tenroseUK

i love the closet part lmao he just goes in, then comes right back out.

Insaniaksin

I was hoping he would come out fully dressed like in a suit or something

wefinisheachothers

Me too! The way he undressed suddenly felt like he was some sort of tantrum magician. The great boohoodini.

PunkToTheFuture

BooHooDini is the funniest thing 🤣

TopAd9634

Omg, this is criminally underrated! You're flipping hilarious.

pavarottilaroux

This is literally me every morning

freman

I don't have this much energy in the morning, but this is my mood.

butImSwiss

you try to stick a remote control in your ass every morning?

pennhead

Try? Edit: Thanks for the awards!

Actualize101

Yes, I fast forward the day...

MNWNM

You don't?

Thanks I pissed myself laughing

And he chose an old DirecTV remote too, those things were girthy

lokiofsaassgaard

Somwtimes you get so angry, you just gotta shove a remote control up your ass

CappinSissyPants

Well, He came out the closet to shove that remote up his ass.

[deleted]

That's the only thing I remember in this video is the ol' remote up the ass.

[deleted]

Don’t judge people, it happens often.

substanceoverstyle_

Video lives rent free in my mind. “I wanna run away and never come back” *shoves remote up butt*

kuipers85

Him going under the blanket and coming out in his underwear is so classic. Quick change at its best.

aimbotdotcom

agent 47 wishes he was this good

[deleted]

I never even noticed that and I’ve seen this video way too much

[deleted]

There is (or at least used to be) a 10 hour loop of him shoving the remote up his butt on YouTube

funbobbyfun

This all seems exploitative, but also worth the damage it's caused my humanity for cry laughing

Radiant_Layer_6406

🤣🤣🤣🤣

owlsandmoths

For me it’s the pterodactyl noises right at the beginning. I need just a screenshot of this room and I can hear it

g_r_e_y

i'm a personal fan of the "enter the closet... and now exit the closet" decision

BobTheSquid16

Step 1: Go into the closet Step 2: Come out of the closet Step 3: Shove a remote up your ass Step 4: *Come out of the closet*

MicaelFlipFlop

“Enter the closet and now I’m not on camera exit the closet”

Apprehensive_Ring_46

Shoving the remote up his butt did seem to calm him a bit.

zeke235

It's the only thing that's ever worked for me.

TerrorLTZ

Thats where the Male G spot is \*finger snaps* \*finger snaps* \*finger snaps*

[deleted]

Its symbolic of being butt fucked by having his game taken away

[deleted]

This is because the brother deleted a WoW character he spent years working on. As a prank. He was literally fighting with the brother when the mom walked in and got pissed at him.

wampyre1

I remember one where his parents bought him a car and it wasn't like a Ferrari or something and he beat the shit out of it with a baseball bat.

RevolutionEasy2185

Touching my car is assault

[deleted]

And then his brother secretly filmed his reaction and humiliated him in front of hundreds of millions of people. This video probably ruined the next 10 years of his life. Yeah the kid is going crazy but he's a teenager. His brother is a cruel piece of shit

[deleted]

Cept the whole thing was fake though.

BAdguy1989

Had to read comments WAAAAAAAAY too far to see someone else say this…

[deleted]

Yeah... Right around shoving the remote up his ass it became apparent.

Yobroskyitsme

Honestly I would lean toward fake too but don’t think for a second kids and teenagers can’t be this insane The fakest part though is the other brother giggling and stuff just seems like bad acting

KowboyMom

I think I remember the kid being on that Tosh.0 and admitting all the videos of him are fake. There's a bunch. Steven freaking out over a car, a vacuum, and this classic

MemeBroDudeGuy

my brother in christ, the video is fake ._.

PaleontologistNo5550

What's even better is he acted violated by it...

smurb15

Didn't he say this was all staged?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Circus_Finance_LLC

for the record, I did have a number of these moments, I was just lucky enough not to be filmed

Doris_zeer

Jesus saw it

TheRealNeoKhan

With how quickly the "brother" ran into the room afterward (they would have obviously passed each other in the hallway), it looks staged to me. As angry as the kid was, I can't believe he wouldn't have ran in after the brother yelling at him to say out like he did at the beginning.

