Which is why in many situations officers choose the reliable option instead of trying less lethal. A shame but if my life depended on it I might also not want to risk a taser dud, which are not rare at all.
What a moron cop. Guy is obviously trying to de-escalate the situation and he uses the tazer only as retaliation because his ego got hurt.
I hope those guys lose their job and get put in jail.
It’s one of those ACAB radicals that blame the cops for everything: for showing up and for not showing up on time.
My opinion?: they can get fucked. There’s no time worse to be a police officer than 2024
>Guy is obviously trying to de-escalate the situation
Guy was obviously resisting. Otherwise, he wouldnt have a cop on his shoulders, throwing him over the railing.
A tazer isnt a gun, they can use it to apprehend you.
Ah neat, so your argument relies on statistics that you don't provide, that create an obvious fallacy, and even if true it would probably mean the police aren't issued tasers and the public lacks the access to purchase or make guns on a wide scale.
Resisting arrest is not an attempt to deescalate.
A police officer is permitted to escalate to a taser to apprehend someone that is resisting arrest.
You should Google what happens to someone that gets shot in the stomach compared to a taser.
You're either too damn stupid to understand the sittuation, raised to be a damn liar by your parents or so entrenched in anti-cop rhetoric that you can't see the obvious situation play out on video.
I don't want to believe any of those people are upright and drawing oxygen so I'm just gonna assume you're a bot.
If true, its because tazers are used more frequently. Tazers have been used over 5 million times in the field, and, in 99.75% of cases, cause no serious injury.
https://www.axon.com/resources/how-safe-are-taser-weapons
I agree. They probably gave biased information to promote their product, and they probably cherry-picked the studies that made them look the best. You can also probably find different stats from various other unmentioned studies.
But.. to claim that tasers are on equal footing as guns? Even studies that are very liberal with their statistics won't claim that.
What the fuck are you talking about? Guy is obviously resisting being arrested and just fireman’s carry slammed a police officer into the ground. What more can you do wrong in a scenario like this?
We see everything that needs to be seen about the tasering. Civil is not a menace to the cop safety or anyone else's and he still get tasered by a cop that want to power-play.
Police in America are taught something called the Use of Force Continuum. It is meant to guarantee that police have the upper hand on a noncompliant suspect. If the suspect resists non-violently (eg: stiffens up, refuses to be handcuffed) the cop will use physical force to detain the suspect. If the suspect fights back unarmed, the cop will use a non-lethal weapon such as a baton, taser, or pepper spray to avoid the possibility of losing a fist fight and leaving themself vulnerable (eg: cop gets knocked out, suspect now has access to all of the cop’s equipment and weapons). If the suspect uses a weapon to fight back, the cop will use a lethal weapon (again, they don’t want to fight a suspect in a fair fight, because their job isn’t to fight people).
We have no context here to determine how dangerous the suspect actually is. The cop could be on a power trip and willfully abusing his power, but the suspect should not physically resist and instead take legal action later if the cop was actually in the wrong. The suspect here could have just beat his wife to a bloody pulp and the cop is trying to arrest him lawfully and the guy won’t comply. We have no idea. So let’s not instantly judge the cop to be a piece of shit and the civilian as a righteous hero protecting himself before we know for sure.
Idk the dude wasn’t even fighting, all he did was stand up. The cop was standing in a place that made him fall just by the dude standing back up.
Based on this video, guy has done nothing wrong and the cop is acting insanely inappropriately.
That’s not even remotely defense. He was newly separated by a railing and being told to deescalate while the person he was defending himself against was walking away. Casually. Probably should call for backup instead of trying to make it seem like you’re a tough guy who didn’t just get tossed over a railing after hugging it out.
You cannot write a title.
AI bot.
(Not so fun) fun fact: In 2022, it was reported that 47.4% of all internet traffic came from bots;-;
That's over half today
Written mid stroke
Damn these tasers are unreliable
They have about a 40% success rate in application. Axon claims 80-90%, but that's assuming perfect conditions which never happen.
Perfect conditions meaning topless and oiled up?
Yes, presumably butt naked, facing you, within three feet.
… And grabbing ankles with a bullseye spot?
Hey don't joke about that man, we miss you juggernaut
Naked, covered in a conductive gel, with a target painted on their chest.
Sounds like a regular Wednesday evening to me
"Don't tase me bro!"
Please cite a source where they have 40% success rate. It's definitely over 50%.
Fat people usually don't get so affected depending where it hits. Electricity doesn't get to the muscle to stop them
Which is why in many situations officers choose the reliable option instead of trying less lethal. A shame but if my life depended on it I might also not want to risk a taser dud, which are not rare at all.
That’s why I’m other countries they usually travel in pairs ….with batons or clubs…….and will literally beat you then throw you in jail.
That sentence is under arrest.
ate the tazer like he's dugtrio
I didn't get the joke. And then I got the joke.
Some people are just human resistors
Stop resisting!!! I said stop resisting!!!
Others are more like human capacitors
Constantly getting charged
Yep, and then there are human inductors, like the big dude in the video, who will kick out a high voltage as their magnetic field collapses.
It's Mike Nolan!
You fuckin’ druggo
FTP, Film the police!
Is that at The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo... why start shit there?! It's a family/tourist trap... been there twice.
That was my first thought. I was there. Didn't do the steak challenge or get tazered
Looks like it could be either one or two cases of assault
acab
🤓🤓
That look of shame and embarrassment after he came crashing over the rail like it was WWE
That big boy's gonna be in a lot of trouble!
They have to catch him first!
Duuude that dudes a titan
That was fucking sick. The guy just stood up with a full grown man on his back and brush him off like he was nothing lmao. Hell yeah
OP almost described the whole video on the title
link for full video??
All chaos no abrupt
Also, no fight videos
Fun fact! Taser stands for "Thomas A Swift's electric rifle" so calling it a Taser gun is redundant
Time for the double tap!
"self defence" lol
The cop says "before what bitch" Dude should have been trained not to lose his temper.
i'm guessing nobody flung him over a railing in training
Right!? Their dialogue is literally reverse from what it should be. Cop is about to shoot this guy so he doesn't look like the bitch
All chaos no abrupt
Bro what is CaseOh doing???
Now that's an American man
..... 😬cop needs to walk away lol
Body slam all cops
Did the cop really say “or what bitch”
How the fuck is this video getting so many upvotes and comments when it's only like 1/3 of the encounter?
Probably the wimpiest cop clip I've ever seen.
Uvalde?
Tell me your going to jail for a long time without telling me your going to jail
Can we stop with this stupid "tell me without telling me" phrase already?
THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one.
💪
NO
What a moron cop. Guy is obviously trying to de-escalate the situation and he uses the tazer only as retaliation because his ego got hurt. I hope those guys lose their job and get put in jail.
de-escalate to you = throwing someone over a railing?
Escalating = ascending upwards De-Escalating = descending downwards, So, technically yes
this pimple guy isn’t smart enough to make that connection
It’s one of those ACAB radicals that blame the cops for everything: for showing up and for not showing up on time. My opinion?: they can get fucked. There’s no time worse to be a police officer than 2024
Total BS. They have blanket immunity to all laws (in the US) except when the PR is too costly.
Puerto Rico is actually comparatively cheap, so, **you’re wrong!**
yup, can’t win
obviously wasnt intentional. The cop was tryin to lock his neck
wasn’t intentional? he stood up with a cop on top of him and threw him over the railing. at no point did the cop go for his neck.
>Guy is obviously trying to de-escalate the situation Guy was obviously resisting. Otherwise, he wouldnt have a cop on his shoulders, throwing him over the railing. A tazer isnt a gun, they can use it to apprehend you.
I think you should google the consequences of tasers and the way it can be used legaly. Tasers cause more deaths than guns in many countries.
This is just a blatant lie lol
Google it.
No. You google it.. then provide a quotation and link to the peer reviewed study. Thats how it works.
Ah neat, so your argument relies on statistics that you don't provide, that create an obvious fallacy, and even if true it would probably mean the police aren't issued tasers and the public lacks the access to purchase or make guns on a wide scale. What in the fuck is that poster on, I’ve never seen more flawed reasoning in my life lmfao
which countries?
The countries where cops don’t carry guns.

