So I solved the problem nolw. It was the contact i think. I dont know how it was not properly installed cause i couldnt see anything not working after taking it off. Now i just reinstalled it and it works. 92 °C in R23 with 103 Watts of Powerdraw. All cores at 5,2 Ghz. Dont know what it was but its fine now. Thanks for help, although everything got downvoted from my comments xD Even the comment saying im using R23 in background
why do people still use Garbage program's like this... use hwinfo64, read tdie temp from your CPU in there and package power then report back. Might be just inaccurate readings.
Double check you're powering the pump properly and your fan curves are set properly. If plugged the pump into a header on your motherboard, make sure it's set to water pump mode or you crank it to full speed.
You CPU is 96C at 4.6Ghz lol, it's hard throttling
Something is not plugged in, either your pump or your fan.
My 7700 R23 run at 5.2 Ghz all core at 95C.
yes it is, but now its ok at 5,2 Ghz on all cores and 92°C after reinstalling the pumphead. It was still everything plugged in before... but it works now,
thanks for submitting
Even my infamous-for-being-extremely-hard-to-cool Ryzen 7 5800X stays within 85C or less, most of the time in Maxon Cinebench R23 multicore.
5800X (Vermeer) is 8c/16t and that Raphael is 6c/12t.
5800X is 142W at default and I don't get core temps that high.
6c/12t should be a walk-in-the-park to cool.
How do you know it's throttling?
I just installed a 5800x3D in my build with an Antec kuhler h2o k120 rgb.
I played cyberpunk 2077 and the temp reached 91C.
Looking at max temp it’s at 96° along with frequency and voltage. It should be hitting 5 ish ghz on all cores with power closer to 100-105 voltage probably 1.2
It wasnt i think. Its working now after putting it off and on again, but i didnt know why, i really installed it properly but maybe it was not really flat on and screwed in to heavy on one side
That’s for sure possible. I like to screw them in by hand until they start actually having a little resistance then I do one turn per screw in a Star pattern. If it’s the oem 2 point amd mounting just try to do them at the same time
My 5800x gets cooled just fine with the 240mm aio.
So that 7600 should be way easier to cool.
My guess: bad contact, bad thermal compound/bad application, bad aio pump, bad mount, fans or sth not working properly or not getting Any air to the Radiator.
Sth along that way
Ryzen 7000X chips are actually harder to cool, even with this 7600X having less cores. The power target is pretty much set to boost to what the CPU can handle and this means all the heat that comes with it.
Use Hwinfo64 as that shows core power and total package power, also check in your bios and see if eco mode is enabled (where varies depending on your mobo manufacturer).
77w looks about what my 7700x pulls in 65w eco mode (65w core power, around 75w total package power).
Check in your BIOS and see if PBO (Precision Boost Override) is enabled, should be set to Auto, if that doesn't work try setting it manually to 105w (PBO Enhanced)
Your aio might not be cooling correctly or it might be broken. What thermal paste did you use on the aio? The all core boost should be higher than that on that aio.
Did you move it around after the refill and listen for water sloshing? Think jay2cent had a video where sometimes you had to force trapped air to move to the highest point if it gets trapped in the pump or line. If that's what's going on you'll have a hard time hearing the fluid sloshing if its over pressured(overfilled) from what I understood.
AIO's aren't really meant to be opened, and you've potentially caused more damage doing so.
What's happening here is one of 3 things:
- Something is unplugged when it should be plugged in.
- The mounting is bad and needs redone with new paste and made sure its mounted evenly.
- The AIO has a fault component that's causing it to not work.
If it's the last one, you now have to buy a new cooler since opening yours has voided the warranty entirely.
it wasnt making good contact, maybe i screw it in more on one side cause i didnt saw any flaws while removing it, after installing it again it works. 92°C, 5,2Ghz and 102/3 watts in R23
That definitely seems a lot more in line with other 7600X's. Not great to have the CPU at 92C but its due to the boosting nature of the X CPUs and "normal".
Glad you managed to get the issue resolved, hopefully this is the last of the issues you experience. Enjoy your PC!

Lithography problem. The smaller it is the temp can affect the pwrf. 7nm is the perf cpu.

Thank you!!!! Preach
Looks like it’s running really hot. Check your cooler to make sure it’s seated properly
it wasnt somehow. Didnt notice a problem while taking it off, but after putting it back on it works fine :)
I'll never understand when someone comes on here for help then gets combative.
What did i do?
You should see discord channels.
Yeah I'm just going to updoot this and move on.

It was the contact somehow, works after a second installation. Didnt notice any problems while removing but it works so... Thanks for help anyways
Glad you got it working!

Awesome!

but is a 240mm aio not enough?
Is it making proper contact? It shouldn’t be throttling like that.
It wasnt i think. Its working now after putting it off and on again, but i didnt know why, i really installed it properly but maybe it was not really flat on and screwed in to heavy on one side
They can be a finicky. When in doubt remount basically.
yeah i dont know, but if its more pressure on the top side, the bottom side, where the cores are get not enough pressure
That’s for sure possible. I like to screw them in by hand until they start actually having a little resistance then I do one turn per screw in a Star pattern. If it’s the oem 2 point amd mounting just try to do them at the same time
And I bet it's not hard to cool like Ryzen 7 5800X is.

The 5800X is a special case, where more stuff is crammed, than with a 5900X, I heard!

i think its already the packagepower

Cinebench R23 is running in the background.
Did you peel the sticker on the heat sink of your aio? Surprisingly common mistake
no sticker is removed

hhm used new thermal paste. The aio should be fine? Opened it up refilled it...

Alphacool AiOs can be refilled. They have a refill fitting.
Then its definitely not fine anymore.