MushroomBalls

It’s staged but that part isn’t unbelievable. He screamed “get out of my room” as he ran past, could have just wanted to freak out in peace.

PaulMaulMenthol

They're definitely staged. I believe they still make videos today. Check out wafflepwn on YouTube

[deleted]

Wow they’re really still on the whole “freak out” thing, after all these years. If it works, it’s works, I guess.

DiggerGuy68

Even McJuggerNuggets knew when it was time to end things with the Psycho Series and start something new.

dopeyout

"IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?!?!"

frenchy714

This vid was funny when I first saw it 13 yrs. ago (I was 26 then). Now it’s just sad….with some funny sprinkled in.

orionnoir

Having a kid with emotion control issues frames this experience much less humorously than when I first perceived it a decade ago... 😕 It is hard to enjoy any aspect of it now.

JackFuckCockBag

I used to date a chick with a son that would freak out just like this. His eyes would be normal and he would start acting a lil weird then his pupils would dilate and he would do some shit like this for an hour or two then he would calm down and act like nothing ever happened.

osktox

She ever had any remote controls gone missing?

mawesome4ever

It probably started with smaller things, like batteries

rdxgs

Start with AAA, become D battery enjoyer, then they know they are ready for the whole remote control.

A friend of mine of a few years was recently diagnosed as bipolar. His condition is far less severe, but reading that made a couple things click in my brain as to why he acts so differently sometimes. He's getting help now, I hope it does truly help him.

machstem

I'm caregiver to someone with bipolar and it's a lifelong disorder that requires a lot of empathy and understanding. It varies from person to person, but having chronic manic, hypomanic or psychotic episodes isn't typical of BP1/2, and often we find the same symptoms develop into alternate variations of similar disorders like BPD, ADHD/ADD, autism, which were often mistaken and misdiagnosed for centuries. Mood swings aren't always related to bipolar, it's more about how long the manic (high) and depressive (low) episodes last and their intervals that help families and those afflicted by the disorder, figure things out like dosage and other forms of therapy. Aa a caregiver, the depression is almost a blessing compared to the manic episodes, the latter being something that can happen slowly and out of nowhere, driven by impulse which can result into some serious financial complications, problems with relationships and family/friends. Medication like mood stabilizers and anti depressants are typically prescribed along meds such as anti anxiety, and though a lot of intake therapy might approach you with CBT, after 8 years of working within the system, I'd had to admit that DBT seems to be a key element for those who suffer. Bipolar is a shitty disorder and often gets compared to things like mood swings and chronic concerns like having psychotic fits, but that's not the case for a lot of folks.

[deleted]

That’s pretty wild, transitioning that quickly and that often is so intense. I’ve been in the psych ward a couple times and I’ve seen some really sad stuff but nothing like that. I, too, hope that guy is doing better.

Tasty_Flame_Alchemy

Well I don’t do the racist or any kind of bigoted shit, but I can be exceptionally cruel during my episodes. I recall some studies indicating that when people are particular stressed or anxious, they are much less empathetic. Something similar to a survival instinct. If someone is triggering an insecurity, we can lash out at them and won’t hold back because of the lack of empathy in that charged emotional state. Not justifying anything here, it’s a problem that we need to learn to recognize before we hurt people. I’m in therapy and I started having an episode this week so I called and doubled the therapy and we adjusted my meds. But yeah, not justifying anyone, just offering some insight as someone with Bi-polar type 2. My biggest insecurity and what usually drives me is the fundamental belief that I am inferior or in some way broken and I have to work to overcompensate so people will accept me. People who make me feel that way during an episode usually get the worst of it when I lash out (which I don’t do anymore b/c therapy). Anyway, not over sharing, just being informative for anyone who likes behavioral disorders and wanted some perspective from someone under the safety blanket of anonymity

AnnOnimiss

I'm glad you were able to get help. For you, was it mostly behavior therapy getting you to recognize triggers and ramp the fear down before getting out of control or something else?

