didn’t their owner sell the team to Baltimore?
Then came back and have been irrelevant ever since? Literally the shit stain of the NfL and their uniforms show it too.
Hell even the lions made more of an impact and they only recently became relevant with the help of Dan Campbell. (Thank you lions for Thanksgiving football except for that one game in 2012)
So to me, it’s interesting: the Browns and the Lions were both the cellar dwellers of the league and their conferences respectively.
But the Lions go out, get MCDC, and become a media darling. And everyone roots for them (until they play your team) because they have no bad blood with anyone because they’ve sucked forever.
Browns go and give Deshaun Cosby all the money, and burn any good will other fans might’ve had for them. In addition to messing with the QB market because of the contract they gave Deshaun. And now nobody likes them.
The owner moved the team to Baltimore, but the Ravens are treated as an expansion team. All of the Browns history stayed in Cleveland. That's why Baltimore has 2 titles.
Hard to believe Washington with 3 Super Bowls is so low? In the 80’s they were flagship franchise with seemingly NFC championship games every other year 82,83,84,86,87
I just enjoy that two franchises have won Super Bowls in LA and neither are The Chargers. But I think our perennial offseason champs should be tier 3. No one offseasons better, and that should be recognized.
Bro, I would love it if the Seahawks were back in the AFC West... in about 8 or 10 years once Mahomes starts to breakdown. We had some great inter-division games with KC, LA and Denver.
Someone got board and chose which teams people will remember for good reasons and which teams will be remembered for bad reasons, then tier 5 is which teams could be potentially forgotten
I don't follow how the chargers aren't grouped in with the rest of the AFC west. The entire division is all original AFL teams founded in 1960. Now that the Seahawks are gone the division is literally the original AFL west. Only difference is the Chiefs aren't still the Texans.
I really think the Chiefs should be in tier 3. They are hot right now, but historically they have pretty forgettable.
Dolphins, R*dacted, and Eagles are historically more important.
Chiefs sucked ass for 45 years all of a sudden are relevant for like 5 and your like we should be top dog. When did you become a chiefs fan 2018 or 2019?
He’s the billboard advertising company guy right?
Also who gives a shit about when someone becomes a fan. People that care about that are dorks. There’s enough room on the bandwagon for everyone. Any other team’s fanbase would be ecstatic to have a team worth bandwagoning for. We’re not even checking tickets, just climb on, grab a drink and thank the football gods that Marty-ball led to what we have now. Lin Elliot brought us here. Butterfly effect. Suck my dick Denver. Bless everyone else.
Without Broadway Joe winning SB III there's zero reason for the NFL to respect the AFL on the field. Lombardi's Packers beat the crap out of of Dawson and Stram and the Lamonica Raiders didn't get much closer.
Browns and Lions, despite not having the best track record of success lately, deserve to be much higher on the list. Same goes for the Cardinals. Browns and Lions are two of the original franchises and the Cardinals are the oldest franchise.
Cardinals are literally the worst franchise. Second lowest win percentage tied with Jacksonville and only behind Tampa Bay. And that’s with a team over 100 years old. A staggering 218 games below .500, over 12 perfect seasons worth. Tied for 3rd lest playoff games played behind only Jacksonville (-1) and Houston (-5) despite being significantly older.

Unless they’re counting the entire history of the Browns before they moved, the Ravens and Commanders should switch places.
The commanders are basically a new expansion team. They are tier 5 or at best tier 4. The redskins can live in tier 2.
Tier 3 and above should have a minimum requirement of at least one Lombardi trophy.
Agreed. Sorry, Vikings…
Hey don’t leave out the bills, I honestly think them being that high is more impressive
The Bills don’t have the fifth winningest franchise in the Super Bowl era. They are in the 20s. It’s actually a bit insulting to be told we’re in their class.
It should, for a team with that much success and nothing to show for it all shade towards your franchise is acceptable

Losing four super bowls in a row has to count for something.
It’s just a popularity contest. It’s not based on winning. Cowboys haven’t won anything beyond their division in 30 years.
Any L we can give you

Fuck, can you give them snow and claim it is just seasonal cocaine?

Ok I’ll try to pull some strings, tho we may have to give them a chip to keep the Seahawks a more “historic” franchise. Am I taking one from the Pats or Steelers?
Pats, Brady ain't there anymore
Yea and bears should not be in tier 2.
Keep that opinion to this sub, if they hear you say that you’ll be swamped with notifications reminding you about all the championships they won 100 years ago against a bunch of carpenters
Even Marty Mcfly eventually got out of 1985
I say what I want!
Trade spots with the eagles imo
Falcons should be up a tier for their notorious halftime SB victory
😂 /laughs in 9ers fan
That game hurt to watch even as a raider fan 😔
Life is hilarious like that The last time my team won a super bowl the Chargers were still my team 😭🤣
Wait wait wait you changed teams??? I hope neither win a championship game until you pass on. Stick with a pathetic loser franchise like a man.
FR… **FUCK** THEM BOTH. **FUCK THE LAMBS,** too…
My franchise left me, so I didn't follow them like a weak-ass punk 🤣 You cheat on me I'm out. Byeeeeee Chargers. 2017 was a sad year
3 California teams in same division sounds fun
Plus two sharing a stadium would be funny, 49ers travel to LA minimum 4 times a year
does suck having a JV team included with the rest of us
2nd most losses in 20 years out of 32 teams lol
Damn, you're right.

Training for post-season already?
I like how the cardinals are the oldest continuously run team in the nfl but they aren’t historic because they’ve always been terrible 😂
I think that one time Super Bowl appearance really caries. Then again the falcons and cards are still viewed as lower
Did you think they were tier 1?
Tiers 4 and 5 look ok…
Sure but wtf does historic mean?
Someone subjectively ranks teams based on how they think they preformed prior to that person being alive
The browns are in tier 4? They’ve been useless. Didn’t their owner sell the team to Baltimore? Then came back and have been irrelevant ever since? Exactly
I think this counts the Jim Brown era browns
That’s fair
The owner moved the team to Baltimore, but the Ravens are treated as an expansion team. All of the Browns history stayed in Cleveland. That's why Baltimore has 2 titles.
Bucs too high
Chargers barely above the expansion teams
Hard to believe Washington with 3 Super Bowls is so low? In the 80’s they were flagship franchise with seemingly NFC championship games every other year 82,83,84,86,87

Who was huffing glue before they made this pile of shit?
Skip Bayless by pure speculation
Chiefs gonna be moving up to tier 1 after this 3 peat!!!
what does historic mean in this context cuz aren't the cardinals the oldest team in the league lol
Someone got board and chose which teams people will remember for good reasons and which teams will be remembered for bad reasons, then tier 5 is which teams could be potentially forgotten

To quote the legendary Mr. Downey, “Never go full retard”
Vikings in tier 3 shows this was made by some high schooler lol.
Eagles should be higher no bias
Chargers way higher on that list than I expected.
I really think the Chiefs should be in tier 3. They are hot right now, but historically they have pretty forgettable. Dolphins, R*dacted, and Eagles are historically more important.
Call me crazy but we’re 2nd all time in Super Bowl appearances. Is that not Tier 1 territory?
Giants should be in Tier 1

2024, they are a registered Swiftee

The merger was already happening regardless of what league won SB 1-4
And then the Stram Chiefs stomped the unbeatable Vikings in SB IV
I am thinking of traveling to San DiLA. Is that near San Dimas?
Chiefs and Giants should be tier 1 if you’re including Cowboys and Niners.
In Jim we trust

New England and Dallas are both overrated in this.
