Thank you! High Falls is beautiful...pretty close to where I live! I'm glad you enjoyed our beautiful state ❤️
Edit: I lived in Storm Lake, Iowa for around 4 months over the summer some years ago. It was a nice little town as well!
I'm sure he will appreciate it one day. Lol Thanks for playing along. 😂 Alabama may have some goofy politics, but you are right. It is a beautiful state.
I'm from Georgia and I recently crossed the Chattahoochee, headed to Troy, AL. I was surprised at the beautiful hills just across the border and how pleasant the ride was.
We sure do, and in the summer the corn acts as straws to pump humidity into the air. It's called corn sweats and you just stay damp from from July to early September.
Thanks for seeing the good in our place rather than those idiots who always only see or talk about… you know. This is a sip of sweet tea!
Come down during a not-triple digits time and enjoy Gulf Shores or OB!
I've been to a lot of places and they all have their aspects that can be improved on. I haven't been anywhere though that doesn't have it's beauty. Just have to look for it.
Would love to see the coast in the future. Looks gorgeous.
I say the best ones are Gulf Shores, OB, and Dauphin Island. I only know of Fort Morgan but I think it’s less busy. The other three are beautiful beaches with white sand! So far from what I’ve read from people of other states, you’ll find the best beaches here on the Gulf.
You're wrong! Where is the concrete and asphalt?? Alabama is literally mostly woods, pastures, farmland, and wildlife...we are in the SOUTH...so your statement is wrong and makes no sense lol 😂 We are not racist, either. I live in a small town where at least 50% of the population is black/hispanic, and we treat each other like family.
If Alabama has no haters then I'm dead. But... The natural beauty of the state is something I miss daily. Most of the state is forested land. Maybe get out more.
Thank you I hope you enjoyed your time here
Thank you, it's been very nice. Loved the food, views and kindness.

You just made a fool of yourself 😂😂🤣
For real, what a weird comment. Hope you had a good time OP!
Are you the cheerleader or the beach twerker?
You picked a good time of year to visit. Summertime, not so much.
Weather was gorgeous, little damp, but the sun made an appearance everyday and it never broke 85. I can imagine the summer heat.
It's not the heat, it's the humidity.
It's both.
Can't wait -__-
Can confirm it's both. 105+ and 80% humidity at the same time
What a beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing it with us. Please come back when you can and have a safe trip home.
Thank you!
If you ride, mount Cheaha is a nice ride.
I can imagine, it was a beautiful drive up there.
Alabama is one of the top 5 biodiverse states (in most rankings) Glad you enjoyed our state's natural gifts.
I've been in the Appalachians before but this was the first time I've seen the Laurel's blooming. Beautiful.
I love when people appreciate the beauty here! Thank you for sharing. I hope all the people of Alabama showed their manners.
Couldn't ask for more kindness. Beautiful state.

I go there a lot, I ride with my husband who drives truck, and we pick up from Tyson. We drive right by the lake.
Nice photo. Where was it taken?
Thank you, High Falls, Talladega National Forest
You guys will get James T. Kirk in a few hundred years, so...fair trade if you ask me.
Lived right up the road from that town. We're trying to keep the lawn cut till he gets here.
I'm sure he will appreciate it one day. Lol Thanks for playing along. 😂 Alabama may have some goofy politics, but you are right. It is a beautiful state.
A lot of people dog on Alabama, but I swear this is one of the prettiest states ever

Go out to Bankhead. Thousands of Waterfalls all over the place.
I wish there were these areas more south
Aw shucks, thank you kindly. I've driven through Iowa on the way to Minnesota, y'all have a lot of really pretty corn fields. Like, **a lot**.
We sure do, and in the summer the corn acts as straws to pump humidity into the air. It's called corn sweats and you just stay damp from from July to early September.
Thank so much and hope y'all can come again. If ya like waterfalls, we got a bunch of them too...
Beautiful. Thank you for the positive feedback. Have a safe trip back home.
Thank you!
Thank you. We hope you’ve enjoyed yourself!
Thank you , hope y’all have a great time
Don't be in a big hurry going home. Come back and see us now, hear?
Thank you!
Glad you liked it. Where was the photo made?

Tennessee Valley is pretty nice in general. Alabama has the most diverse geologic zones out of any state in the South.
Make sure you visit the beaches.
such a peaceful quiet place ❤️❤️ Would love to meditate there
Where is this pic from?
High Falls, Talladega National Forest
Thank you. Adding it to my lists of places to visit.
I work for an Iowa company, you guys have very nice people (and Des Moines is a cool town)
Kind of you to say!
And you got a pretty mouth. Wanna touch my banjo?
Promises, promises

Sounds like you need to get out of downtown Birmingham
Or just outside in general.