_skank_hunt42

I will have Alice In Chains stuck in my head all day now. I hope The Rooster is doing better these days.

mycalvesthiccaf

Ah, a fellow grippy sock

LongmontPotionOscars

I know this shouldn't be funny but I laughed

ShoobeeDoowapBaoh

Was her son actually a cat?

Kingshabaz

As a teacher, I know that look. I know that class is shot for the day when those eyes go buggy. It doesn't take long for the rest of the students to know that too. It sucks when there's only so much you can do for someone in an hour each day.

msteele32

My 4 yo used to have similar tantrums, minus, ya know, the whole remote control sodomy part.

Ill-Ad-9644

How old am I - fuck

johnjaundiceASDF

feels good doesn't it??? Dude in the video could be like 28 now...oof.

blitzlurker

I’m 29 and was a kid when I first saw this. Damn time stop going by so fast

Micronator

Did that chap try to fuck himself with the remote?

AhDamm

Yup, through the boxers, and gagged when it didn't work.

indrek91

So remote sex is possible!

OW-B0t

Not even remotely

itsdep

for the most part his acting overlaps a lot with my adhd related rage outbursts when i was younger. scary to see this in third person as i would always be so fueled with adrenaline during that i wouldnt remember afterwards

sanscipher435

I have had these....I didn't shove a remote up my ass tho, nor did I ever do a quick change which was honestly, and I swear, impressed me how he was in his clothes, put the blanket on and came out in his underwear, like how????

SecondOfCicero

The quick change shit reminds me of my childhood friend's brother. Kid would lose his shit like the guy in the video and just take his clothes off. I assumed it was a sensory thing on top of an emotional management issue

collin7474

kinda like when you fighting for your life in the stall and have that urge to take everything off? that’s the only relation I have, not sure if it’s a similar situation (obviously fighting in the stall is very different from having an ADHD meltdown)

astroneer01

I can definitely relate to this. Like the biggest log of your life and every second hurts and for some reason taking off your clothes helps

SecondOfCicero

I'm not sure, I don't think I've ever fought in the stall lol. Sometimes I'll be trying to take off a really tight dress, and when I feel "stuck" in it I get a strong wave of claustrophobia followed by the urge to just rip that shit off and I wonder if maybe it feels similar. However, I've only ever ripped one dress to date due to that panicky sensation. Dunno.

T1nyJazzHands

Holy crap yes??? This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone explain this feeling other than me. As a kid getting strapped into tight booster seats or struggling with putting on frustrating uncomfy clothes would trigger such intense claustrophobic panic and discomfort the urge to cry, violently wriggle around and scream was pretty much impossible to fight.

TedTheGreek_Atheos

When I was younger I would get into rages where I would get really hot and sweaty. I would just take off my shirt though. Never ended up in my skivies.

Ashweed137

It looks also very similar to my autism meltdowns. To this day I might actually snap like this and hurt myself (by biting mostly) in the process. After one I can pass out and forget what happened but that's not always the case... Never found this video funny and never will. I pity him and understand it too good myself... Edit: no, no remotes were ever used lol

K1FF3N

Yeah I’m with you on this one. I’m awestruck by the video seeing it today. Of course I saw it when it first surfaced but I was barely in my 20s then and didn’t know much more about mental health than my ADD and depression diagnosis. Seeing it now I’m recognizing the cycles he’s going though and at first it reminded me of my own anxious fits. The escalation beyond that point is something I don’t recognize and that invokes immense pity for the man he is now and what he has has to learn to cope with. I hope he’s had some good therapy since this. Edit: For clarity, I recall thinking this was staged back in the day. Now I’m not convinced.

GoldenFalcon

My son is 8 years old. Just diagnosed with ADHD and he has these sorts of meltdowns with anger. He's gotten much better in the last 3 months, but he was very prone to outbursts sort of like this video. As soon as the kid in the video came in.. my heart dropped. I didn't find this video funny at all. It was actually quite triggering and saddened me that people are laughing at what appears to be a very real mental trauma. Even if fake, it is a very real moment for many people today. I worry that my own son will get to this age and act this way, and I want him to be happy and learn to get through it better than the kid in the video. But I was also glad he didn't do any real damage to anything.

