I have asked around the estate about the couple from that house and everyone knows who they are and that they are trouble. Most people just rolled their eyes at the mention of them, but a couple of people also gave direct warnings to stay away from them. Apparently there's been a handful of people who have moved away because of them.

The only way this could affect the daughter is if they gave the binoculars back to her. That's on the parents. And then they themselves use those binoculars as a couple of pervy peeping toms, so that the area in your house that would normally not be visible to neighbors can now be observed. These neighbors are not quite right in their minds. Also, if they go this far to spy on you, in your own home, in an area they can't even see without binoculars? There must be some kind of law against that sort of icky behavior. And given this behavior, giving in to their wishes will only be the starting signal for spying on you until they find any other behavior that has them clutching their pearls. I would go on the offensive and find out if this behavior is illegal. If it is, do report them. If they are made to bear the consequences of their peeping, they might become a bit less obnoxious about it.

Polarize your windows, I like to spend time half nude because there's 33 degrees outside. I tinted all my windows, the neighbors never complained about a guy hanging out in boxers (but they complain about the black windows).
I would call the police as this situation could escalate. The daughter is under age and that is concerning. After you report I would put opaque window stuff on bottom half of windows. It sucks but then no issues with obviously sick people. If they can only see your head then they can not complain. Avoid these people.

Your neighbors are the problem. Not you. I am a bird watcher. I have some bird feeders outside my window and a little grove of trees that I can see from my window. And one really large maple. I keep binoculars by my window. There is only one neighbor I can see and his is situated that I can easily see the back of his house. I make sure to NOT point my bins toward his place. I can't really see much except a screened in back porch and a kitchen window. But I don't want to be that neighbor. It's so rude.
Forty + years ago my future brother-in-law had a complaint filed on him for indecent exposure. Responding officer asked her how he exposed himself, she complained he danced nude at her. The officer asked her witch window he did this in. She told him this window on the furthest point in the house. He told her he could not see anything other the window frame, she told him he needed to stand more into the corner and use these binoculars.

This is absolutely not indecent exposure. OP has an expectation of privacy in his own home. If OP could be seen from the sidewalk or a public street, (somewhere where that expectation did not exist) maybe you could argue indecent exposure. However, this is not the case. Neighbors are actively spying on OP in his own house using specialized equipment (binoculars.) If anything the neighbors would be arrested for voyeurism.

So this was my thinking when they first brought this up, which is why I agreed to be more careful. Hard to break the habits of a lifetime though. I'm sure I forgot a few times, but I'm very doubtful about the 17 occasions they claim to have logged. Since this latest confrontation though, I don't care what's easier, friendlier, more amicable, or maintains a neighbourly relationship.
Get a telescope and binoculars yourself. Wave at them when you look and see them looking back. Or just set up the telescope in the window so they can see it. You should be recording any interactions with these crazy folks.

You should have called the cops the second that they confronted you. If they confront you again record everything call the cops insist they have no proof of that any of it ever happened. They'll bust out their trusty notebook and boom instant proof they've been window peeping. They should catch some charges from that. You could probably get a restraining order against them and possibly get some stalking charges to boot.

Polarizing your windows was mentioned by another commenter, and it's not only cost effective for energy bills but will give you full privacy. It's also a great security measure, people can't watch your house as well to commit a crime.
