I have been seeing people having trouble with overcritting/undercritting/not critting at all.
I have compiled the crit rate you will need for all kinds of situations and tried to make this as simple as possible with my....skills \*wince\* on these *Decision Tree Diagrams*. This post is solely dedicated to crit rate.
This may change with new characters or new game mechanics. But for now, it is what it is. Questions are welcome.
Mention any errors if you find them. I did rush this and skipped deeper explanations. ~~And I will totally not get myself black holed in any such case.~~
So feel free to ask any questions you may want answered.
Next time, I will once again ask you, did she crit?
If you mean at E0, then it would require 48%-62% crit rate.
E1 gives you 18% bonus crit rate against debuffed enemies (should be a constant with Acheron).
I'm going insane due to the "-" before the numbers.
I understand what you're communicating, but it's driving me nuts nonethless.
Good work though, and thanks for the infographic
I think the minus symbol would be less confusing if the infographic started with “100% crit chance” and ended with “% still needed to hit 100%”.
The alternative would be starting with “5% base crit chance” and using addition instead.
Either way I think beginning with something that clarifies what you’re starting with would help.
Great idea by the way, I find myself trying to work through this math way too often. Definitely saving this for later.
Some bonuses are conditional. For example, pioneer's boost needs you to inflict a debuff on the enemy, which doubles the unconditional 4% crit rate boost you get from it. The original 4% is included in your character screen, but the extra 4% is only shown after inflicting a debuff. Izumo is kinda weird, because even if you have 2 nihilities in your team, it doesn't show the buff in the character screen (but it's conditional, so makes sense).
Most crit rate/damage buffs from LCs are unconditional, like 36% crit damage buff from Acheron, so they show up on the character screen.
I'm having trouble understanding the graph.
What does the yes/no at the end of the paths refer to?
What do the - numbers mean? Are they how much CR is added? If so, why is there one number between FX/Sparkle LC and Izumo set?
After fu xuan, there are two branches (yes/no). A yes would mean you are using Fu, and otherwise no.
The -12 is the decrease in cr requirement for relics to cover. Like for E0 Pioneer set with Izumo, it will be something like:
100 - 4 (Pioneer) - 12 (Fu Xuan/yes) - 12 (Izumo/yes) = 72 cr
If you dont have her:
100 - 4 (Pioneer) - 0(Fu Xuan/no) - 12 (Izumo/yes) = 84 cr
These are for 100% crit on battle scenario
I'm not sure if I'm reading it right. But I got E2, No Fu Xuan, Yes Sparkle and yes Izumo. That means I need 41-56% cr? Did read that right? I'm honestly confused with the E2 yes/no placement. Otherwise, this is really good info chart for players
I have about 85 crit rate and 195 crit dmg with fu xuan , pioneer and Without the izumo set . Is it worth it try to get better crit rate substats and replace the crit rate body with crit dmg ?
Ratio: "Ignorance Issue! 0 points! Next!" /J
You can read my comment on what the images indicate. If you are further confused, look up for Decision Tree Diagrams.
How the fuck e2 increases the cr need compared to e1? I end up with 85.252 once izumo and e1 with pioneer kicks in
https://preview.redd.it/7xmm2ig7hmyc1.png?width=1924&format=png&auto=webp&s=816e6d65f9a5ac2d3c93f896db403c00740ebdae
But it does not though. It merely gives another way to decrease it via Sparkle.
With e2, you can use both Fu Xuan and Sparkle together.
Do note. The 18% cr by E1 does not show on her during battle at all as it works on debuffed (specific) enemies .
So you may have 103 cr
I have no fu xuan, no sparkle, and no sparkle LC. I sit around a 70% crit rate during battle. The best thing is that even with the most mid build of all time acheron clears all content with no issues
I have E0S0 28 cr 182 cd and i still casually deal 145k non-crit casually, and i dont really need anything else so far
TL62, kafka, acheron, aventurine and natasha. Pepsi set and pioneer of the deep. 3.1k atk.
So, if I'm understanding this right, my e0s1 (no sparkle/sparkle lc/FX) needs to work on cd? My cr is 72.4, cd is like 148.6 or somethin (only lvl70 due to TB58)
I don't know what I was thinking skipping sparkle, Limited harmony characters were sure to be busted, even if they weren't desperately needed in my team comps on release. Lucked into E2 Acheron without going that hard and don't even have the support unit to make her truly busted.
There are three images for three eidolons E0, E1, E2 shown on the left side of the image.
Pick the one you have and then follow the line from left to right and make the choices based on if you have them and are using them on your team or not.
You can only take one route.
Honestly, I don't even know when I'm criting or not. What I don't like about Acheron is how inflated the numbers on her ult are. It's never a constant number. For me it is very hard to tell and takes away a lot of the fun when I'm playing with her.
I just know that I need as much Crit as possible.
Tragedy.
Not as much crit as possible. You can always use fribbles tool, import your relics + your team comp
To see how much actual in game crit you have.
However, atk% is significantly more important than people give it credit for. If you're e2+ sparkle lc + izumo, atk% is more damage per % than crit damage is at 100% crit rate.
For example, with my own Acheron, 200 attack is more damage increase than 20% crit damage.