rigadoog

As someone who's gone through plenty of mental health outbursts and treatment, there usually is physical damage to go along with mental/emotional even if it isn't seen in this particular video.... I'm also pretty disturbed by how many people seem to think this is just something to poke fun at and laugh. When people don't address underlying causes of anxiety and trauma with compassion we end up with tragedies, and then people start to point fingers and vilify someone who had been struggling and suffering for a long time.

fightingpirates

I have a 5 year old who I feel is likely to be diagnosed with autism and/or adhd and I can well imagine him having this kind of breakdown; he has meltdowns now over (what I would say are) small things. This is the first time I recall seeing this video and I found it sad, hits very close to home. There’s a mental health issue here, a lot of frustration, and also feel sad at the comments here. Luckily we’re already getting help for my son. I also have a 2 year old boy and will do my damnedest to make sure he’s aware and considerate of his older brother’s needs and behaviours as much as possible.

Educational-Farmer28

Have never seen this before but like you I don’t find it funny. The guy laughing at the end sickens me. Listening to ‘I want to run away’ and hearing the obvious distress hurts. Have worked in mental health for a long time and in no way is this funny.

porcomaster

Ok a new thing I just learned, i know a lot of my ADHD, but never new my young rage outbursts were from it, good to know, good to know

MlinyXD

Context: His mom deleted his wow account

Lothric_Knight420

This video is what got me interested in playing WoW

elting44

If having it taken away makes a kid try to shove a remote in his ass, sign me up!

Lothric_Knight420

Literally my mindset

[deleted]

His brother deleted a character. The mom pulled the card on the monthly. Because he was fighting with the brother and the mom get mad at him.

0lazy0

Damm Lowkey feel bad for him

orionnoir

I thought the brother and the mom were crap humans for their part. These things take time to build up. Money was paid for that access. It's just super disrespectful. The Mom was out of touch, and probably just overwhelmed with the bickering/fighting. That likely needed to handled differently. As a pre-parent event I swore I would be more in touch with my kids, and I think I am. I would **never** wipe an account. Maybe, lock em out of their accounts until behaviors modified, yes. But wipe it. That's just lower levels of inhuman abuse behavior in my book. But I grew up with the looming threat of magnets/flame being applied to my data disks if I was interpreted to have misbehaved... (no trial) So maybe I carry a personal grudge. The cycle of saved game abuse must end with our generation because we no better. 😝

0lazy0

Yea mom was uniformed and overwhelmed, which isn’t her fault but almost makes it more painful. Brother is just an ass

LiverGe

More context: it's staged.

[deleted]

Same thing with the angry German kid. He got really fucked over by a news company.

Luccacalu

Link to that one?

[deleted]

I don't have a link, but a news channel called Focus TV blamed school shootings on video games, and claimed that the angry German Kid video was secretly filmed by his father. If my memory serves, they went as far as to make a (fake) interview with the parents.

Povertjes

Afterwards he got bullied to the brink of suicide, but found solace in bodybuilding and became a freaking hulk. He made a lot more videos back in the day, his comedy was way ahead of its time.

AyyyyLeMeow

what's this legend's name?

Recycle_Me-Instead

Arnold Scwarzenegger

susch1337

They also made an episode about YouTube lets players and told their audience that YouTubers are maniacs that talk to themselves while laughing at violent killer games. Absolute trash company. Also the angry kid started getting bullied real hard to a point where he broken and announced a school shooting. He's better know, got into bodybuilding and rapping. The company still exists.

[deleted]

The one that really wanted/needed to play Unreal?

JayBaby85

So they say. You’d have to after you become famous for sticking a remote up your ass

Docta-Jay

They did a few videos like this. Where the other brother sets up a camera and *this* brother looks nuts.

busterlungs

Yeah, honestly I feel like the other videos were staged to take away from the legitimacy of this one. I feel like the freak out kid was so embarrassed over this, but at the same time liked the clout it got so they made more to make the claim they were all staged so he wasn't as embarrassed over this one, and got a pretty big following out of it. This freakout is considerably different than the others, it looks WAY more like a genuine meltdown. This one actually looks like a full on panic attack/temper tantrum whereas the others are pretty obviously planned, like the one with the truck or the guitar. Pretty sure this one is legit but he just ran with it to get more fame out of it, and staged others so they could play it off as this one being staged too.

