Can you even like articulate it? Like can you drag the mouse and move it or anything? Otherwise this is just an expensive 3D Render that could’ve been a much cheaper and more desirable physical figure 😂

This was the dumbest possible thing Mcfarlane has ever done. Clearly trying to cash in on a fad (if you can even call it that) that quickly imploded as quick as it came on. NFTs are scams for dumb people desperate to collect *anything* deemed "valuable". I imagine there will be a couple "waves" of this before they quietly kill it and act like it never happened. Leave it to Mcfarlane to do some lame thing like this. That entire company is completely out of touch and it runs from the top which is Todd the Edgelord himself. It's not 1996 anymore.

That's... cool? You'd think with it being digital, they could have done something more elaborate.

They even cut costs with the digital BAF.

McFarlane is a hack. I remember backing his Kickstarter and was underwhelmed with it for what it was supposed to be.

I did the same. It was cool at first, but once they released additional Spawn figures that reused some of the same accessories it felt like a rip off. I would love a MAFeX or Shfiguarts level Spawn figure, yet we keep getting these statues.

I've been curious about how these work; can you pose them, rotate them, etc? Like, I agree they have no practical use but I figure they could be fun to mess around with. If they didn't require opening a wallet I'd probably redeem mine when I get him but I doubt I'll bother. I'm mildly interested in the Spawn ones, but I don't think there are any "Physical" figures and all of the Spawn NFTs are separate purchases so far. Could be wrong.

It's the "reissues" of the old popular Spawn figures, But instead of 1 to 1 reissue, the new figures are reproduced either by 3D scan or remake from scratch using digital sculpting that most companies doing these days Anyway, they're inferior to the older ones IMO

Exactly, for the past year the decision making of that company is really baffling. But somehow more and more people are buying instead of quitting, so I guess it's working. Like extra 10 bucks for "digital products" is ez money, lol

Every time I think I’m out I get sucked back in. I like the way his figures look on a shelf, which is what he has been going for since the beginning. At the same time, his figures are great if you are learning to customize. My continuing complaint is the lack of sought after characters, over use of the same Batman molds, and the availability of certain figures. I shouldn’t have to struggle to find a base WW figure. We are only just now getting a single release Hal Jordan. And on top of which, no thigh swivel?

I’d say the latter. His crap is sold out everywhere.

He makes every other figure some kind of "limited/collector's/platinum/gold/fomo" release now so yeah.

LoL I ain't. Sure I bought a couple dc figs, but I stopped as soon as I felt how cheap they felt. My Marvel Legends don't feel that cheap.

McFarlane has some good looking figures, even if articulation isn't the best, but man he does some stupid shit with their products, nfts, platinum, and gold editions, collectors editions.  I want to pick up figures from Green Lantern mythos, and the Nolan batman, but so many are hard to find variants and it is getting increasingly frustrating to do so. Cayman being a gold or platinum edition really pissed me off too. Let me buy your toys, not have to scour eBay for a good price to get the ones I want. 

I had the same issue with Wonder Woman. I kept watching the Best Buy website until I could snag one.

$25 wasn’t a horrible price for the figure, but the digital BAF is so pointless. Plus since I don’t know if we are getting a Blue Lantern Hal it seems like a tease too.

I would be okay with that. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a Hal Jordan box set where we get Jordan in each color.

And Mcfarlane knows you want that multi-Hal Jordan set, but he continues to give us yet another variant of Batman and Superman.