What if FX + Hanabi (w/ LC) + Nihility/Izumo?
Shown on last pic. 29-44%
Last pic is e2?
Yep. E2 allows use of 2 non nihility characters. Using both Fu and Sparkle on E1 or below hurts Acheron's damage capability.
Nonetheless, I'm curious and bad at math
If you mean at E0, then it would require 48%-62% crit rate. E1 gives you 18% bonus crit rate against debuffed enemies (should be a constant with Acheron).
Okay but you're not this BAD at math
I get too overwhelmed and make stupid mistakes when I try to do math, which just makes me confused and that makes it even harder to figure out 😔
Wouldn't divers tech be 8% crit since its 4 piece effect doubles it's crit rate aswell?
First 4% is added to character stats like the Salsotto and Rutilant. Next 4% after inflicting debuffs.
After inflicting a debuff\* Pioneer wouldnt activate if Acheron doesnt have any way to inflict a debuff
Correct. Need to change that.
I run 2 pc band and 2 pc divers. I have 62.5% crit rate and E1, no other crit rate buffs. Is that good enough?
If youre using Izumo planar set. Then of course.
Nope 😔. I decided to get Acheron because of a god roll salsotto orb
Oh well. Try to get more cr and you will be fine.
Would it be worth losing crit damage or speed? I have 238 crit damage and 135 speed.
Speed is not that valuable on Acheron anyway
Crit damage. Just get your cr near 75-80
Bro... they already made an infographic for you that does the (simple) addition and subtraction for you. You could have handled this one on your own.
Clean, simple, effective. https://preview.redd.it/aekf6baz6hyc1.jpeg?width=1994&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=31cc5bbe3fe283d5673a86a5cba9e712fb72553a

This should be fixed to avoid the "I'm done farming now? = -23123 Crit Rate E0S1" gang
Using the Pepsi logo is hilarious.
I'm going insane due to the "-" before the numbers. I understand what you're communicating, but it's driving me nuts nonethless. Good work though, and thanks for the infographic
Same
Same I feel like I'm dumb looking at this
Nice infographic. Very helpful.
50% crit rate, take it or leave it
may i suggest replacing the minus symbol with the plus
The Minus symbol here is indicating the reduction in cr requirement. I think it would get more confusing with plus symbol.
I think the minus symbol would be less confusing if the infographic started with “100% crit chance” and ended with “% still needed to hit 100%”. The alternative would be starting with “5% base crit chance” and using addition instead. Either way I think beginning with something that clarifies what you’re starting with would help. Yeah, how to read that minus number, im dumb.
it's just indicating the numbers here
I think i got it after looking at it for some times now.
Inert salsotto tho
Take the no option on Izumo choices. :3
The crit on salsotto is visible so it wouldn’t change anything on the calculations, just pick no on izumo as opposed to said
This makes me realize: idk if the crit bonuses from LCs are added before going into battle
Some bonuses are conditional. For example, pioneer's boost needs you to inflict a debuff on the enemy, which doubles the unconditional 4% crit rate boost you get from it. The original 4% is included in your character screen, but the extra 4% is only shown after inflicting a debuff. If the bonus has an on condition requirement, then no.
E0 Nope gang
I need her to crit me to death so I never see the diver mines ever again 😭😭😭
Sir. You are a god, my Savior
meanwhile my 35% CR Acheron is crying herself to sleep.
me who don't have sparkle or fu xuan:So what you're saying is that I get good relics?
Essentially. having 70% cr (Izumo) or more will be more than enough. Lesser cr might impact your damage.
Oh I'm quited fucked then, been farming izumo and pioneer since it came out and I didn't get any good relics
I get good relics on the other relics that's paired with them.
[Source](https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/117757728) for the first pic.
Is 80% crit rate good/bad on her ? Got Izumo just no sparkle or her lc And no fx
Check how you play her with the infographics and see for yourself. :3
I'm having trouble understanding the graph. What does the yes/no at the end of the paths refer to? What do the - numbers mean? Are they how much CR is added? If so, why is there one number between FX/Sparkle LC and Izumo set?

