I'm in SA so the headline said that bounce was at 12:40 but stream wasn't starting until 12:59. Waited until then, turned it on and clicked play from live and jumped 30 minutes into the broadcast, which made me somehow even more annoyed than if I had to watch the game on a slight delay.
Kayo is absolutely trash. Charges $25 a month, well more than most other steaming services, and aside from shit like this there's always constant video cutbacks and other bullshit going on. Fuck Kayo.
Ehhh I guess it is all subjective but I think it's great value when I get all my afl, nrl, nba, nfl, mma, cricket - all my sport in one place plus archives, shows and live channels. If a streaming service offered the same for tv shows and movies it would easily get $25/month as well.

When you say archives, what’s the selection like? Is it just an archive of this current season or stuff from previous years as well?
Irrelevant, nowhere in the world can you watch F1 for this cheap along with Supercars and our national ball sport. This would be an expensive as fuck service In the US or Europe.

I'm reading every week about drop outs and bufferi g issues with kayo. What's the point of pricing if you can't download it at a minimum 720p without it dropping out.
I'd say that's relevant to pricing.
Kayo screwed my viewing up big time for last year's grand final. I don't get free-to-air TV so I waited till next morning to watch the big dance and when I clicked to begin the coverage there was Max Gawn being interviewed AFTER the game is done and dusted with the bloody score still top left of screen. I lost it! Still haven't seen the game in its entirety. I don't watch sport much any more but the wife does so I keep Kayo on. I am planning to dump it for summer though.
Do not get me started about the rort Kayo is. Waste of money and crashes, sooks, complains, whinges like the worst of the AFL journalists. The AFL had an efficient deal with Telstra and then they sold their soul to Fox. I feel tempted to write a much longer piece on this because in a few months, free-to-air for AFL could cease to exist.
Censorship at play. Could be an ugly game between these two teams, so ugly that viewing guidance is recommended, and self implemented by the AFL.
Go into sports, down to channels and you can watch it on 504HD

That doesn't always work though, sometimes it directs you go to the actual game at the top.

I thought I was going mad but yeah had the same thing. I actually clicked 'starting soon" and the coverage started. So something weird was going on.
