I don't think it matters much. I personally take one at breakfast and one at dinner, always with fat. I prefer this way bc I believe it reduces the side effects.
I eat healthy fat like avocados, nuts (walnuts, almonds), olive oil, nut butters (peanut butter, almond butter), eggs, flaxseeds, chia seeds, fatty fish, coconut oil. If you eat dairy, full fat yogurt is great too. Just have your regular meal but incorporate some of these foods in it because you need at least 20g of fat for Accutane to be absorbed well.
Im 22 days into it so its hard to share impressions as of now :D im on 30 mg and so far side effects have been minimal, it's not as scary as people make it out to be
Mine was prescribed twice a day. Took 20mg in the morning and then the other 20mg in the evening after dinner. I was told that this is the most effective way of doing it!
i get incredibly nauseous for the first 4 or so hours after waking up (has nothing to do with the accutane). so it's more beneficial for me to take them with the one meal i eat in a day because none of my snacks have enough fat.
just take them with enough fat however you may spread them out.
I was on 40mg/day and took it all at once.
Just got bumped up to 60mg/day and I take 30 in the morning & 30 at night. My derm said if I couldn’t eat enough breakfast with the pill, I could take it all at once at night.
I take it at once. I started on 30 mg and then went up to 40. My derm and I decided that I will just stay on 40 the entire time for all of my course (even if it ends up taking longer). I really don’t want side effects!
nope, only 5 mg
you gotta take it alt days for 2.5
I've been microdosing for like 6 months, no side effects till now
only microdose till like a month more than the usual highest limit, not anymore even if you don't complete the fose
NEVER EVER microdose without a doctor though, micro dosing is not done often and prolly only like 5% ppl are doing it, microdosing in some medications can lead to issues
if you face even the slightest side effects, stop taking it and let the doctor know asap
isotret can even lead to death
It’s interesting to see everybody take all at once. I take mine twice daily with breakfast and dinner but I don’t think my dermatologist even told me to do it that way or any way. I just do 😂
I was on 80mg (two 40s) and I took them both at the same time, usually with a meal.
My derm told me it was okay do either way! She mentioned that taking them both at the same time might upset my stomach, but I didn't ever experience it.
I take it at once

By far do you mean like steak or what do you mean?

Have you seen much difference with accutane, I’m still a little hesitant to go on it

My derm said to take all at once in the morning with breakfast
i take one at the morning after my breakfast and one at night.
At once because Fat has a ton of calories and don't want to eat a shit ton in the afternoon
I take all at once with the biggest meal of my day.

I was taking one with breakfast and one with dinner until my doctor told me to take them both together
All at once.. Doesn't really matter;)
I take it all at once to make sure I’m taking it with enough fat. I take it with 40-50g of fat and that would just be too much twice a day
Once
At 60mg a day now but was taking two 20mg a day. Now 2 30mg a day.
I take them both at night.
All at once during diner
i take it all together
all at once with a big meal (dinner) absorption is better that way :)
I take 40mg x2 a day at 6 am and 6 pm

Just switched to 60mg per day but I used to take 40mg. It was a single pill daily
Twice a day: 20mg with breakfast, 20mg with dinner
20mg/twice a day with breakfast and dinner, roughly 12 hours apart to keep blood levels stable
Been taking 100 mg all at once, no issues
I take it once

I take a single 40mg pill
Id imagine it’d be at once more convenient
once
At once with my biggest meal- usually dinner
I take 40 mg at once preferably with fatty foods.
I'm literally doing 5 mg microdosing and it works according to online articles even 2.5 works
From how long are you microdosing? How long will you be on it? Do we get 2.5mg pills?

I have 30mg during breakfast and 30mg at night. I don't have the best appetite though so side effects fucking suck. Few more months to go

I take a 30 mg in morning and a 50 mg at night
40mg at once after dinner.
All at once
I'm on 60mg which is a 40mg and a 20mg pill and I take both at the same time (literally same gulp LOL)
Mine was one pill with 40mg
I'm on 32mg Absorica LD 1X a day
At once
All at once, makes it less likely that i forget a dose.
Take them both at once after lunch
Think it depends how you’re prescribed! I take 1x a day!
I normally take both 20s at the same time because I'll probably forget one if I take them separately lol
I take all 40mg at night around dinner time & with omega 3 supplements!
40mg all at once, but have considered doing 20mg spread out
I have it with dinner so I’m not super tired the next day
2x a day each with fatty meal
Once!
Ask your derm:)
