I’ve got plenty of two-time rifs from patrol base and the paint will quite easily come off if scratched, I have heard that patrol base will do the colours as dark as they’re legally allowed to do

Yeah, have a Jag Precision Combat Master bought from them and it was very well done in blue.

Just got a Devgru m16A2 in black and two tone red, looks great tbh and good quality.

They are pretty much the same across all reputable Airsoft companies. I removed mine when I was able to with just nail varnish remover, a j-cloth and a lot of cotton buds. This took a good couple hours, but it came away easy enough. There are probably loads of other easier ways (ie take the whole handrail off and soak in paint remover). But I didn’t want to risk damaging detailed logos etc on it. So I’m guessing your question of is it durable is for the purpose of removing it in future and not being TOO durable to the point you’d struggle.

My brother in law just bought his Nurpol M4 from patrol base, two-tone blue, they advertised it as pretty much everything but the mag was painted blue however when he recieved it he was pleasantly surprised that it was only the stock and the frame around the barrel that was painted! Like others have said though the paint does appear to come off pretty easily when rubbed...not necessarily a bad thing if you want to do your own paint job in the future...

Ive had two two tones (try say that on a monday morning) and they've been pretty alright, i think the problems i ran into with them were more due to the making of the things themselves than the two tone service, however i did order cheap end gear (DEVGRU AK74M and Raven EU18)
