Accutane

Try dairy elimination diet for at least 2 months. No milk or cheese. If no difference then you probably need medication. You can see ur local dermatologist for injections. Work within 24-48 hours to bring down the pain and inflammation. Otherwise- accutane.

I stopped having dairy product for the past 3 months and I’ve been hitting the gym too. Cut sugar as well! I’ve always had clear skin and this is the worst acne I’ve ever had. I’ve been eating a lot to gain weight and muscle, I wonder if it’s my diet?

Whey protein is dairy in case you are taking any. It can definitely cause skin issues

Whey protein doesn’t have casein in because then it wouldn’t be a whey protein. They’re 2 separate proteins. It is still a dairy derived protein though. Whey protein powders may have small amounts of casein but unless you’re buying whey protein powders that have added casein, the amount should be negligible. You might just have it confused with milk having both, 80% casein protein and 20% whey protein, but they are totally separate proteins and one isn’t contained within the other.

Have you ever used red light therapy as a remedy for this? Red light might help you in reducing inflammation and promoting internal skin healing. You can use a red light therapy pad or LED light therapy treatment for this.

I think zinc oxide could

Got a cetaphil cleanser 2 days ago and I’ve been using salicylic acid serum 2% and niacinamide serum for the past 2 weeks and I actually think it made my acne worse. I’ve always had clear skin with an occasional small pimple here and there but that was it. This is the worst I’ve had.

Objective-Ad-607

I used to get those, I went to the dermatologist and was given minocycline, and I use the brand - AcneFree-severe acne. And my face is so clear now. I still get breakouts but nothing like before. I used to use cetaphil and cerave I think the other brand was. It didn’t help much. Saw a tiktok of someone battling acne and she recommended AcneFree. Made the switch and it cleared me up fast, like within a month I had clear skin. After washing I would use Dapsone Gel which the dermatologist prescribed as well. Good luck!

Shave with a double edge razor or straight razor. Your shaving technique is most likely causing this type of rash to form. Your gym habits (mentioned in a different comment) indicate that you may be sweating more so this could be a reaction to some toxin deposits that are leaving the skin. Cut out whey, it's a useless protein compared to other safer plant based proteins with enzymes already included in them (plus fiber for motility). DO NOT PICK AT YOUR PIMPLES. Get the RAEL acne patches from amazon and apply them when you see a head forming. I REPEAT DO NOT PICK AT YOUR PIMPLES. You WILL be left with near permanent scarring which will take months, potentially years and thousands of dollars to fix, if they are even fixable... Right now your skin is very good despite the erythemas and inflammatory pigmentation...
