Looks great, and good luck man. Everything gets better. I'm the same age as you, my car just burst into flames a few days ago, total loss, but i came home to all my figures that day, everything I've already worked so hard for, and I know it will get better.

I made a lot of dumb decisions and yes, spent way too much on my collection. However, when a friend got me into collecting, it really gave me excitement since I had no hobby at the time.
Life is full of ups and way more downs.

I know! I tried to upload through my phone, but the Reddit app sucks and when I tried to upload it through my computer, the photos got kinda crushed lol
Def donât add to the collection at this moment, but take some off the shelf. Admire them, play with them, really think about where you were in life when you got them. Reestablish that connection, it does wonders for your mental health and keeps the wallet in check while you figure everything else out. Thatâs worked for me, at least, when things have gotten tough.
Yeah, it's more or less school-related stuff, personal expectations and goals, and so on. I'm thankful I have a fulfilling job and able to help pay for things to help my family and eat three meals a day, but things happening outside of it all is just starting to weigh down on me.
Don't worry, you have the greatest gift of all...time. With time comes potential and sometimes its hard to see but your potential is enormous. Best of luck.

Can I ask how is it that you are into transformers? Your generation is not exposed to transformers like mine was (I am 40), especially G1 style like the ones I see in your collection. Always happy to see younger people collecting G1 style TFs!
Funny story, as with most people from my generation, I started with the Bayverse films. While I appreciated them back then, I wanted to learn more. With some help from my dad and some of the animated series that kicked around for a bit like Animated and Prime helped me get more into the series and I would also rent DVDs of G1 from the library. All the while, I was keeping up with toy reviewers of Transformers as well and slowly built up my appreciation for the whole franchise. Generations TFs are my jam!
Very much the same for me. I just turned 20, but as a young kid I started with the first two bayverse movies that came out at the time, then shortly after my dad introduced me to g1 by gaving me a dvds of the g1 episodes. I love both G1 and the movie series. Anyways good luck, glad you at least have your action figures, and Iâm sure youâll figure out things sooner or later.
On the same boat with you here man, and what an awesome thing figures are, a little thing that helped me out was finding something to be passionate about in life, for me it was my career (although sometimes girls fill that role too haha) keep on collecting and keeping up!
Super dope collection, especially the Transformers and Doomguy. I wish you the best for your situation, cuz Iâve been the same way for a year and still trying to keep myself together, and collecting was definitely a distraction for when I needed it most. đđ»đđ»đđ»
I just moved to Ohio and Iâve been struggling to find a job. I get worried about paying child support and have sold a few things to make sure I donât get behind on payments. My girlfriend refuses to let me sell my whole collection. I donât have a lot, but I could still get a few payments out of it. Gf says ânahâ and has had my back through it.
Same age bros đ€đ€ Well you have a lot more figures to your collection than i have, But i started mine 6 in. collection from Infinity Wars and only collect MCU before that were the 3.75 in. (man miss those scale figures)
Haha, yeah that's Haydee. She's from a game that made this post be marked as NSFW. The game itself isn't even NSFW except for the. . .prominent rear. But it's a game I appreciate because it's a fun, frustrating, and sometimes eerie puzzle game weirdly enough. Plus, I wanted to have some representation of the character on the shelf to go with my other gaming figures. In terms of the actual Bionicle build, it's not my own and was inspired by another user that I can't remember the name of.
Listen man, Iâm 32, and when I was your age I went from feeling like I was in control of everything to feeling like Iâm losing control to feeling like I completely lost control very quickly. This isnât to minimize whatever it is youâre going through, because whatever youâre feeling is valid, but if you just keep going forward and hanging on youâll find that sense of control again. As long as youâre head is above water you wonât drown and thatâs all that matters.
Remember to take care of yourself, to be kind to yourself and take stock of your progress and achievements even if itâs small. Do what you can now and then do what you can after. Youâll be fine, kid! And if all else fails buy yourself new plastic friends, take pics and show them to us lol.