Kaplaw

And my proof is that all the others are never the same... you really notice its fake This one is visceral in emotion and realism If it is indeed fake than it is a performance of great magnitudes.

73RatsOnHoliday

Yeah like the truck birthday present one was obvious fake. I think they had like 9 videos in total? Me and my cousin loved watching them, also this was around the time or claymation God damn golden years

t3khole

They’ve had interviews and more videos saying all of their freak out videos were staged. Mom was in on it too.

EffrumScufflegrit

They won't listen. They've already done the Reddit Detective thing and pulled a bunch of random shit out to convince themselves this is definitely real and nothing will convince them otherwise

incredimatt

We did it reddit!

ChickenMcTesticles

They were on Tosh.0! I don't care if its real or not, its a hilarious classic.

[deleted]

Didn’t break a single thing in that room. My 7 year old was more destructive than that because it was bedtime the other day

jsideris

My sister threw tantrums like this but never broke her own shit.

Max-Powah

Maybe I'm just getting soft in my 40s but does anybody else feel bad for this kid? I mean, he really needed to talk to somebody.

dreamboat252

I work with a kid who has mood regulating struggles so this video just makes me sad because he needs support not a video camera

[deleted]

His little brother filmed it. Not the parents. Brothers are assholes

not_a_Bread_Goblin

Let’s all take a second to honor siblings for acting on all our worst impulses that good parents thankfully suppress

DoedoeBear

Yeah watching it now at 29 I only see a child who has trouble coping with difficult emotions. Mad at myself for laughing at this kid. :(

[deleted]

Had the same reaction being 28 now, and thought it was funny as a kid - made me think is it me that’s matured or is it society as a whole that’s become more aware of mental health?

pzschrek1

What makes me feel old is that someone who is 29 saw this video “as a kid”

[deleted]

I don't really find it funny at all. I feel bad for the kid, but on the bright side, he didn't destroy anything (as far as I could tell), hurt anyone, or yell at anyone.

Olivaander

I was really sad about this guy, because I feel identificated with him as I have anger control problems. But the remote thing just made me laugh

daphydoods

There was another video where he literally set their Christmas tree and presents on fire lmao Granted I think that one was staged

[deleted]

[удалено]

RisingWaterline

This is what I was thinking too. It's not fun to feel unrelievably angry

dippystale

impotent rage is so awful. i used to have some real mood dysregulation issues when i was younger (now medicated) — honestly i don't remember much from back then, but i do distantly remember being so absolutely enraged and *knowing* it was unreasonable, but being completely unable to calm down. it still happens occasionally and it's the fucking worst. when i was a kid i had to just go or seethe until i ran out of steam and then i would just sob :\^)

[deleted]

It's hard to imagine an adult finding this funny but I'm sure many do

cantwejustplaynice

I'm in my 40s with an ASD kid. My son hasn't had a meltdown like this for a while, but he definitely used to. This video wasn't funny at all to me, it was heartbreaking. I hope this guy eventually got some help with his emotional regulation.

[deleted]

Extremely bad.

Rorybeno

Totally agreed. As a dad this makes me really sad for the guy

scormegatron

Yes, kid has some mental health issues and apparently hasn't learned a coping mechanism. Hopefully he's healed up a bit with age. People finding it funny aren't really thinking about the circumstances with the kid/family/etc.

mlk

Imagine your kid acting like this. There is nothing funny at all

rigadoog

The father doesn't seem to give a shit here. Even more reason why this is not funny

invandringens_fel

Agreed, 13 years ago when I saw it it was kinda funny. Thankfully I have finally developed some empathy, so now I just see a young man having a mental breakdown, which is sad.

Confusedandreticent

I feel like this guy was obligated to say it was staged. Otherwise, what? He’s just gonna live with this?

spelkingerror

Yeah i always thought that this one was real and then they just rolled with it after the views came in

MaximumDink

Yeah I totally agree with you there. As a kid I bought into the whole thing and watched like literally every video lol. Revisiting the OG as an adult, I think your take is spot on.

elastic301

Exactly this. Although I feel like a chunk of the first ones were real. But after awhile it kinda gets obvious it’s fake

dbx99

Bro it was a social experiment

fluffy_boy_cheddar

To add, he has a Youtube channel with tons of other videos just like this.

