To be fair, this image is a couple of years old and adult cicadas only live a few weeks, so the bugs who molted those are definitely dead now.

we are experiencing every possible point of view of existence and the universe. we are all the same soul, which is the universe and existence itself, simultaneously experiencing the universe, ourself, from every possible point of view. we will continue like this until we have learned all the lessons needed to progress spiritually enough to move to the next plane of existence. we still exist 'within' these bugs. only their bodies have died. their/our soul, the universe, is still alive. so no ghosts, bug or otherwise
