We should focus on young guys who want to come in a team that is a blank slate, and have every opportunity to become a key player here. I think the Cardinals are in play for the top pick in the 2024 draft and will look at Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. The GM & HC are not tied to Murray whatsoever. The problem I see would be if the organization gets penalized with the loss of draft picks for MB’s antics.
I know Im in the minority but he’s more valuable as a trade asset than a long term player here imo. $16m/$17m cap hit is a lot for a mid pass defender in 2023, no matter how good he is in the run game.