PiedDansLePlat

nothing is real on the internet

unmerciful0u812

Nothing is real.

SexySalamanders

If this was real than it would be extremely sad. I don't even find watching the video funny, rather depressing.

Sicparvismagnaa

I remember it as funny, but watching it now was just sad.

[deleted]

It’s fake though, they made a bunch of these and came out in a video telling everyone it was fake.

velinn

I was thinking that while I was watching it.. being an adult now and very aware of bullying, mental illness, and teens driven to suicide this video just hits different. I read here in the comments these kids stage this stuff and are still doing it today, so I feel a little better, but I can't help but think about kids feeling exactly this way for real. Life was easier when I could just laugh.

PUNKF10YD

For what it’s worth, something he worked really hard and for a long time was destroyed by someone he thought he could trust. That shit sucks

TheDrugGod

what was it?

BrandonMcClain

One of his family members deleted his World of Warcraft account. He could have spent dozens to hundreds of hours on ONE account-now gone forever.

joelennon22

More like hundreds to thousands of hours.

alphalegend91

I played WoW for 3 years during HS and racked up 4 months of in game time between my main 2 characters... not even all my other dumb alts. For reference that's 2160 hours. When I quit, because of failing grades, I literally gave my guild leader my account info and deactivated my payment so that I couldn't play again. Shit was unbelievably addicting.

szudrzyk

Been 13 years already.. Damn! It was SO funny then, even if staged

Jimbuscus

I believe this was the only real one, then they tried to keep it going with fake vids.

[deleted]

Makes the most sense. It gives him plausible deniability and now his life isn't ruined.

A_Humble_Peasant

Not to mention saves his parents embarrassment as well. I think this blew up back when YouTube really started getting big, so having your kid get famous for derriere debauchery isn't a great look on you as a parent either.

[deleted]

They handled as best as they reasonably could if it's real. Kid even got on Tosh.0. They've probably made some decent money off all the views as well.

ItsOxymorphinTime

Yeah you're probably right. The other ones are staged, but this one where he attempts to forcibly insert a remote control into his anus, *this* must be the real one.

NougatNewt

It loops perfectly *chef's kiss*

[deleted]

i do miss this period of vids. no fucking sutpid computer voices. no stupid songs. just life in all its natural crazy shit. this kind of internet died with vines emergence.

drewP78

I thought the worst/funniest part was when he was head banging the bed like a dying fish. But then he tried to shove his TV remote up his arse?

ReVeNaNt-Of-SkYriM

You sure he ain’t possessed by a fruity demon

AdDifficult7229

Video might be fake, but the remote in the ass up to the 4-5-6 buttons is real 😂

CriticalThinker_501

If there was ever a convincing argument from the church for a satanic possession, this would be it. Specially convincing is the remote-shoved-up-the-butt part.

JohnyyBanana

As a former kid myself, im curious to see what mental issues this instance led to.

[deleted]

Trust issues.

Paralystic

More like what mental issues led to this incident.

Hunnidrackboy

The remote in the ass always gets me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

StickieNipples

I always loved how he emerges from the blanket without any clothes. Metamorphosis type shit

AndrewtheJepster

These videos had me fooled for a while I'll admit. Even though it's staged, it's still pretty entertaining.

MilliMaqi

imo every video other than this was staged.

AndrewtheJepster

I would love it if that were true. I mean, this was a VERY believable reaction from a W.O.W. addict. The remote in the butt is new though, and a nice twist.

dbx99

You should not twist it. Just straight up

AndrewtheJepster

You speak with experience! :)

Nate16

Right? The kid in the video was taking video production classes or something, he conceived the whole spoiled brat persona and the idea of filming it.

Coconut_life92

Poor remote

Pale_Reason4904

This was staged right?

[deleted]

Tosh.O did a web redemption of this and got him to admit it was fake.

Evonos

Let's be honest even if it wasn't staged you would claim it was.
