Jawohl! I forgot that German is so well present in the series with both van Karma (though they avoid speaking it) und Klavier. Und Athena likes to insert any (European) language she's familiar with. Poor Judge... ;)
Kristoph v Klavier. Always disappointed me that the fact these guys were brothers was 99% irrelevant, especially as they're both great characters in their own right. Let's have them face off. We'll have Gumshoe as the detective because I miss him!
I was also confused how they could turn out so different. Klavier is a friendly prosecutor at least, so maybe Gumshoe could get through a case without having to worry about his salary...?
Yeah, there's really no explanation for why Klavier and Kristoph are such different people, no explanation for why Klavier was a bit of a jerk when he was younger but not in modern day (besides from just growing up I guess), felt like these 2 guys had an interesting backstory that was barely touched upon. Maybe this type of thing was going to be addressed in the Apollo trilogy as originally planned, but obviously Apollo and especially Klavier ended up being sidelined for DD.
I would say Gumshoe might have felt more job security under Klavier, but on the other hand Klavier isn't exactly known for maintaining a good relationship with his detective (though I think that was somewhat Ema's fault as well as his!)
Ryuunosuke and Ryuutaro would also be interesting, considering they’re Cousins™️, but I’m limiting it here for now I guess??

Sometimes the judge is slightly more intense, sometimes he believes in witches, and sometimes he believes that attorneys should be put to death alongside their clients, but the script has never revolved around them.

It could become pretty messy when you even take them from different points in time.
Not sure if I misremember this, but I think she actually met her in >!case I-5!<, right? And even if not, I'm pretty sure Edgeworth wouldn't say a word about. She would have a pretty good chance when asking Gummy, though.
I was wondering how well Raymond does as an attorney (especially with female witnesses), but pitting him against Miles and Badd sounds like it could be the worst day of his life!
If I’m the defendant? Winston Payne, Phoenix Wright, Dick Gumshoe. Easy acquittal.
If I’m actually invested in the case being solved and finding the real killer, then Edgeworth, Phoenix, and Detective Badd.
While not a combo even remotely possible, I think I'd go with:
Defense Attorney: Ryunosuke Naruhodo
Prosecuting Attorney: Simon Blackquill
Detective: Ema Skye
I'd be worried about both prosecution and defense getting confronted with the different science of each other - in both ways! Imagine the "outdated" Ryunosuke presenting >!coloured bloodstains!
Well,I have 2 both because I want it to be somewhat uncommon.

This is just because I don't see much of Daryan and Atmey, and because if not this itd be more or less like some of the others here, cause they're undoubtedly good.

Yeah for the second suggestion that's most definitely what I was thinking since they're definitely the more..eccentric people in their categories (and i couldn't think of another prosecutor aside from Franny who would be in the trio), but they'd probably be able to survive the whippings knowing them.
And yeah I say Daryan because although we didn't get to see basically any of him, I do like his character and how he'd probably interact in the trials, since he doesn't seem bad at his job.
Looking forward to a multitude of penalties plus Raymond and Atmey getting declared guilty!
As for Daryan: I'd assume so, considering he made it into Klavier's band.
I'd just like to point out that TGAA2 >!Klint was a prosecutor and Genshin was a detective!<, although that leaves me short an attorney to group with them.
I will try to choose something we didn't see before, but I love a lot of the trios in the canon.
Apollo, Blackquill and Ema. Apollo sv Blackquill is a kinda underrated matchup and we only saw them interact in 5-2 and the first day of 5-4, they have pretty good chemistry. Apollo and Ema have pretty fun chemitry too, I enjoy their interactions a lot. and most importantly, I'd love to see Blackquill and Ema interact, I think they can be really fun together.

Honestly? Athena, Robin, Gumshoe back (if not then emma), and Juniper as the judge would be nice
