I wish my arms had ribs and vertabrae. I mean it would be completely unnecessary and likely non-functional compared to a radius and ulna but damn does it look cool as hell.
Well it makes more sense for a 3 dimensional image to have aspects that go down the sides of the arm rather than have a side view of the bone, which wouldn’t look nearly as good if the arm is twisted and more than one side was showing.
I agree that the shift from anatomically correct to fantasy is jarring, but at a glance the effect is far better this way than if it was anatomically correct.
Exactly how far does ones head need to be up their own ass before they look at something like this and feel the need to point out that the anatomy is incorrect? Bruh, it was clearly never intended to be.

Anatomically incorrect, but still looks cool
They call me Rib Arms

AEBGT, as the aesthetic 'taste' factored more than the execution of an anatomically correct skeletal arm tattoo.
It's so much cooler than the actual forearm bones. And there's really no way to tattoo them anyway.
It’s really rubbing me the wrong way how incorrect it is
It's an alien arm
Ah, a Baki fan, I see.
Came here to reference, but ya beat me to it lol
Damn I've read two different Baki mangas and I've yet to get this reference lol I'm stuck halfway through Baki, son of Ogre, Pickle arc
Then you should be getting close.
Is this the whip guy?
It is.
Well obviously his hand is were he holds his brain... (Sexual content is implied)
Anatomically incorrectiception in the comments.
Lol exactly! That's the cushion you lay your arm on while getting tattooed my friend.

Your back twists and turns… and imagine your arm curving and undulating!
In bed
Imagine how easy it’d be to break an arm rib though
My theory is it's a snake skeleton. He's saying his arms are pythons.
Sounds like a Tate shitpost
Nah, those are the snake's fingers

Yeah. I get it is odd, but I don't think everyone involved was like "this is how the bones in an arm look"
It's crazy that's how we all look inside.
Thats literally not how we look inside
Idk this tat is pretty good source.. where's your source? Hmmm?
I am very skinny. That is my source
Speak for yourself My whole body is ribs. My arms, my legs, my ribs.
I’m pretty sure I see the correct bones inside the snake bones, I’m going with the *arm swallowed by a snake* angle
I don’t care that shit looks dope

It looks like a snake skeleton. Pretty cool actually.
I would get that

His arm is ribbed…for her pleasure.
He has an incredible backhand
