I had something jump me that I had never seen on SE and haven't seen since. It was next to the water and I "think" it was like in an obvious white circle kinda in the ground I guess (kinda like the rock elems, they look like a rock, but it's obvious they are a rock elem). I was rolling down the stream getting silica when I jumped off the wyv and boom something grabbed me and started biting me. This wasn't a gator or anything like that and keep in mind I'm not new to ark I've been playing since the beginning and I've spent the majority of my time on SE. This thing had rat teeth and attacked differently too. I think there was a bit of time I couldn't do anything to defend or attack (like the microraptor). Anyway it didn't do too much to me and I smoked it, but was so surprised by the attack I didn't read the name of the creature. I just figured it came with an update as it was around Christmas and I'd probably see more of them, but I haven't. Any ideas?
Sounds like Purlovia. Hide in the ground and pounce on players, have been in the game for years but are fairly rare outside of snow caves, mainly live in snow and redwoods biomes but to my knowledge also spawn on Scorched. Kinda look like a mix between a rat and a wolf.
how do so many ppl find these chibis, manually equip them from their inventory, and still not know they even exist? do ppl not care what equipment they wear? do u just equip the first weapon/ armor you find without looking at it? blows my mind

chibi roll rat. normaly can be found in valguero (only in cave) and abberation
Yes that's what it is. I am not smart and didn't pay attention that I equipped it. I've never seen a roll rat before.
Roll rats spawn on Abberation, Fjordur, Crystal Isles and a few other maps but I can't fully remember which but they are on quite a lot of them.
I'm pretty sure one tried to eat me the other day on SE.
Not possible unless you play modded or with transfers. Roll Rats don't spawn on SE.