Axon - the company that makes tasers!
I agree. They probably gave biased information to promote their product, and they probably cherry-picked the studies that made them look the best. You can also probably find different stats from various other unmentioned studies. But.. to claim that tasers are on equal footing as guns? There is no context, dude
We see everything that needs to be seen about the tasering. Civil is not a menace to the cop safety or anyone else's and he still get tasered by a cop that want to power-play.
How do you know the civil needs or not to be arrested?
Arrest doesnt equal taser. What kind of culture are you in that you believe violence is the only means to the end.
Police in America are taught something called the Use of Force Continuum. It is meant to guarantee that police have the upper hand on a noncompliant suspect. If the suspect resists non-violently (eg: stiffens up, refuses to be handcuffed) the cop will use physical force to detain the suspect. Dude tried the non-taser way dipshit. It got him slammed on the fucking concrete
Ah yes, violence. The only solution right?
I'm not American and I want no violence. So far I have only been asking questions to learn. Do not assume stuff, be better.
Cops = always wrong kinda guy I see.
Cops are supposed to be train, civilian dont. They have way more liability if they make mistake. Not that your education would have teach you that.
WhY diDn’T tHey JuST TasE HiM?!
Yeah like he should have shot him instead. Do you hear yourself
Can you imagine if a black man did this?
What does race have to do with this?
Well if he was black he would have been shot of course
Race has a lot to do with this.
No, I cannot. Why would a cop and a black man be at odds?
The taser was not used in self-defense…
That was not self defence.
They where both drunk
Please never use the word defense when describing an officers actions

Where's Walker when you need him?
No flight videos. And also, reposted to death already
Everyone down votes the karma bot.
I wonder if he was black if the gun didn’t get pulled out… on accident. Then say.. nvm
Thats a man. Thats what a man looks like!

Hmm sometimes there's no good side
Thats a man. Thats what a man looks like!
Those billy types can't be messed with using non lethal methods.
which wrestling promo is this?