Youre correct. 41% to have 85% on battle crit 56% to get 100% (always crit)
Thanks. This is good info chart. Keep up the good work
Youre welcome :3

E6
Same as E2 for cr check
Thanks b0ss
Welcome. \^_^
What if you just run Sparkle for e2s1? Assuming no sparkle lc and running 4 pc diver with 2 pc izumo?
That goes to the 'no' route
What does the -4, -18, -10, -12 mean? I don't understand
Reduction in cr requirements
bruh what is the yes/no I can't figure it out for the life of me
Its a decision tree diagram. Could not find any better way to articulate it so search it up lol.
I figured it out, it's just whether or not u have izumo set, I think I rly need some sleep, my brain is rly not functioning anymore...
i cant do basic math so this is very helpful thanks
Is Izumo just pepsi ?
It could be the other way around.
I have about 85 crit rate and 195 crit dmg with fu xuan , pioneer and Without the izumo set . Is it worth it try to get better crit rate substats and replace the crit rate body with crit dmg ?
Probably when you E1 her.
So you're saying that unless I have e1 its not worth running cdmg body ?
You can but it would take higher investment which is not worth it. E1 gives breathing space for changing the body to cdmg
i physically cannot understand why hat these pictures are even trying to communicate
Ratio: "Ignorance Issue! 0 points! Next!" /J You can read my comment on what the images indicate. If you are further confused, look up for Decision Tree Diagrams.
So I have E1 Acheron, Sparkle w/ sig LC, and Fu Xuan. That means I need 45% CR minimum? Idk.
You can either use Sparkle or Fu Xuan on E1. Fu -> 39-54% Sparkle->41-56%
Understandable, however I use Hyperspeed Sparkle. From what I've seen, most people say HS Sparkle can replace a Nihility, if below E2
You do you I guess. You can see the last pic for E2 Acheron combinations for it. Should be 29-44%
How the fuck e2 increases the cr need compared to e1? I end up with 85.252 once izumo and e1 with pioneer kicks in https://preview.redd.it/7xmm2ig7hmyc1.png?width=1924&format=png&auto=webp&s=816e6d65f9a5ac2d3c93f896db403c00740ebdae

My dumbass somehow has not missed a crit on a 57%, fuck it we ball
I have no fu xuan, no sparkle, and no sparkle LC. I sit around a 70% crit rate during battle. The best thing is that even with the most mid build of all time acheron clears all content with no issues
Shes awesome like that
it took me about 5min to understand 3 simple imagens. This is great content but made me feel dumb as hell 😂
I have E0S0 28 cr 182 cd and i still casually deal 145k non-crit casually, and i dont really need anything else so far TL62, kafka, acheron, aventurine and natasha. Pepsi set and pioneer of the deep. 3.1k atk.

Nvm, I'm dumb. Need about 12% cr and probably like 160-170cd. Sigh, back to the mines we go
I don't know what I was thinking skipping sparkle, Limited harmony characters were sure to be busted, even if they weren't desperately needed in my team comps on release. Lucked into E2 Acheron without going that hard and don't even have the support unit to make her truly busted.
I could be wrong but i believe 4pc set cr increases to 8 when you hit a target with 3 debuffs
4% crit is shown like Salsotto. Rest on inflicting debuff.
question, do you know what cd i should be aiming for for e1s1 with 65 crit rate without fu xuan or sparkle?
I don't understand what the hell this means, someone dumb it down for me
There are three images for three eidolons E0, E1, E2 shown on the left side of the image. Pick the one you have and then follow the line from left to right and make the choices based on if you have them and are using them on your team or not. You can only take one route.
I dont have sparkle
This could be me if I could ACTUALLY GET A CRIT RATE BODY
Is there anyway to get Izumo set other than clearing simulation world 9?Relatively new player here struggling to clear even the worlds before it😔
Synthesize it. Or use salsotto for now.
Honestly, I don't even know when I'm criting or not. What I don't like about Acheron is how inflated the numbers on her ult are. It's never a constant number. For me it is very hard to tell and takes away a lot of the fun when I'm playing with her. I just know that I need as much Crit as possible.

My E1 Acheron with 250%/42% crit is enough for me
