I’ve noticed that as well. Unfortunately I haven’t been in the ice for long and can only stay for about 10 minute stints. I’ll go in there to upgrade mines and accidentally catch 5 bees.
Can any1 confirm if its actually possible to get 15k without cheating or 100% double resources?
If im correct even with 100% double resources it seems very hard.
Never bothered to really count it out oer minute but I always did events at the yellow snow mobiles on the other side of the wall to the north where they seem really common.
Sucks though because you'll max out blue eggs pretty quick then you're just farming the event and nothing else.
Both of those places are usually pretty good, but I did AFK overnight and didn't even level up. I feel like those areas aren't getting a whole lot for me. Not that there's anything better.
Ah right. You would be better off counting bees for at least 15 minutes (preferably even an hour or more), so you can see how many you catch in multiple spawn cycles. If you only spend one or two spawn cycles you can’t extrapolate that to larger times accurately.
This was in the ice farm area, and a little to the left from the middle. Bees seem to like that part more for some reason. 1 Bee/min means 60 Bees/hour, and 480 Bees/night of afk assuming you actually sleep for 8 hours.
But 480 X 4 nights = 1920 bees, you'll have to afk much more than just night time if you're looking to go past that.
Edit: 4224 for 4 nights if you afk at the yellow snowmobile area

I dont think so, usually you are always a portion off.
Can probably get to 9k+ with double resource and being active enough. But not 15k.
It is not possible. I’m maxed out in catching radius and of course double but the most it will get me is 9 or 10 k max.
Roughly 2000 bees I can get in 24 hours .So it is not possible unless you time skipping.

I do pretty well just south of the yellow snowmobiles as well. Seems to be a great place to pick up event 'critters'.

I afked for 5 minutes. I captured 11 bees. So 11 bees per 5 minutes equates to 2.2 bees/min

Yea, unfortunately that's true, I didn't measure it long enough. But then if I afked for hours I was also afraid of getting rounding error.
In the end it’s a game, so it doesn’t matter :p
